Leaders can't be bad without the permission of the people in a democracy. If he's bad and still there, then it's the people that caused it. A good leader can't also lead if the followers are bad. In Nigeria, civil servants are the biggest looters. Quote me anywhere and anytime. We have less than 1k leaders and more than 15 millions civil servants. Do the math. lexy2014: |
That greedy arrogant country! seunny4lif: |
Libya is hot. Can we beat Rwanda today? BascoVanVeli: |
I don't get. Buhari has a ranch already and his cattle/animals are always in his ranch, how come other fulanis or cattle owners dont have the same? Can't the president encourage those who can to get ranch? As for those states kicking against ranches in their states, do you love blood or what? |
Why can't this countries return back to being one? Like the old west and east Germany? |

Hopefully we will have more MFMs, UBAH etc in the NPFL in the next 5-10 years. Once we have more private owners in the league, things will get more professional just as we have it in the banking and telecommunications sector BascoVanVeli: |
More reason why I said the followers make the leaders. You can't be a leader without followers and if your followers don't obey what you say, then you are as useless as P in psychology. You have to have people before you can be a leader. It's from the people leaders come from, not the other way round. lexy2014: |
Na..don't be lazy, find that out yourself from where you buy! lexy2014: |
They are not supposed to share it but to burn them. That's their rule of engagement so that alone is not an incentive Lol leaders are only few on number, it's the people below that actually run the country, not really the leaders. Ask me why Let me give you this analogy. You're told stealing is corruption and if you steal and you're caught, you go to jail. (What the leaders said). Those who will exceute this law aren't the leaders but the ones below (followers/civil servants), these people end up conniving with the culprit, derive another means of stealing without the leaders knowing and even if the leaders know, if he sacks those involved, the new one will still continue doing it. Those you see being caught are the ones who didn't do the biddings of these civil servants/followers. Until we understand that Nigeria is not working not because of the leaders but for the followers, what power does a leader in a democracy have without the people/followers? lexy2014: |
Katsina utd think on a good day or neutral ground they can beat Kano pillar without playing well! BascoVanVeli: |
You didn't know this? Now go inside, check the sack of rice you have at home, should find the information there. lexy2014: |
What the government need to do now is ban anything rice coming from Cotonu. Promise all customs officers posted to the borders of Benin republic with mouth watering incentives by the amount of smuggled rice recovered. lexy2014:Issue is that the increase is as a result Nigerians changing the direction of where the rice come in from. Nigerians and cunny cunny. It's in the blood. Build your own mba, chop the ones the few of your own are building Mba. But always ready to chop what other countries are building! Lazy thinkers! |
ATTACK ON REFEREES The attention of the Nigeria Referees Association, NRA, has been drawn to unpalatable incidents trailing the kick off of the NPFL. In the Week One matches played on Saturday and Sunday, the referees who were on duty in some centres received pockets of unsavoury treatment that poses danger to the lives of the match officials in the games ahead . The referees' body who is keenly monitoring the situation by following the cases of the victims, sympathises with their injured members involved while expecting that the report of the incidents will be sent to appropriate quarters for further actions. Preliminary reports have it that while there was a minor attempt to maltreat the referees who handled the league opener in Katsina; Katsina Utd vs Kano Pillars, the Nassarawa Utd vs Plateau Utd clash turned awry for the referees who were seriously brutalised leading to a disturbing health conditions. The NRA regrets that despite the appeal by its leadership led by Tade Azeez for all stakeholders to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship and refrain from making referees their scapegoats after unfavourable outcome, attacks on match officials heralded the new season. According to the NRA President, Tade Azeez who expressed reservation over the ominous signs, the threats and mischievous tendencies against referees cannot stop NRA members from being fair and firm in the course of discharging their duties. Tade once again appealed to the organisers, state FAs, clubs and spectators to assist referees with a conducive environment to operate for the good of the game. National Publicity Secretary, NPS NRA The refs and officials are always at the receiving end of bad play from the home clubs. You don't play well to win yet expect the ref not to be fair and just. This is for those who think the refs are the problems of the league (or part of). Katsina and Nassarawa should be ready to pay fines and also be ready to play their home matches either behind closed doors or on neutral grounds. |

2017/2018 NPFL; REFEREES ASSURE STAKEHOLDERS As the Nigeria Premier League kicks off this weekend for the 2017/18 football season, the Nigera Referees Association,NRA has assured that members of the body involved in the Officiating will employ best practices in the course of discharging their duties. President of the NRA, Tade Azeez made this disclosure while reeling out preparations by the whistle men and women for the new season. According to Tade, the leadership of the Association has extracted heartwarming promises from the FIFA and elite referees that consitute the list of match Officials in the premier league to not only maintain free, fair and firm Officiating but also give in their best during the season. "We are promising to parade the best hands among the active referees to ensure organisers, clubs and spectators are happy. We have done the necessary pre Season training programs to tune up our referees for the challenges ahead" "It might interest followers of the league that the Referee Assessor introduced two years ago has been sustained for the development of Nigeria referees" Tade added. The NRA president who expressed happiness with the football house, the Nigera Football Federation, NFF for continuous support to the referees' body noted that the NRA is working in strategic partnership with the NFF Referees Committee for quality driven Officiating throughout the session. He therefore requested the state FAs, host teams and their supporters to imbibe the spirit of sportmanship and refrain from making match officials scape goats of their teams misfortune by assuring that the Association will sanction any referee found wanting in acts calpable of bringing the game to disrepute. Meanwhile, FIFA badged Sani Mohameed of Kaduna referees Council will be at the centre with others from the State for the North West derby signalling the opening of the league in Katsina involving Katsina Utd vs Kano Pillars. Others are Adamu Kabiru, police ASP and Moses Ojo, a Peace Corps officer as Assistant Referees 1 and 2 respectively. Fourth Official is Ishaya Patrick, a teacher. In the top of the cracker in Uyo; Akwa United vs Rangers, three FIFA referees Quadri Adebimpe (LG), Abel Baba ( KG) Olajide Usman (OY) and Segun Onowaye will take charge of proceeding while newly badged FIFA referee from the Niger State council Abubakar Abdulahi leads other international officials; Tejiri Digbori (DT) and Mimisen Iyorhe (BN) for the Lafia game where Nassarawa United host League winners, plateau united.
