I now see why we have bad leaders if all it takes to be counted as worthy of leadership is by doing what sowore has done.

Please give me 5 leadership qualities you find in Sowore let's dicsuss.
denjjy:
I want to urge all the industrious Nigerian youths to troop out in mass to canvass for this man called Omoyele Sowore he's our own Emmanuel Macron. it's time we reclaimed our mandated from this ineffectual buffon that tagged all Nigerian youth as being illiterate and lazy. We can do it

BusinessRe: Crude Oil Price Rises To $74, Highest In Four Years by somehow: 10:49am On Apr 20, 2018
Simply be a fair judge if you want your life to be judged fairly. If oil price gets back to $100+ 6 months to the end of his tenure, are you to judge his 4yrs govt with that? Judge what he does within that 6 months with the rise and not all the 4yrs. Now that's fair judgement.
Zico5:
And with the rise in oil price Bubu still could not achieve anything. I wonder what he will use as campaign strategy. Down the south here it's surely finished for him. Many elites will never vote for sympathy or ineffectiveness. The cow rearing pigs up north are the major problem of this country. They could hardly differentiate between left and right and that is why Bubu will always be their god. How on earth could a sane person root for 75year old pig that knows nothing than chewing goro. Down south we shall try our best to remove him, may God bless us
PoliticsRe: Are Nigerian Youths Actually Lazy? by somehow: 10:38am On Apr 20, 2018
So after typing all that, the only workable example you gave was singing song? Lol so that's the only creative or innovative stuff the Nigerian youths can do? Apart from comedy and singing. What else? We already have all these in abundance elsewhere in the world and this won't take you up the ladder of innovation and creativity. Where are we on the ladder of innovation/creativity world wide?

The groundnut piramid you talked about which was years ago was done by the same northerners some of you call mumu.

If ants can't sing, birds and some other animals can.

matrixme:
Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. Creativity is characterised by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns, to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.
Arranging groundnuts into pyramids rather than selling it conventionally is making connections. Washing cars in traffic is generating a solution.Besides, I used these as everyday examples. Can your ants sing songs that gets worldwide recognition in native languages? Next time, think, then type.

The effects of recession.
pol23:
Boko harram and the problem in the North has spoilt Yankari game reserve visitation...
Few years back when we wanted to visit, every comment and advise was against it...We had to change to Cross River national park.
I believe Cross River national park is number 1 in Nigeria and Old Oyo park should be among top 5 too...
Cross River National park is the only place you can find Drill monkey in the natural habitat in the world...
With the size almost as big as Lagos State X4...the diversity and its beauty is genuine.
There are trees and herbs believed to have potency to cure Cancer. They also have various Snakes, birds, gorilla,Elephants and the mosquitoes there are as big as Helicopter, mosquito go chop you,you go won cry.
Tourism in Nigeria is dead, because man wey never chop no go dey go look for monkey...Since Buhari enter I never go vacation...I use to think government policies no concern me...

Very simple. Once you can prove the legality of the purchase, they have no case again.
jaid23:
Ok great, just got a call from them this morning after I've sent them d receipt of my purchase to them having my name on it. They said my package is ready for delivery that I should be expecting their delivery man that they called to verify my address and to knw if I'm gonna be around to sign for it..

Thanks.

Mytrick:when I was asked to send d reciept of purchase and id to their email, I sent a cc of the email to a lawyer cousin (having d initials of law on his email address) grin

I don't knw if its my trick that worked or just due process took its course *lol*

Jeez.. all these pass for creavitity? Even ants can do better lolz
matrixme:
so you're blind enough to see creativity expressed in intangible ways by the Nigerian youths? Some hawkers take time to arrange their groundnuts into a pyramid before carying it on their head. Have you seen the dynamics and complexity of washing a car in traffic in order to make ends meet? In what other way do you want creativity expressed with so little government support? Perhaps you're one of those lazy, fat youths that got every comfort necessary for life from the government on a platter of Gold
RomanceRe: What Is Wrong With Sex After Traditional Marriage? by somehow:
Acidosis:
It is a two way thing bro:

Morally speaking, the traditional wedding is more valuable than white/court wedding.

Legally speaking, white/court wedding is more valuable than "traditional wedding." Ikoyi Registry can get you wedded today by simply renting parents and in-laws with less than N10k.
Stop juxaposing court wedding with white wedding. Court wedding is a legal type of wedding constituted by federal laws (it's actually called registry).

White wedding is what it is, another form of traditional wedding but from the western world, it's not different from the traditional wedding already being practised.

It's either you do traditional wedding (the original one and backed by customary law) + registry which is backed by fed law or you do white wedding (oyinbo traditional wedding) + marriage registry.

It's insane in this part of the world that we love to waste money alot duplicating things.

How come the oyibo some of us copy only do one wedding?

No, court wedding is not more valuable, rather it's cheaper. If the parents do not give out their children for marriage traditionally, that marriage is not complete in the sight of God. Do you pay bride price at the registry? How come the churches that do white wedding ask if you have done trad/paid bride price? Because it's the most important and of the highest value.

