Joebie: Here we go somehow and mujtahida I agreed with you that day na. Musa has proven to us why benching him is never ok. He's one of the most lether attackers we have in Nigeria. He could have had an hattrick today if not for the woodwork. |

BascoVanVeli: Thank you my brother. Some people won't say the truth. What do we do with holdup? Hes been holding up in all the matches we have played, what were the outcomes? Did you not see the one man striker croatia used yesterday? He scored while holding up. That is what is expected of a striker! |

I wanted to post this comment before Ebuehi committed that PK.
I wanted Rohr to switch Moses for Ebuehi, remove Iheanacho for Simy and Etebo for Iwobi.
All in all i am very happy we won! |

BascoVanVeli: Ighalo winning every thing against the Iceland defenders. Winning ball but doing nothing with it. Believe me, if he started, we wouldn't have 2 goals. |

tbaba1234: Ighalo's hold up play has been pretty good Hold up that nothing came out from? He should be scoring that on his own. |

We can all see the difference between Musa and Ighalo? That would have been the 3rd goal.
A fresh Ighalo couldnt even beat a tired defender 1on 1 |

He started the attack by winning the header in the middle.
What we have always asked Ighalo zo do.
A short Musa did all these! |

I wouldn't place any bet on a team my heart and emotions are tied to, why would i do that? Well i don't know what some of you call love for your country and footballing team, some of us love with our hearts. Football will end for Nigeria after all the emotions, efforts, sleepless nights put into preparing for a once in 4 years competition just to crash out with no point. if this doesn't affect you, then it says alot about your commitment to this team. Then i dare ask, why have you been on this thread for years now if crashing out with no point is no biggie to you? Why do people cry in the stands when their country lose matches? Seems you haven't experienced genuine love for a cause. Icon4s: Does life end if we lose the game? Will football end if we lose the game? Did you place a huge bet with the game? Will you lose your job if we lose the game?
If "No" is the answer to all the questions raised above why develop health issues over it.
Remember FOOTBALL IS JUST A GAME. |

You import the difference between what the NNPC produce and what is being demanded. Gerrit? and stop depending on the media for everything, filter, compare and lastly use common sense to arrive at what to believe or not. showafrica: Well, I depend on the media, I heard we still import fuel and marketers are negotiating subsidy. TheSuperNerd: Lol.... But surprised, I am shaa to hear you haven't heard of him. I was a little boy when I read about Ali Daei and saw clips of him and the France 98 story. Also, of how he was involved in that historic win for Iran over USA at France 98. And you and I know the political brouhaha these two nations have always had from way back. Ali Daei's international career is well documented. He was indeed a legend and a true lion of Persia. Eeya, i actually didnt know about him until now. You no we cant know it all? |
Family › Re: Wife Surprises Husband After Landlord Stormed Their Home Over House Rent. Photos by somehow: 3:18pm On Jun 20, 2018 |
MrBrownJay1: the issue here is that many people on NL are driven by nonsense... aka its a man's duty to pay the rent bla bla bla, and disregard any facts here.
i am sorry to say that, as much as it is a man's duty to pay the rent (in Nigeria), if/when that man CANNOT pay the rent, then the 1st person he should turn to for help is HIS WIFE; the 1st person he should seek support from is HIS WIFE... and if that woman gladly let this man go to sleep stressed out every night and filled with worries about how to pay the rent (knowing fully well that she could help) then i am sorry to say that there is something really wrong in this marriage. Absolutely. This one time stuff she did is seen as a biggie even if the man has been paying rents non stop for years. I wonder what people understand by the word "couple" in this part of the world. Team work.. Team work... Team work.. You dont wait till the other has reached his limit and be disgraced before stepping in to assist. Do some women in Nigeria even know the meaning of the word "Helpsmeet"? |

MrBrownJay1: ARRANT NONSENSE!!!! so hubby had problem to pay the rent, and this useless woman couldnt just bring the money out on rent day....she had to wait till the landlord disgraced them to bring the cash?!?!?!? maybe that man wouldnt have been in such situation if his wife had contributed to the family wellbeing earlier!!!
man is suffering to pay the bills, wifey sees that but instead of helping him she secretely is saving money?!?!?! what kind of deluded world is this?!?! were they not "ONE"?! My thought exactly. Why wait till he was to be embarrassed? Now the whole neighbor knows who dropped the rent. |

TheSuperNerd: Russia 2018 WC updates
Portugal leads 1-0 against Morocco but that is not the main story. The main story is that Ronaldo just became the All-Time and stand alone leading Goalscorer of all time in International Football in Europe.
Only one man now has scored more international goals than Rinaldo and that man is Asian. The great Iranian legend, All Daei who featured at France '98. Who did Ali Daei score all these 106 goals against internationally? How long did he play and how come alot is unknown about him? He's even a giant standing at 1.95M tall |

darkelf: Sir Somehow, I think Oga Mujtahida echoed your sentiment earlier, you are both very right about this being a Nigerian thing.
Hence the reason for Pinnick's hardwork to ensure that that an agreement is reached and every due is settled. He learnt from history since the bane of our performance in past editions had always being money money money.....
It is a pity that we are at this stage where our thinking is "since these boys have being paid their dues. there's no excuse for non-performance"
There's no winning tradition, victors mentality or innate desire to rule the world of football among our boys" Everything in Nigeria is linked to money. But I reiterate, it will be difficult for the boys to cultivate the winners mentality overnight just because of a defeat. It takes time and conscious effort. But since we have two games to go, lets see if the money motivation is enough
Bu Too bad we're suffering for the dangerous foundation we have laid. I wish we still have the likes of Taribo west, Yekini, Oliseh, Garbal Lawal, Sani Keita, Peter Rufai in the eagles. These are people who will die to see that they will a match. What can we do to see hearts like this in te eagles again? |
