So tell me who did Ademoyega kill
your devil's advocacy dosent hold water. Try again.

lygn19: LoL...is it not a shame that this same ppl that just one experience with d white men were able to become dominant in a matter of 30years, becoming one of d most educated tribe, the most dominant tribe in economy, d tribe that other tribes became jealous of the u cudnt mention the word success without mentioning and Igbo man, so much that ppl that had been with the white men for over a hundred years had to declare free education in there region just to catch up-
SHAME
i feel u bro. This pix is a humble reminder of the innocent days in some igbo villages where adolesence was not exploited nor abused.

It disgusts me dat some genetically promiscous yorubas mock dis pix.

Tell us who the Yoruba man killed. I listed the people killed by your murderous uncles who invited our wrath on your land
was ademoyega not a major actor in d coup, yes or no?!

ilugunboy: Your naïveté is quiet profound....you keep mentioning human conscience in the same sentence with war.

Knock sense into your head....the sad reality is that those two words don't go together! undecided
*mumu, for your info, they go together, you just wont get it. ....and pls, its 'quite' not 'quiet', go and read your pry6 english textbook.*

ilugunboy: But bullets don't necessarily discriminate in war.....

War is evil...it should be the last to be contemplated by humans to resolve conflict....people ..innocent people get killed in war.

That is the nature of it.
in other words, you fought d war without any human conscience in you....i said it, satans like u make this country a pariah state. Am outta here bozo.

Alfa Sleazier....going to war is not bravery you aren't prepared for isn't bravery...but utter foolishness....stop listening to what your uncles told you alone...read it up!
YOU SHUT UP! We were prepared, however satans like you went after women and children instead of soldiers. Heroes indeed!

ilugunboy: Will you just keep quiet!

Answer my question or get the fvck Otta of here with your emotional crap. How many people do you think would have balanced the equation? 1:1.?

In as much as nobody will support prgrom..genocide or whatever name you fancy to term it... the universal accepted truth or axiom is, action always bring reaction...the enormity of which the actors can't determine.

So if you are expecting sympathy from anyone for actions of some clearly misguided band of lawless officers of the Ibo tribe....sorry.
i didnt know u were dis callous and satanic. Trying to defend your god's atrocities. How can we ever be one as a nation? Arrogant fool. Today no nation can regard your nigeria because of satans like you. Next time when you are spitted on by a perceived enemy (which includes your brother helping to effect it) pour a keg of acid on ALL OF THEM okay? Bigoted savage.

dayokanu: Empty rants

Once you do the initial action The opponent can do whatever he likes to retaliate.

Palestinians kids throw stones and Qassam rockets Israel launch back missiles. Why didnt you tell Israel to throw stones back at them

When Japan bombed Pearl Harbour, US responded with Atomic weapons why didnt you tell them to simply bomb a Japanese harbour

If you have any questions direct it to your murderous uncles who politicians murdered pregnant women on their bed
oh...so america has become your cover up? Shame on you! Very heroic indeed! A civil war is meant to preserve a nation isnt it? Yet u boast about d atrocities of genocide IN THE SAME COUNTRY! A world war is never a civil war, and even at that, in this age of enlightement, no country boasts of commiting genocide.

Mind u, a yoruba man was part of d coup. Northern corporals were with nzeogwu when he carried out d coup, it wasnt an all igbo affair. You cant rewrite history.
PoliticsRe: Obasanjo In Aba During The Nigerian Civil-War (Picture) by SonOfEl(m): 8:20am On Dec 01, 2013
Ola Johnson: Wole Soyinka has said it but you foolishly refused to learn; what happened during the war wasn't genocide because both sides, Biafra and Nigeria, killed each other. You can only term what happened before the war in 1966 as a genocide, though you call it a pogrom. Meanwhile, the Nobel Laureate also said, "bluff is no substitute for bullets."
keep quoting your nobel sweetheart like a child runs to d back of her mums apron. U commit genocide, ho har!

ilugunboy: When you spit into my face.....I can decide to give you a punch that can blind you....

You can't determine my reaction by asking me to spit back into your face.

Chew in that.
u are irredeemably backward...reducing d greatest holocaust meted on women and children in d 20th century to ur myopic analogy. You should have made such boasts on soldiers, nt over 2million children. Shame on you.

xtervaganza: Before you open your mouth and call we Yorubas unprintable names; ask yoursel, who started this war? Who was the aggressor? Who started the killing and warpath? Don't get me wrong, I would be the happiest person on earth if this country breaks and we go our seperate ways.... Nigeria as it stands is already a nation, we should go our seperate ways only we'll appreciate each other better.

