Are these the only people with one wife in the bible or this is the normal selective justice? asuustrike2009: |
There is none saying you should marry multiple wives yet none condemned those who did. Or can you show me any scripture that rebuked those that married more than one? Secondly, did the bible tell you to dirvoce any of your wives if you married more? Show me scriptures! Actuarydeji: |
Goal keeping is not the reason they are where they are sir. The team is simply not good enough. Like Uzoho will take charge then suddenly send them to the top abi? Abusule007: |
Only scriptural explanation on people with more than one wife is inability to hold any positions in the church, nothing else. You mustn't dirvoce any of the wives as long as you married them legally. Read your bible and stop the follow follow. |
Still early in the season. Wait till week 15, everything go arrange itself. Strength, power, and unfamiliarity still helping some of the "not so good clubs for now". daveP: |
Mikel Agu? The few times he played for us, didn't really strike me as a better choice. I prefer ogu to him. Joe Obi should pray luck shines on him so he can be picked for some of the friendlies. EEGA: |

League Followers Task State Football Association On Security At Stadia.................Focus On Nasarawa and Kastina United Tie On behalf of the keen followers of Nigeria leagues, we write to sincerely appreciate the leadership of Nigeria Football Federation led by *Mr Amanju Melvin Pinnick*, Vice President of the NFF, *Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi* (the peace maker) ,and particularly the second Vice President of the NFF and chairman of the League Management Company, *LMC, Mallam Sheu Dikko* the gentleman for the excellent job since you are doing his assumption of office. We can't thank you enough Sirs. Sequel to the spate of violence that characterised Match Day 1 of 2017/2018 Nigeria Professional Football League particularly at the Lafia Township Stadium and Kastina Stadium, and consequent upon the feelings of followers of Naija league with respect to safety of lives and properties, we humbly use this medium to appeal to the management of Naija made leagues to wake up to their responsibility and consider the under listed recommendations for optimum performance : 1) The *LMC, NFF, NRA and SWAN* should embark on joint inspection on Nasarawa Township Stadium particularly on their perimeter fencing before Match Day 3 of NPFL so as to ensure safety of lives and properties of the stakeholders particularly Referees, pressmen and spectators at the stadium. 1) If any of the above bodies is not satisfied with the standard of things at the above named stadium, LMC should ensure as a matter of urgency, provide another venue for their subsequent matches pending the completion of the affected area of the Lafia Township stadium 2) Kastina State F.A. should be made to write official letter stating reasons why Kano Pillars were not allowed to train 24hrs before the match as stipulated in the law book and sanction them accordingly if found guilty. 3) All state F.A should be made to present to the league organisers the security arrangement at the stadium (hot/flash spot and those in charge of match officials) before the commencement of every match . 4) The fans involved in dastardly acts at Nasarawa Township Stadium should be arrested, published and prosecuted accordingly. 5) Each stadium should have a standard spacing between spectators and the pitch to avoid pitch encroachment. 6) Stadium tunnel should be strictly meant for the officials and anyone found constituting nuisance to the referees movement to their dressing should be captured by the press men and punished along with the State F.A who allowed such in his domain 7) Referees' Dressing room should be strictly meant for the officials and officials alone. Any touts, rented toughs found at this spot should be captured and arrested for prosecution Media stands should be strictly meant for the press men and non pressmen should not be allowed to sit close to the stand to impede their assignments. 9) Chairman of any state F.A that fails to ensure hitch free outing should be suspended for a minimum period of eight matches along with those arrested in connection with such act 10) Each state chairman of Nigeria Referees Association should organize seminars for their fans and Media on the new laws of the game according to FIFA standard Permit me to crave your esteemed indulgence to quote retired Referee *Ameenu Muhammed* who suggested that: "I want to appreciate ur organization, *Sports World* and you in particular for your foresight and insights towards a better league. In the future sir, we could organize a training (awareness programme) for members of the media on the Laws of the Game. This is to ensure that those evaluating decisions of the Referees are equally up to date on the Laws of the Game. For instance, an incidence may occur outside the field of play and the Ref awards a penalty kick. Those who don't know will not understand why it has to be so. An action of a substitute or a team official which interferes with play attracts a direct free kick or penalty kick; a player who is supposed to obtain the Refs permission before re-entering the field did so without such permission. If he interferes with play before the Ref sees and noticed, he shall be cautioned and play restarts with a direct free kick. If this occurs at d time he is about to score or must have scored a goal, it shall be cancelled; and if it occurs in his team's penalty area, *the Ref shall award a penalty against him*. There are so many like that which our teams (players & officials) as well as spectators/sporting media are absolutely ignorant of. In such cases the Refs concerned would be adjudged to have err. Rome was not built in a day, so we can gradually upgrade. Pre-season and mid-season programs could be fashioned out to accommodate awareness project if growth & development is our target". We hereby pass a vote of confidence on the present NFF, LMC and NRA leadership. Thank you and long live Nigeria. Signed *Sunday Agunbiade* |

