I have no evidence or official confirmation but Dobt believe that he would be called to camp with such a restricted remit.

You call players in test and consider what they can bring to the national team set up. Presumably on a level playing field.

Our performance which was impressive has to do with our mobility. We need to stick with our most mobile set-up which includes Nacho and Musa. Iwobi, Simy and Ighalo do not fit into that set-up.

No Sir,Aina was called to camp cos we are having issue with RB position.

The build up to our WC and Afcon qualifiers should tell you that, remember against Tanzania Musa Mohammed played as RB but Rohr wasn't satisfied and deployed Ndidi as RB against Zambia in Ndola.Also Omeruo played the position against Algeria and Shehu played it against South Africa.

This was what prompted Rohr to search for quality RB in Aina and Ebuehi.Prior to Cameroon match,Aina was to start but his late paper clearance from FIFA denied him and Shehu performance against Cameroon gave him an edge later run.

Aina introduction as LB in eagles was due to Echiejile injury against Zambia, remember he came in for Echiejile and he continued the role against Algeria and Argentina.

Aina's eagles invitation was to solve our initial RB problem but circumstances pushed him to LB but failed to seized the opportunity.

Aina has been playing RB and or RWB since he was 15 even at Chelsea he combined with V.Moses as a RB.

It was only when he went to Hull on loan that he was called on to play LB and on right side of midfield.

Coming on as a sub is a lot easier to make an impression.

But that's old news now and the matter is over. hopefully lessons have been learned. Was Aina given a fair chance to prove himself, it's open to debate.

I doubt he was worst than Ebuehi on the the left wing back position. If only Aina was also tried out on the right(his primary position) like Ebuehi but, I doubt he would have been as bad as Shehu.

Something is sure in that game. We will have plenty of defending to do.

Our 3-5-2 would look more like 5-4-1 as the Wing Backs would have plenty of defending to do at the Side Back positions and one of the 2 forwards (Iheanacho) will have to occasionally join the midfield. Musa's pace would be greatly needed when counter-attacking opportunities come.

be it 3-5-2 or when it morphs to a 5-3-2 the baseline there is that it creates space for players like Messi. do you remember that match against Chelsea? He had space to operate over and again.

Yes na. The 3-5-2 can morph into a 5-4-1 when we're defending. Musa stays alone with their slow defenders with Iheanacho dropping a bit deeper to help Mikel, Ndidi and Etebo. Moses and Ebuehi play closer to the trio of Omeruo, EKong and Balogun.

I would vouch for a 4-5-1 against Argentina. playing three at the back would create space out wide for Messi and or Dybala depending on who starts on the wings and these two guys can commit players. a 4-5-1 maintains that defensive rigidity especially since Moses has decided that whenever he okays as a wingback for us that he would be more concerned with attacking than defending