But if u want to call Obasanjo a coward, someone who has ruled this country 3 times, the man who has faced life and death situations much more than all Nl members combined then you should ask yourself: who in my family has ever reached Obasanjo's height as a man
answer: my pet dog.

To him whom much is given, much is expected. OBJ is a monumental failure.

ilugunboy: grin grin grin

Like Wole Soyinka once admonished the Ikeeba wuruwuru prior to his thoughtless war and which we always reminds you people.....bluff is not substitute for bullets.
...an excuse for cowards in disguise. You wont fight one that openly attacks your home because you dnt have a superior weapon. First class cowards!

dayokanu: Bello was killed by Nzeogwu, Akintola was killed by Nwobosi, Balewa was killed by Ifeajuna, Okotie-boh was killed by Anuforo, Ademulegun was killed by Onwuatuegwu, Mailmalari was killed by Ifeajuna

Mention who killed Unegbe and hold him responsible.

We hold the kinsmen of Ifeajuna, Anoforo, Onwuatuegwu and Nwobosi responsible
now u have proven to us how animalistic u and your satanic kinsmen on this thread are. If d politicians and their families were killed, why not do d same for d igbos? Instead u celebrated a progrom against igbos and went further with genocide. It only shows u all had a hidden agenda against igbos. Putrid souls. Later u claim to be the most 'educated' and 'civilized' tribe ...my foot.

Nemesis has befallen gowon (fulanis roasting his pple in plateau state), muritala(wasted with bullets), adekunle(dumped and now mentally derailed), awolowo(died unfulfilled, an ex convict and never smelled the number 1 seat he craved and killed babies for), OBJ is now considered a political failure.

Finally, see d nigeria they killed for 40yrs ago- a failed state. Cover your heads in shame!

Okija_juju: Lol!

When I tell my people to avoid conversations about that war, people no go hear.. Genocide! Hmmmm... I reserve my comment because if I speak objectively, it always affects my chances at becoming Eze Ndigbo..n grin

Please you all should stop with this war gist. I can almost bet that none of us were alive during that war. The events preceeding that war is too plenty for any of us to fully understand.

Please this thread should be closed.. I just buried my grandmother this year. That woman lost 4 sons in one of the Aba bombing raids.. Some of the comments here makes light of the sacrifices that people made in that war. My Grandfather was not a politician. Most of those that died were not politicians or in the military.

The earlier we stop this kinds of discussions, the better for us all. After we the commoners had all died, starved, fallen ill, etc, the main actors in the war reconciled. Ojukwu got a clean presidential pardon, benefitted in many ways from the same government he led us to fight. Awolowo lived large till he died, Gowon didn't lose a single child in that war, infant, they all came together to compete against each other to rule us.

I'm not a coward, but I will not fight any war..

This thread does nothing to honor the men, women, children and co that died as a result of a senseless war.

And when you speak of Genocide.. I say, all is fair in war.. Lets move on. #My opinion.
sorry dude, all is not fair in war. Nigeria will never progress until indifferent souls like you get exorcised. You tales n opinion contradicts each other. I smell a rat.

Like Soyinka said
cowardice in disguise. What ended d war was not ur superior guns and jets, it was d pain of watching our children being genocidially starved to death, at what price? Oil rich bakassi peninsula agreement btw nig and cameroon.

ibrokola: Don't change the topic! We are talking about what led to the attacks of the Igbos in the North and the Civil War because you guys are so good at forgeting that you caused the war and are quick to call other Nigerian troops child killers! You even celebrate the man who sent his own family out of Nigeria b4 war and left your women and children to suffer and then after leading your sons to their death in the Theatre of War, like the coward that he is, he took to his heels and ran out of the country!!! Yet you celebrate him! Please how do you even reason?
My heart goes out the all the casualties of the senseless war, may they Rest In Peace!
NIGERIA MUST REMAIN UNITED!!!
my friend shut up! Every reasonable pundit knew FG started d war against biafra, and we fought back in defense. I wonder why there are no history classes in our high schools.

dayokanu: Does getting full honors in 2013 stopped him from being a coward in 1970?

He started a war, they brought it to him and he fled the war. What act of cowardice should be more than that
d thought of him stil being alive gave ur 'generals' sleepless nights. IBB once said dat unlike d igbos, if d yorubas shd make trouble, he wud stil sleep peacefully on his bed. Yorubas are d real cowards.
