Ten players have arrived at Super Eagles camp in Morocco ahead of the friendlies against Ghana and Mali.

The early arrivals in camp are Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Stanley Nwabali, Jamilu Collins, and Bruno Onyemaechi.

The other players in camp are Cyriel Dessers, Nathan Tella, Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi and Fisayo Dele -Bashiru.

More players are expected in camp on Tuesday (today).

The players will have their first training session at 4:30pm local time.

The Super Eagles will take on Ghana at the Grand de Stade Marrakech on Friday, March 22.

The three-time African champions will face Mali four days later at the same venue.

A source close to Crystal Palace star Michael Olise reveals the player still wants to play for the Super Eagles
Crystal Palace star Michael Olise is still open to representing Nigeria after turning down an invitation from Algeria recently.

A source close to the player revealed that Nigeria is Olise's preferred nationality if his first-choice France doesn't offer him a chance soon.

The 21-year-old is eligible to represent France, England, Nigeria and Algeria internationally and has already rejected an approach from the Algerian FA.

A source close to Olise told OwngoalNigeria that the 21-year-old is interested in playing for the Super Eagles if his French ambition doesn't work out.

“Olise has a certain attachment to the Nigerian team and that is why he accepted a call-up two years ago,” the source said.

“He didn’t honour it due to issues and also the sack of the coach, but he still has Nigeria in mind if he does not make it with the French team," the source continued.

“His talks to turn down an invitation from Algeria has led to talks of them shaming him that he can’t into the Nigerian team," he said revealing the condition under which Olise would play for Nigeria.

“However, I tell you, if Nigeria come calling at the right time, he will jump on it," he said emphatically offering hope to the Super Eagles.

Olise currently represents the French u-21 national team and is hoping to make the step up to the senior team by the next World Cup.

South Africa beat Tanzania today 1-0 (Aggregate 4-0).

First leg will take place in Abuja, Nigeria while the second leg will take place in South Africa.

Super Eagles played Cameroon and South Africa at AFCON 2023 and won. Now Super Falcons have played Cameroon and won and will hopefully play South Africa in Paris 2924 Olympics qualifiers (and win).

Super Eagles will be playing South Africa later in June for world cup qualifiers 2026 and Super Falcons will play same South Africa in April for a spot for Olympic qualifiers

This team has to camp early and play together before we face South Africa.

You also had Terem Moffi but chose to always play an unfit Osimhen. That's suicidal. At a point Onyeka was always holding his shoulders in pains. Kels was unused in this AFCON.

NFF will have to sit down with Jpes if his contract will be renewed and discuss this. Thankfully and hopefully, Ndidi, Tella, Sadiq, Boniface will be back for this friendly. We need Michael Folorunsho in that midfield

Randy should please not start Oshoala in the 2nd leg at Abuja. Play Echigini and Okoronkwo so we can seal our victory with goals.
