@ his_grace Was that meant to be a joke? I do not appreciate such. So you mean it is ok for me to disrespect womanhood by sleeping around because of the weather? If i am cold, i turn on my heater thanks. @all except some, thanks for teaching me all i need to learn. Its actually my first time of doing this distance thing. I do apreciate your advice |
Does this thread include unibuja graduates? |
LMAO ![]() This is really funny. I wish i had a phone, i for don save my guy's number. ![]() |
@stillwater, the last time, he told me he loved me and i did not respond. I honestly don't respond all the time but now it seems to be a big deal. Also, if i remind him of something i seem he must have forgotten, he flares up! When i was in Nigeria, i used to do all these and there was no problem. He was even appreciative of me reminding him about things i think he forgets to do. But now, it feels like one big deal. The last time he got angry, he used the "F" word. Something i have never heard him say. Is my relationship coming to an end? |
Thank you all so much for your advice. As for breaking up with him, i don't have the strength to. These things are easier said than done. @omega25red Thanks for your words. I will try hard to be patient. But honestly, its not easy. Cos to be honest, i might just get frustrated and do what he dreads the most and that is finding someone else. I never knew i was going to experience this |
Please what cycle is this Fatima in? |
I am seeking for advice. My boyfriend is in Nigeria and i am not. Well, i just moved out of Nigeria. SInce i left, we have been quarelling every now and then. I am so confused that i am seriously considering breaking off the relationship but i also feel that is not the best thing to do right now. I know people do this distance thing a lot and don't have issues like i do. I don't know why this is happening to me. ![]() Please help |
the earlier you go to study, the better. I would advise he resigns now. What position in the bank if i may ask? He can go for studies and come back to the bank job and a higher position than what was offered to him. |
Modenine is "In my opinion" the best rapper in Nigeria. His songs are really tight and matured. I heard the guy is 40 sha. Don't know how true it is. you could listen to his music on youtube.com. Just search Mode9. Enjoy ![]() |
ty4real:i am sorry i did not see them. i'd like u to send it again if u do not mind. Or you can post it here. Wetin dey there ![]() |
They always say you will have to wait. They only look into it when the letter from the AIT has not gotten to you 9 weeks after you received the accpetion letter. Also, they send 2. 1 to you and another to the embassy. yours might come first before the BHC receive theirs. Just calculate it and if it is past 9 weeks, mail the home office directly about this and also give them a call quoting your reference number. The BHC cannot do anything about the letter |
This is a very nice story. I was just wondering who took all those pictures. Cos it looked too real. I have heard of this sort of things before but never believed it. He was so lucky But sha the guy was still complaining of salary when he still had a better life. |
@ Ty4real U know i wouldn't have been so successful without your help. How far with your? I have not seen you online since then. What is going on? Send me a mail if you can't reply |
thanks for the info. I am in glasgow at the moment. I will be applying from here but transcript and others are still gonna come from Nigeria. OK you know i just saw athabasca as a grad school. didn't know it was for distance learning progs. i guess the post graduate diploma should be my option right now. Please inform me if you know about any post-graduate dip info. let me loot at the url u sent to me |
well, i was thinking of a post-graduate but it is not stated there. I just see masters. I am not too good with making researches but it says in most of the school sites i have visited that you B.Sc should be a minimum of second class upper division. And i am not in that category. What is the right step to take ,how do i apply and what school will be best for this? |
tipsy289:PLease enlighten me on the admission and visa process from the beginning. |
home1986:How did you get the admission letter? I am just beginning to make my enquiries so right now, i know nothing about it. What school admission letter have you got? Did you have to send your transcript before u were given the letter? |
Ok. I think i am settling down with university of athabasca |
thanks so much for your help. I am looking at all the schools now but have not decided. but most of them say i can obtain admission if my GP from my first degree is 3.0 points. Is there anyhting like a post-graduate diploma? what do i do? |
was this a face-to-face interview? Cos they don't do that in nigeria again. besides, i just got a working holiday visa and it was by post |
I have been trying to make enquiries about students visa for masters but it seems most of the people i know that are in the US are either citizens, have green cards or got their student visa for their first degree. Can anybody help me on the procedure? Where do i start from? I tried getting the visit visa to make inquiries myself about 2 years ago but i got rejected ![]() Do i start from doing the GRE exams or i have to get an admission letter first. Also, a friend of mine told me that to study in canada, i do not need GRE. Which country is better to study and less stress of visa procedure? |
UBA staff are all so unfriendly. is that one of their rules? it seems to be everywhere zenith is good |
I think they are kind of immature. I had mine done on my breaast and back when i was highly immature and now i regret it so much. I am almost getting married and am still hiding it from my mother-in-law. cos i am sure she would not like her grand child to be fed with a marked breast ![]() |
Taxes have got to be paid man!! you don't expect a responsible orgnisation to tell the pubic how much tax they paytry virgin nigeria.the price is very good |
i understand. You can contact me through my email though. We can talk better about it afterwards |
OK!!! After i pasted this thread and reading what u all wrote, i felt i could do it. I also got a premium number, 33505 which i called almost everyday. I also sent mails to info@ukvac-ng.com. I was not given full details of what i should be careful about. But when i got to the VAC at ikeja to submit my application, i asked a few questions there and i was told that drop-box does not exist anymore and those who have travelled before should provide a minimum of 3 documents otherwise they will be refused visas. I was luck i had 4 so i qualified ![]() i was told to come 14 working days after but i went on the 12th day and it was ready. I have been so happy since then. We suppose wash am o. cos i wan soon de jah ![]() I need to also know why u were refused and what type of visa u applied for. Maybe i could help out as well. Sorry about that though |
@ poster Before you apply again, ensure you give them all necessary ans unnecessary document. Making mistakes of u providing them with office details raise too many questions. Give them your bank statement, payslip, letter of invitation, proof of address from invitee(very important), even proof that u are getting married soon like IV or anything, letter from ur office, etc. There are so many other documents u should try to provide. Depends on the real reason. You can also say u want to search for a good school and pay part of it. Please do not apply for students visa direct o. its easier thru visit first Good luck |
I thank you all. Especially you ty4real. My visa just came out yesterday and i was given 2years working holiday. God bless you all. God bless Nairaland. What on earth would i have done without you. For all of you that contributed to this success of mine, I just wan ti say God will bless u all abundantly. |
In the Bible, there was no such thing as traditional or DHurch wedding. It was just WEDDING that was said. And i believe that if you want God to be in your midst, just ask and he will be there. So i will say that there is no such thing as Traditional is not done in the presence of the Lord. Church wedding is just an English thing. It is by Choice that you do it. Sex after marriage is the right thing, not sex after traditional or White marriage. Marriage is recognized by God. +osisi, carry on chopping ![]() |