The day you pay bride price is the day you're married. Every other thing is secondary. The registry is only for (federal) legal aspect of the marriage.
RomanceRe: What Is Wrong With Sex After Traditional Marriage? by somehow: 7:41am On Apr 20, 2018
Here lies the issue, there is nothing like church wedding, it's called white wedding.

Another issue is reducing and downgrading the oldest institution created by God himself called traditional wedding (when he wedded Adam to Eve in the gardens of Eden being the parents of both) for a foreign wedding.

Except you are saying White wedding is more valuable than traditional wedding, I see your views as disturbing.

If they say want white wedding, let them proceed to the court and have it there without any ceremony attached. The traditional wedding is where all the ceremonies should be present just like the one Jesus attended in Cana

I rest my case.

Acidosis:
Paying the family rites and dowry is not useless. Asking your Father in Law to give her daughter to you in matrimony is not useless. The only useless thing about traditional marriage is the extravagance and ceremonial conducts that appear to be a repetition of what is to come in the church and reception. Why do we have to buy a special aso ebi for traditional wedding and another for white? What is the essence of making a traditional wedding cake and another for white? Isn't the cake concept a white culture in the first place? Who taught the African man how to bake?

As regards the sex thing, you're considering the moral aspect of this issue; but I'm more concerned about the legal aspect. In law, morality is hardly defined (ask any lawyer) so it is best to go the legal way if you must demand sex. Like I said earlier, the traditional weddings we do nowadays are not legally binding. It doesn't mean traditionally wedded couples can't enjoy their marriage. It doesn't mean they can't sleep with each other. All I am saying is simple: 750k is not enough reason to prove that you're legally married to someone.

Traders and business owners are business men and woman, why do govts acquire lands to build markets?
Esseite:
herdsmen are business men and should be able to use their profits to do what is right.

Govt has no business in acquiring lands for herdsmen.

We are a family of sorts and for quite some time even if I don't agree with you most times. You can have sisters that can be a pain but they are still your sister.

In that context I expected those who are more ameniable to you. To immediately without delay offer to help.

You are not begging by any stretch of the imagination.

I am serious even if putting it in the diction of humour.

I was expecting you to say, Praise God somebody has decided to bless me and hopefully anonymously. But that doesn't seem to have happened.

In this regard I am very disappointed.

I thought it was an act of great humility and integrity for you to have shared that situation with us here. Most would pretend that all is well and that they have no lack and are rolling in ££$$. That for me is most impressive and makes me look at you positively differently.

So I still expect our guys here to answer thier names, joke no deh. It's certainly not SILLY.

Sorry but i am not here to discuss sedition.

When you show me all the innovations done within the SE that is globally sought after, then i will take your "angle" serious. stick within Nigeria. i am not discussing SEDITION here and won't go that route with you.

Elliot2:
And how did your govt harnessed the creativity of the biafrans ingenuity in the war? A sensible govt could have asked questions on how biafrans did it? every now and then Nigerians are doing marvelous things that need support, but aren't. The Anthony Joshua's of our time is making great exploits as a result of the comfortable environment he grew up in. Victor Moses would have likely perished if he had stayed in Nigeria after his parents deaths - but a comfortable environment did it for him. You don't realise that out of every 10 successful persons that made it despite the harsh conditions of the country,90 perished as a result;which is not necessarily their fault. All we are asking for is the level playing ground, that the basic amenities required of any sane govt are provided for the people: that way we can identify those who are truly lazy. Abolish quota system so that we can identify the lazy people; restructure this country to regionalism so that we can identify the lazy regions; provide 24hrs light so that we can identify the lazy persons;fund and upgrade our educational institutions so that we can identify the lazy ones...

Excuses here and there. Nigerians are excuses! well don't worry, the old men will leave the podium for you guys when they are all dead which might be forever since they keep replacing themselves. The jobs they all queue to work at, who created them? anyways like the video said, those that are not educated and not working are the ones he's talking about.

And for those educated yet cant think up a demand that needs to be filled, then they are not educated either. not everything require huge sums of money and if you must do mania jobs, do it because you want to save to start that creative ideas you have in your head.

Going to buy already made products/goods to resell is not creativity!

royal200:
I always wonder how some people talk like a goat.. Sorry to say never judge anyone doing manial job after Schooling to keep body and soul. So tell me after the so called educated spend the years in school, how many things can you create in your environment without eating since morning or even having anything to execute your ideas.. 99% idea need funding,so are you saying the so called educated should sit in one place and be looking for unavailable fund.. Most of you guys only have luck which you are using to justify others..... How I wish all learn through same way to be equity in life.
PoliticsRe: Are Nigerian Youths Actually Lazy? by somehow: 3:50pm On Apr 19, 2018
You didn't watch the video, yet passing judgement? grin
Kaylexzy:
Well, I didn't watch the video, but if it is true that the president said Nigerian youths are lazy, then it really is a baseless statement.
Firstly, all Nigerian youths ain't lazy.
Secondly, majority of Nigerian youths ain't lazy.
So the statement is without fact. If he had said, some Nigerian youths are lazy, well I would not have argued. Cos, Anywhere in the world you will meet a lot of lazy people.
And please what is his definition of lazy? Someone without a job, someone without a good paying job, someone that isn't creative or someone that is into crime? I would like to be enlightened on this before i put more argument forward.
