Dont be surprised, almost all referees in Nigeria are educated. And it's a must you have a job before you can be a ref in Nigeria. Minimum is to be a student. Lastly, we have doctors, lawyers, politicians, teachers, lecturers, pastors, fathers, police men.and.women, naval officers, soldiers etc as referees in naija. They are not people suffering. Kalapizim: " the referees team led by an Army Officer and FIFA referee, Col Fawole has Rabiu Baita of Jigawa council as Assessor while another Fifa referee from Lagos Council, Jelili Ogunmuyiwa will be assisted by Moroof Aromona and Cletus Adewebi, all of Lagos Council in the Rangers vs Lobi clash." Well it's on the thread we read comments like this. You can read back. Just stating it so that we won't have any double standard when it comes to others. Kog45: U23 team?who are the people saying is enough, pls don't be deceived by some guys double standard here, they always saying that to protect their players.
Pls would Brazil,Spain,Germany even Iceland takes players playing for U23 team of his club to WC?I don't know why we don't face reality and always trying to bend the rules for some players and used another rules for some players.
If i may ask did we show the same love and solidarity we have for Nacho to Musa,No.When Musa was having it tough a lot said he should not be called to national team but when Nacho was going through the same paths our tone changed(if he can get regular playing time with U23 is good enough)thank God the young man showed what he can do against at Fleetwood, hope to see him playing regularly for Leicester not U23 and hope Musa secure a club that guarantee him playing time. |

Oga the role is. We hardly see what he can do when used as a 9 hence the reason people tag him as a tap-in pro. TheGoodJoe: The role is not the challenge but creating of chances. Nacho buries chances. In the game against South Africa, he made brilliant runs playing as a top striker but the midfield failed to feed him.
In the first goal he scored Fleetwood, Nacho was ahead of Slimani when Slimani gave him the pass. Nacho was with two defenders and still buried it. The role is not Nacho's problem but supplies and a good offensive system. Then you will see Fireworks. |

Maybe regular play in the U23 team is enough to keep him fit for Russia? Maybe the trainings are enough too just as some said not having regular playtime doesn't stop you from being a good or fit player. So we can as well use that yardstick for Musa too. Only God knows the content of their contracts! ClumsyFlimsy: I just feel pity for Ahmed musa
Whenever I remember his beautiful brace against Argentina; I feel for him. Dude might not go to worlcup cos of lack of playtime. Leicester coach doesn't know how to rotate squad. Am sure despite yesterday's performance iheanacho will still chop bench, probably the coach will have no choice but to use him for cup matched |

Iheanacho must never be used as a 9. Never! We have seen that he's always at his best when played as an SS Iheanacho is a beast in that role. Rohr, please take note! tbaba1234: Iheanacho feeds off confidence. His performance improved considerably after scoring the first. The same thing happened against Argentina.
The quality is still there. At his best, he could be an amazing asset at the world cup. |

Meaning Musa and others not playing first team football are also good to go? TheSuperNerd: Yes Sir GoodJoe. He is improving at quite a dangerous pace without playing time. His drills time is truly paying off and I mist give kudos for your staunch belief in the theory that states,
"Playing time is not everything and not the ultimate marker for a player's development and growth. The training pitch, the drills and the time spent in practice away from match day action also contributes big time to a player's massive development into topclass acts...."
Kelechi has so far proven your theory true and effective... With really stern efforts on his side no doubt. I believe he will keep up The fire in training Sir GoodJoe.... I believe he will keep the fire burning bright.
A toast to drills..... #RaiseYourGlasses |

English media and FA won't allow Puel to use this combos which leaves out their Vardy even if he doesn't score for ages. Instead of the yeye coach to be using 2 different attack duo/trip every match, e go sit there dey play with strikers that on and off. Use ur verdy-okazaki-mahrez in the first half, pull them out in the second half except Mahrez, then introduce Slimani-iheanacho! Use the last sub for either midfield or defender if need be! kennysville: I think i totally agree with you on that. Iheanacho, Mahrez and Slimani played with a high level of intelligence. Teamwork pays. Stamp out sole stardom in a team and you will have good returns |

I guess Iheanacho has been adding more workloads during trainings and people have started murmuring on why he doesn't use him. Next is Musa, we have few days to go, if you like sit down there and not get outta their U23. World cup you no go go! TheGoodJoe: I throway Salute to you. |

When the likes of Messi and Ronaldo's of this world retire, he should be among he new sets following Neymar, Coutinho, Salahs of this world. Humility017: to be honest wit you...letting him go is something Leicester will ever regret.. that boy is a rare player man city knew this reason why they inserted a buy-back clause in his contract. |

And who's suppose to created goal scoring opportunities for the forwards? Who's their playmaker? femianski: #copied from BBC website We were just saying, when would Puel think about bringing Jamie Vardy on? It's a really good ball from Slimani and an excellent first touch from Iheanacho - a first shot on target and a first goal for Leicester City. It's the quality of a Premier League side, they've created nothing and then all of a sudden they come to life. |

Signing a deal with NTA is the worst decision ever taken by LMC, makes no sense. It would have even made more sense signing deals directly with one private station per state to air their home matches live in each state. This should be possible or don't you think so? Joebie: I wonder what NFF expected signing a deal with NTA. I’m not surprised |
