A simple 3,5,2 would have saved us from losing the match, but what do i know? Rohr knows it all.
An Ighalo that has not scored in 6 matches, even in friendlies is expected to be the savior? half shot at goal from him we didn't see.
This man is too rigid to be a good coach.
Playing Iwobi as LW killed me, Mikel as AM?
Etebo playing as LW and Mikel partnering Ndidi would have saved our faces from this embarrassment.
Too bad we lost Moses Simon to injury, just too bad.
If the rigid coach likes, let him use the same deadwood Ighalo in the next match.
If he likes oh, he shouldn't use 3,5,2
Uzoho Ekong, Balogun, Omeruo Ebuehi, Mikel, Iwobi, Ndidi, Moses
Iheanacho, Simy
Or
Uzoho Omeruo, Balogun, Ogu
Ebuehi, Mikel, Iwobi, Ndidi, Etebo
Iheanacho Moses
Iwobi in both formation should be higher up than the other 4 midfielders.
Simple! |

blaise26abj: But As long as Messi can score, he is expected to pull his weight when the need arises. He can’t aspire to be the greatest of all times and not prove it when his national team and nation need him to. Even if he doesn’t score , he can create chances. I’m sure You will agree with me that a team can be centered around a player. A playmaker. If he is really that good, he should be able to play that role well.
As to your point that he doesn’t have support system in Argentina, did you look at the argentine players? He has the support system sir. My point is he is so used to the Barca style that he doesn’t look invincible outside of it.
See, I haven’t mentioned Ronaldo. Since he said he's been poor and has got suppprt, how come the " support" not bailing the team out yet expect him to do it always? |

hoopLA: @somehow, Messi has a history of bottling big time at the international big stage.
No be today. Like he bottled against Nigeria U20 shey? Like he bottled in the finals against Germany and made higuain and the rest waste all the chances given to them? Like he bottled by scoring and beating Nigeria 3:2 in brazil? Well you have the right to your opinion so let me stop here. |

hoopLA: Partly agree with you. And partly disagree.
Messi I think simply hasn't raised his game at the World Cup or even at the copa America: the biggest competitions.
As someone with 5 WPOTY he should in my opinion be the driving force of this Argentina side. Ronaldo showed us yesterday what responding to expectation of a nation means against a top side.
Shining in qualifying is different from doing it at the real tournament. Iceland has players that are part time. No excuse for not beating them if you have Messi in your side.
I agree with you when you speak of chemistry issues but I think Argentina over the last decade or so have too much talent at their disposal and the managers/coaches of the national side over this period just picks stars (possibly to make his job easier) instead of functional players who can play together. Not doing ronaldo messi comparison. Both aren't even doing the same job for their national team. Just remove Messi's goals from Argentina even though they have more than 2 standard strikers. How come he's even ahead of these known strikers goal wise? All the finals they have been to, he had to do 110% to get them there but you cant always do it alone. He's expected to do all the jobs for them. Which is killing the national team. All the same, their bad work-rate should continue until we play them in this worldcup. |

blaise26abj: That is why the fight for the greatest of all time is ongoing. Messi has been poor all round with his national team. At euro, Ronaldo , even with his injury was so passionate for his team and they won. Same thing yesterday. The passion shows for him. I repeat remove Messi from his Barca and he might just turn out not to be as good as we see him. But I doubt we will ever have that opportunity to assess him in another team except his national team and Barca. And
And for now, he is great in Barca and not so good in his national team. Bro i am not here to argue Messi Ronaldo, so strile that out of your mind. Now you said hes been poor for the national team? Now let me use logic and facts to disagree with you. Messi plays 10 for the national team, he does the passing and creativity for them. Argentina have strikers unlike Barcelona that has just 1 striker (main), so he's always expected to score for barca. Hes got support passers and creators at Barcelona unlike Argenina where he's expected to do the scoring, passing and creativity. Sincr Messi entered the national squad, kindly remove all his goals for the national team, then tell me hpw many goals the rest scored to prove that he's been poor. I wouldn't talk on Ronaldo cos i am not interested in comparison of players. |

blaise26abj: The truth is remove him from Barca and Messi becomes a bit ineffective. He is a great team player and if his team isn’t playing well he doesn’t too. Unlike Ronaldo who can be the tree in a forest irrespective of how his team plays The same messi that single handedly qualified them for the world cup by going to Ecuado to score 3 goals? (hattrick)? Problem is, they rely too much on him in Argentina while the rest go to sleep. Chemistry is surely missing in their squad. Messi is a victim of his own success. |

Greenishland: Do you think that because the book of Mark has 16 chapters that it means everything happened within sixteen days or hours? Now why do you think that these events you are arguing about happened within the same day or within two days or even within the same week?
All the years of Jesus ministry was three years and somebody was able to summarize what he saw in sixteen chapters and you are here asking why the bread did not remain.
You should have investigated if the disciples or Jesus, ever ate throughout the three years because there is no evidence that they did but that doesn't mean that they were not eating regularly.
Lastly if you are someone's secretary, is it not only the relevant things that you document? Do you document irrelevancies? Read my bible oga and stop this long sermon.. Part of the verse said "immediately they left in a boat".. Are you saying it took them 4 months to leave where they performed the miracle to another location by boat or what are you trying to paint here? They could record that there were 12 baskets remaining but couldn't record what happened to the rainments yet went straight to not having anything on the same boat they left the venue on except a loaf? Remember you are not the only one with a brain. |

But latin has to do with classic roman language and i don't think French should be among the list, french is more to english/greek than to latin. Though i understand where you're coming from looking at the context the commentator was speaking from (Footballing context) but Latin term is more complex than that. Funny enough, Latin is more significantly used with Mexicans and smaller countries like Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venzuelas etc but mostly on Mexicans. It's more on the sounds and music and less on sports. asha80: Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and French all descended from Latin.. from the commentator's view I guess he meant Latin American countries (usually Spanish speaking except brazil that is Portuguese speaking ) |

it was not balogun fault maybe that's what you are suspecting Not really, we cleared lesser balls out of that region and played more on the ground when we had omeruo, ekong and ogu at the back + ebuehi/idowu Unlike the first half when we had balogun, ekong, shehu and idowu. |
