Deadlytruth: Obasanjo won in 1999 without the votes of the entire South, so your threat of SS and SE rejection of Tinubu is not efficacious as long as Tinubu has his SW and wins the North where he is rightly currently doing the underground work even more than Atiku. SS and SE also voted against Buhari in both 2015 and 2019 but with the SW and North in his bag, he won. I therefore think you should be more concerned about how Tinubu will fare in the North than in the SS and SE which usually record the lowest voter turnout. The political terrain in 1999 and now is entirely different. A local champion in the person of Tinubu is trying to beat a former vice president who comes from the North whose population of voters dwarfs the south. |

Deadlytruth: Well, unlike you, I am not making any claim with certainty. So I should be the one asking you to remain around with your pen till then for claiming with 100% certainty that Tinubu will lose. Yes...the records are there from where i draw my inference. He is losing the south south and south east except a miracle happens. |

Deadlytruth: You said and I quote "No one ever did that before 2015"
Had it been you wrote "No one even did that since 1999", this shift in position by you would have cut it. But even at that, nothing makes this political dispensation special because the instances I sighted were equally had under democratic eras. Then most importantly, as far as no Southerners sat on a roundtable in 1999 to agree on an all-South political solidarity henceforth, your theory of separation of situations and circumstances is watered down completely. No time frame or change in circumstances is too long or much to pay people back for their earlier wrong else you too wouldn't have been talking about paying back a wrong Tinubu "did" to you in 2015 which is a whooping seven years ago now under a totally different circumstance. Tinubu never signed any eternal agreement with any Southerner on political solidarity. The likes of Amaechi even came out openly to fight Jonathan dirty yet he is currently being promoted for president by some youths of the SS and you are okay with it. Enough of the epistle man! Tinubu is on the cards in the next year election. Please watchout for the South south and South East votes. If Tinubu fails to win the North against Atiku a northerner, then its over for his lifetime ambition. I guess you will still be around with your pen full of ink for these long epistles. |

Parachoko: I and majority of Southerners do not feel any way about Tinubu candidacy
2011 election, Jonathan won
He lost in 2015
Just because Atiku won the whole states in the South South in 2019, it does not mean he will win all the states in the South South in 2023.
I can even argue the APC will win base on the 2019 election. But election is not done like that.
But I can assure you, we no send Atiku for her at all, you have not even tell me any sane reason why Atiku should be voted
We In the South South won't vote base on hate or sentiments in 2023.
Well, 2023 is close by, no long talk.
You will know why there is a saying, Election is not won online. In 2015....south south and south East voted same pattern. 2019...south south and south East voted same pattern. I wasn't the one who campaigned for them to vote this way before and i cant convince you to vote Atiku. Only those who do not want that pattern of voting to continue have all the work to do. But i am sure my southern people no dey disappoint. We no dey condole betrayal. We know when to pay back. |

Deadlytruth: Per the bolded, I want to believe you are just trying to be politically correct. So the Edwin Clark who, by his own confession, started the game of forging political alliances with the North against the South is not a Southerner? The Azikiwe and Okotie-Eboh who pioneered, in a post colonial Nigeria, the act of a rejecting the proposed all-South alliance aimed at crushing the North's born to rule philosophy in the bud wasn't a Southerner? The same Azikiwe who repeated it in 1979 through his last minute pull out of the proposed UPN-NPP alliance for the NPN-NPP alliance which saw Alex Ekueme becoming Shagari's running mate wasn't a Southerner? Then Arthur Nzeribe who helped Gowon import arms which the Federal side used to fight Biafran soldiers and kill millions of innocent civilians during the war was not a Southerner? Then the likes of Daniel Kanu, Artthur Nzeribe and Uche Chukwumerijie who worked with Abacha to kill June 12 actualization were all Northerners, right? Why are you wasting your comedy talents online when the likes of I go Die and Teju Babyface are smiling to the banks with millions everyday with their dry and inferior jokes to yours? Sorry man! The principles that comes to play in a democracy and autocratic regime are different. The Nigerian political landscap from 1999 till now is different from before 1999. |

Deadlytruth: The analogy you are trying to draw here doesn't exist because in the national level politics, there is nothing like South. What we have always had since even before independence were; 1. The Present SE and SS colluding with the North to hound and spite the SW
2. The SW too colluding with the North to do exactly same to the present SE and SS. It was only in 2011 that for the first time there was a semblance of an all-South alliance and it was the SW that sacrificed for it by ditching their own party's candidate, Ribadu, to vote for Jonathan who ended up alienating the SW on getting to power hence the SW paid him back by going with the North in 2015. Yea...Forming alliance is not a bad political movement in itself in a democracy. But those who form alliance shouldn't cry foul and should be ready for the harvest of their actions. Tinubu shouldn't expect victory from the South south and south East in 2023. As far as the south is concerned, if Tinubu is in the cards, he lost the southern states already except the southwest. Let him win the North against Atiku the next political force in the North after Buhari. |

Parachoko: I'm talking of 2023 when is going to be between a Southerner in the APC and Atiku, you're talking about 2019
There is no sure votes for Atiku in the South South in 2023.
Atiku will struggle to get 55% in the South South in 2023. Go write am down.
The only way the PDP would perform far better than the APC in 2023 is to present a candidate from the South South, anything from that, Atiku and the PDP will learn through the hard way. Stop talking trash! If Atiku could claim all the states in the south south in 2019 against an incumbent Buhari , how will Tinubu fare? Except you are a political novice, you should be aware about how the rest of the south feels about Tinubu's ambition. |

Parachoko: See, know this and have peace of mind
The South South won't vote massively for Atiku. Go and check the useless scores Jonathan was having in the North East and North West.
All the talk of betraying by Tinubu does not hold any water for me
Is just a dumb talk for me
Tinubu and Jonathan were never in the same party, only people with low IQ keeps on talking about Tinubu betraying Jonathan.
The voting results are there for everybody to see. Jonathan lost in the North East and North West in 2011 and 2015
Atiku left Jonathan in 2011 after losing the primary, instead of him to work with Jonathan. Is Atiku not a member of APC in 2015?
So why should I vote Atiku?
We go shock you Atiku supporters in 2023. Please stop wasting your time and check the 2019 election results. Here is how the South east and south south voted in 2019.

Parachoko: Is Atiku not a PDP member? So you are expecting the South South to vote Atiku who never supported Jonathan even though they were in the same party? You must be a joker man.
On what basis should the South South even vote for Atiku from the North East? The people of the North East didn't vote Jonathan in 2011 and 2015. Is this about North/South or APC/PDP? You are the joker here! In the 2019 elections, who did the South south and south East vote for? Use your brain if you have one. The South south and South East will follow same pattern as in 2019. We wont vote someone who betrayed us. |

Parachoko: The South South will pay back people like Atiku who worked against Jonathan in 2011 too. Or you didn't know Atiku betrayed Jonathan?
If PDP present Atiku, then APC will rule till 2023. Is Atiku from the south? Did Atiku engineer an alliance between the North and a part of the south against Jonathan? No one ever did that until 2015. The same person now is seeking votes from the South south and south East. Only time will tell. |

Is it only insecurity that has gone from bad to worse? If Jonathan wasn't a choice, was an incompetent Buhari an option? The south has not forgotten those who betrayed her and brought Buhari to spite Jonathan. In due time, the South south and South East will pay back. |

Now some are saying that they want o vote another Fulani man to spite Tinubu.. Hope you guys won't start crying Islamization and fulanization thereafter... When Tinubu carry the SW and voted for Buhari against Jonathan a southerner in 2015, did you see any spiting there?
