ThatKING:Hmmm not true o. Writers can fall in love but one thing is that most writers are too dedicated in their work. It becomes an obsession. |

sweettease:You’re very right. Online relationship scares me but at the end of the day, don’t we meet strangers physically? |
Nothing beats the butterflies you feel in the deepest part of your tummy when you see that person you like. You know, your heart beat increases; you are shy to even look into their eyes. You can’t help it. But do you feel that way when it’s someone you met online? Someone you probably didn’t hit things off on a “dating level.” You know what I mean right? Okay. Picture this: you talk to someone about a business and the only thing you’ve ever discussed with them is business. That’s the point of your relationship and then you delve into their personal space and begin to develop feelings for them. Is it right for you to call them and instead of discussing business, you want to know what they’ve eaten or what they like to do during their leisure time? Now, don’t even go there. Don’t tell me you’ve fallen in love with them. You’ve not even met that person neither have you discussed something other than business!!! So, how the hell did you fall in love with them?! Because even if you are infatuated by their looks, is it right and normal to keep the calls going even when they ask you to stop? A fan’s excitement over seeing their favorite novels on the big screen can be very overwhelming — especially for a teenager. After waiting so long to see a novel imagined into a film, spending time analyzing it is perfectly normal. So enough of my rambling…. let’s get started! Daniel and Natasha,The Sun is Also A Star This is more like “love at first sight.” He was attracted to everything about Natasha, from her big hair and the way she danced. She also almost got knocked down by a car and Daniel saved her and things got interesting between these two. The problem was, Natasha has only few hours because by night, she’d be deported back to Jamaica. Ethan and Lena, Beautiful Creatures First Encounter: Lena, the new girl in school, turns up in Ethan’s English class — though he soon realizes that he’s been having dreams about her for weeks. A few days later, he almost hits her with his car. Naturally, sparks fly. Defining Moment: Ethan has dinner with Lena’s crazy family — half of whom are good witches (or ”Casters”), half wicked witches. There’s a fight, and Ethan ends up fainting… perhaps because Lena has just called him her boyfriend for the first time. Relationship Challenges: When Lena turns 16, she may or may not become an evil sorceress, which is sort of a buzzkill. Also, Casters can’t physically consummate relationships with mortals without killing them. Why They Work: Initially, Lena and Ethan bond over their shared nature as outsiders; she doesn’t belong in static Gatlin, S.C., and he yearns to leave the town for bigger and better things. Eventually, they learn that they’re essentially the reincarnations of a pair of doomed lovers from the Civil War era — which makes their pairing nothing short of destiny. still here by esosa kola do you ever remember some things and wished you’d done them differently? like the time you cooked a meal and it didn’t turn out well. like the time someone shouted at you but you couldn’t defend yourself. like the time you hurt someone and wished you’d take it back. lila wished things didn’t end this way with daniel. and that’s why her fingers hover on the dial button as heaviness settles in her throat. it’s hard to breathe when anytime from now, she’d drop down on her knees and cry. just maybe if she gets this off her chest like ms. sola, the therapist advised, everything will be better. lila knows it won’t but she has to try. try to revisit her past. try to heal. try to… move on? lila swallows the lump in her throat, her stomach twisting. call him. lila strolls to her bed, fingers clutched around her phone. the pain deep in her heart is like a spider web, intricate & strong. what will she say? “sorry for letting you down?” “sorry for betraying you?” lila rolls over her back and stares at the ceiling. the darkness slowly becomes distorted from the tear blurring her eyes. when things were great, she’d switch off the light, sit by the window & watch the stars. she’d call daniel and describe the view… he’d laugh at her. “what kind of nigerian watches the stars?” he’d ask. but now, everything is bleak, dark with nothing but pain tugging at her heart. she lets the pain eat deep as she tastes her salty tears. her lips tremble as she wraps her arm around herself, breathing in and out sharply. if he hadn’t seen her that night… if she never tried to get his attention… or tried to get back at him. if he never left the party with anger. then…an apology would’ve made sense. daniel would still be here. and not 6ft under the ground.
