Google search engine is a SEARCH ENGINE, facebook is a SOCIAL NETWORK, two different things.. this Allo app is a not even popular phase that will fade out in weeks, I already uninstalled mine, kept it for 3days not a single friend on there.. deleted.

how exactly did Google deal a heavy blow on Apple? Have Google ever outsold Apple in anything? Dude google didn't end bbm, whatsapp did. Know that MARK NSUKABAG owns facebook, whatsapp , instagram, Oculus VR , wave sound, surreal vision,and last i checked, these apps already got billions of subscribers and users so this allo would need a miracle to even basically allow downloaders keep it for more than 4 days without deleting it from their phone.

This only happens when users who can't even write a single code to detect if a word should be censored within an app or not argue and discuss the future and failure of an app before they even get it yet..

Lack of full is allo biiggest killer...in case u dont know: whatsapp and skype are already testing their messenger with sms.and u know what dat means? Allo is already dead.apples fans are already engrossed into imessage...why would one dwload duo and allo when skype or whatsapp can do better than d two combined...

By d way,google wont even launch desktop version because of hatred it has for microsoft.even hangout never had,xcept web version.that action will be another deal breaker for allo enthusiats.

Yes but if you know google well then you would know they cover virtually every angle in tech. They are presently working on Lyft to battle Uber. You can look up vids on YouTube to know more about these sick guys. They actually put their R& into things and aren't scared of failing.

Google has YouTube and it's really nice, they have android, well no comment on this one. They have gmail, which I honestly love more than yahoo mail, they have the search assistant google itself and it is top notch..


This allo should just borrow telegram's features, then make the app the default must have messaging app on android, then watch allo sow higher than every other messaging app. But this really isn't even what any user needs from google now, rather they should give to the public those things the public might really need, and not social apps, when we have a bunch of those known and unknown littering the STORES. Trust me this allo thing would be a failure like hangout was.

Social platform isn't a Google thing like they have had bad past from acquiring meebo and killing it to photovine, Google plus et al. But I like their spirit of fighting. These two apps are pretty good but they came late to the party. It's better late than never and you never know cos Google might just have a spin with these new guys.

hopefully they do.. but that technology is the very least of what users actually need now.

What really would i need this for again? When i have iMessage , whatsapp, instagram, twitter, skype, vine.. this allo thing will just be a space killer on my phone. Google should work on something much better and not social apps. Something like collaborating with oems world wide to watch YouTube videos unlimitedly or cheaper.

you misunderstood my on contract. He gets the phone the universal unlocked for me, then i pay him on contract (it's personal between us).. not that he would be getting it on contract with apple. He buys it from the store at the normal price it was pegged at and not from 3rd party shops or stores who hike their prices.. i brought up my mode of purchasing because you posted pics of stores already hiking up their prices.

not my friend but my relative, he won't be buying it for me because of the contract deal, he will be buying it for me due to the dollar naira thing.. and it's a part of the reason why I ain't rushing yet.. October!

I never said updating to ios 10 isn't possible. I simply stated some peeps are encountering issues and T mobile informed her subscribers using those phones not to update yet

alright bro! . Obviously those encountering the issue are updating via OTA, its always advisable to restore any new full overhaul Update, than getting it OTA. But it's all good.

Well you are wrong. Some users as presently experiencing issues and CEO John Legere, and CTO Neville Ray told users of iPhone 6, 6plus and 5SE not to update. Apple should get their acts together regarding software update. It's just few devices yet every update causes one or two issues.
