Has anyone noticed that Ekong doesn't jump/compete for balls during corners/setpiece either for us or against us?

A simple 3,5,2 would have saved us from losing the match, but what do i know? Rohr knows it all.

An Ighalo that has not scored in 6 matches, even in friendlies is expected to be the savior? half shot at goal from him we didn't see.

This man is too rigid to be a good coach.

Playing Iwobi as LW killed me, Mikel as AM?

Etebo playing as LW and Mikel partnering Ndidi would have saved our faces from this embarrassment.

Too bad we lost Moses Simon to injury, just too bad.

Shining in qualifying is different from doing it at the real tournament. Iceland has players that are part time. No excuse for not beating them if you have Messi in your side.

I agree with you when you speak of chemistry issues but I think Argentina over the last decade or so have too much talent at their disposal and the managers/coaches of the national side over this period just picks stars (possibly to make his job easier) instead of functional players who can play together.

Messi plays 10 for the national team, he does the passing and creativity for them. Argentina have strikers unlike Barcelona that has just 1 striker (main), so he's always expected to score for barca. Hes got support passers and creators at Barcelona unlike Argenina where he's expected to do the scoring, passing and creativity.

Sincr Messi entered the national squad, kindly remove all his goals for the national team, then tell me hpw many goals the rest scored to prove that he's been poor.

I wouldn't talk on Ronaldo cos i am not interested in comparison of players.

Funny enough, Latin is more significantly used with Mexicans and smaller countries like Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Venzuelas etc but mostly on Mexicans.

It's more on the sounds and music and less on sports.

Russia 2018 finally here.

For some of us that hardly engage in most social stuffs around, footballing events like this help us to have a change of routine once a while.

Too bad i might not even get to watch most matches on TV or cable.. I pray my data don't disappoint me. I will end up having to stream most of the matches.

Not really, we cleared lesser balls out of that region and played more on the ground when we had omeruo, ekong and ogu at the back + ebuehi/idowu
