Hello Everyone,

I am here to share my own testimony,
Application submitted March 12th Gckey portal
Medicals June 15th
Medicals done July 5th
I got my PPR on 11/15/22

I just want to mention that your LOE is the foundation of any application. and i am grateful for to God for connecting me with @Technix . I was here the whole of February trying to get information and asking lots of questions, mostly scared because i was self sponsored with the support of my sister who was a Canadian PR. On one question i asked @Technix reached out to me explaining how to go about it. It marveled me because he was so detailed in his explanation, at that point I decided to share my fears with him and sent him a draft of my LOE. He went through it and edited it, he was able to explain my situation better . When I read the edited copy of my LOE I knew my application was about to be a testimony. I am grateful for meeting you. Thanks a bunch for all the help. I will recommend reaching out to him if you were like me that was doubtful and full of fear. wishing everyone here success in there Journey. Canada here we come

Yes you can, just ensure you go with your study permit and enrolment letter ( you can also go with transcripts and any other documents you feel maybe needed) because they will ask for it. I did this too a few years back because I didn’t want to apply for PGWP twice since they will only give me for the validity of my passport .

Thank you so much. This is what I was looking for. I just sent you a dm please

My (renewed) drivers license was not ready when I was leaving Nigeria. I asked a friend to help collect it and send via courier when it was ready. And it was intact when I received it. This was late 2019, though.
thank you so much. Which courier service did you use please

I'd advise you convert and keep in a dorm account in naija. come with some cash, open account here and do transfer. Just to avoid drama with naija officials n having to declare. I did same, also printed account statement, at the entry point, when I was asked I explained I had cash and the rest in account, was about showing account statement, the lady asked me to go.

You can change program, but it won't be a bad idea to contact the nursing school. Most if not all nursing programs in Canada would have a waitlist that could be atleast 1 year long. Some won't even accept non-PRs or non-Citizens for admissions due to the popularity of nursing programs.

My fellow Canadian comrades,

My application just got approved, planing on traveling November for winter session,

My worry is that I want to change my course of study to nursing. Please house help me with guidelines on how to do this.

Can I do a change in my school

If not please suggest schools with low tuition fee and the process to getting admitted

Current LOA is health science, uni of Regina

Mother Google is tired of me already, I really need to know my stand, thanks in anticipation of your response

Thank you

Nope, not true. Anyone who graduates from an eligible post-secondary institution anywhere in Canada is eligible for a Postgraduate Work Permit (PGWP) as long as he did not violate the terms of his study permit. The duration of the PGWP depends on the duration of your studies in Canada.
what about undergraduate

I understand the outcome of your medicals would be updated at ur online account within 3-5 days. But on when your trv will be approved, CIC is the most unpredictable organization ive ever known. Lol

Hi, have you received an update yet?

Did you apply online or paper route?
If you applied online it will not work at all but paper application submitted at VFS office should work.

I hope this helps.

It's online route can you clarify what you mean by it will not work at all, how do I den track my application. Please revert

Attach your birth certificate in your application. Your birth cert has your mum's name on it, which proves that the sponsor is indeed, your mother.

To be honest there is no document to show, marriage certificate, birth certificate nothing! Don't know want to do please advice

Does your birth certificate carry her maiden name, does she have death certificate of your dad
She can get affidavit if the first question is no.
Add a copy of marriage with the 2nd all these to prove she is your mum.
I stand to be corrected and educated.

I don't have any of the above mentioned documents, my birth certificate is a sworn affidavit I did 2 months back, just worried

Hello house, am new here,

Please have something bothering me, I need all the experienced people in the house to advice me,

I have my admission, and all my documents are ready for my visa application.

The only thing bothering me is my mum is my sponsor but we don't bear same surname, she never changed her name n my dad is late

Please does this call for worry

I await your responses
