Boko Haram insurgents have again attacked Kukawa town in Kukawa Local Government Area of Borno State, killing many civilians, who returned to the community last week, military sources have told SaharaReporters.

The Nigerian Army had some weeks ago claimed it embarked on clearance operations within Baga and Kukawa in Northern Borno with a view to enabling a safer environment for returning residents.