Say what you know sir. Harvard graduates are getting jobs here in naija. jaychubi: |
Agbim I have no clue where he is. jihday: |
Consistent in the league being second choice in most of his NPFL career or what are we saying here? That he ended up in SE has nothing to do with his expoilt in the local league sir. Please sir, how many season and at which club was he their number for just 2 season while outperforming others? I'm talking facts here sir. I'm not saying he's totally bad but for anyone to try to pass him across as the best in the league before being chosen is untrue and insulting! What complex criteria sir if I may ask? That the coaches ended up picking him is not a yardstick of being the best, they have their reasons which being the best in the league isn't one. I'm not here to say they should drop him for anybody in the league at this time except via injury but not to be sold to the public as the best in the league! Enough said on this. Icon4s: |
Best they arrange local stwards for that, our police force is undermanned, yet you want them.to create a unit out it them? We currently have like 1:650 police to civilian ratio if not more self. Mickael2: |
There is no "what if" here. I used the word "hours", meaning I have watched hours of Ezenwa in SE colors. Icon4s:There hasn't been any 45 mins of Ezenwa that gave me confidence. |
House, has Enyeama sorted his club issues? |
The 45 mins of Uzoho I saw gave me more confidence than all the hours of Ezenwa I have seen. If emotion is eliminated, it can be seen clearly. Icon4s: |
No sir, he's the one Alloy Agu chose based on his own "experience". Have never been the best in the league. Not in any season since he's been in the league. Hence the word "luck working for him". Only saving grace I have is that the coach even knows this, hence the reason he's shopping for a number one in Enyeama or groom Uzoho and the other small boy for the position. Is he totally bad? No, but are there better GKs in the league than him? Yes, even in CHAN, those on the bench will floor him given same opportunity! Saying Ezenwa is the best in the league is an insult to the real hardworking ones ignored. Too bad in life, most times the best are ignored (especially in Nigeria lol) Rohr is never confident with Ezenwa and unfortunately it's too late for him to try any new hands from the league. (Only hope is Uzoho or if Enyeama gets his acts together.) Icon4s: |
Ezenwa is not the best in he NPFL, I can prove this to anyone who cares to discuss this. His luck is working for him and that's all to it. Icon4s: |
I never said connection doesn't. You said private uni, is Harvard not private? charliboy654: |
jaychubi:Are you sure it has nothing to do with the uni? A Harvard graduate would get more attention than a graduate from an unknown uni. Forget connection for now, University you attended has its own benefits. |
I'm beginning to doubt all these news emanating all of a sudden. Alot of people are using "herdsmen" as cover-up to perpetuate evil. Secondly, the media is using same to sell their news. I'm not saying herdsmen aren't attacking people or haven't attacked or killed people but some of these incidents are impersonations. |
This is stale sir and has been existing for more than 15 years now. Banishment, points deduction, fines and suspension. All these aren't new. kennysville: |
I never said it didn't happen, all I said remains, most of what people use in judging the league are incidence that happened pre-LMC. Do they still happen? Yes but as rare as possible. In a complete league season under LMC, we get to witness less than 8 of such unlike before that we witness more than 25. I hope you're getting my angle? So when people talk about the league, I simply ask them if it's the ones that happened years ago or the few ones happening of recent. We should understand that bad habits don't die overnight, it takes time for rehabilitation take effect. It will take time before Nigerians (your fellow citizens) grow up and become civilized so as to view football as entertainment and not war. Humility017: |
Nooo o.. those that died or suffering permanent disabilities got nothing in return. Let Nigerians get civilized and stop risking the lives of our officials. Icon4s: |
Redundant staff, they won't leave and won't allow capable hands take over. When sacked, they join the noise makers insulting the govt. Nigerians! Mickael2: |
This is under LMC so which club is it? Mickael2: |
BidBam:Rauf is not a bad governor, just an over ambitious governor with big plans for a small state with small cash/resources. |
I dey wait for you to show me stats na abi na me go prove your statement ni lol Mickael2: |
Old story abi or recent? If recent, which northern club because most of them always get served once reported. Mickael2: |
