Eko is from the word Ereko and Ereko Market is still on Lagos Island if you want to Confirm it

Eko Aromire means Aromire's field.in Yoruba

Eko Ajala in Osun State means Ajala's field

Eko Ajala was one of the Locations of the 1878 Yoruba Jalumi War

Erekosun means Island in Yoruba

Benin called Lagos Korame like the early Portuguese who got the Word from the Yoruba Awori who called Lagos Island Eko Aromire (Aromire's field)
