If this forum is a reflection of what Nigerian youths are like. the best you can do for yourself and your family is to get them away from this millions of envious, covetous and mediocre lots. |
Child of Hate. Well done. What contribution have you made to your personal facebook account? At least he/she is providing content and doing a good job at that. Na una same same say Pasuma music is aweful in this same thread, you will still say Davido's voice is froggy, DJ Cuppy is dirty but you all cant point to one fruitful areas of your lives. DSoj: |
I dont quiet agree it is audio investments. The real issue is the wealth and opportunities is not evenly distributed. i am sure the owners of flutterwave and other tech start ups that have done very well will not agree with you too. You can either keep praying for the time it will become evenly spread or you just work and hustle to get into the top tier where it is spread luvinhubby: |
Very apt. J3susFr3ak: |
Me I like am. Its people with siren voice that are always beefing deep voices like this. I bet your voice thin like woman. We real men na so our voice be. Carry go OPScatterscatter: |
I love this. Artistes like Kwam 1, KSA, Pasuma and others have worked hard. There was a time when people said Pasuma was singing crap and they did not accept his sound. The audience wanted him to sound like Barrister or Kolligton and said the likes of him, obesere and saheed osupa were singing songs for touts. The story has changed today. Honestly, If the copyright and music distribution structure in Nigeria was solid, all him kids suppose dey ball on papa's fortune like MJ's kids and co. Na to just train them to find their path and build on what papa has done. StagethemTVee: |
There is a guy called malaika or so ikorodureporta: |
This is no longer the Nigerian military force that championed Ecomog when i was a young boy |

Nigerian artistes are loved worldwide. Their music is played in radio stations all over the world. The online version of their songs get billions of streams from various countries. This has resulted in a money spinning, self sustaining industry that can not be overlooked by anyone. Nigerian artistes have been able to proof that music indeed is a universal language. All thanks to the likes of Davido, Wizkid, Don Jazzy and Burna Boy, naija music has become anthems in some countries thousands of miles from Africa. In this thriving music industry that has come to stay, which of the Nigerian artistes would you say have not released a single bad song? Name that one artiste that you know all his/her songs has been a hit back to back. https://mynaijadj.com/2021/10/11/which-naija-artiste-has-no-bad-song/

A Trending video shows the moment the winner of BBN season 6, shine ya eye goes on his knees to adore and worship a reluctant and seemingly surprised Billionaire Obi Cubana for the support shown him while in the BBN house.. While it is very good to appreciate helpers, this appears to be overboard as White Money is seen touching the shoes of Obi Cubana and touching his own head. What do you think? Would you do same if you won 90 million naira courtesy of someone's support? https://mynaijadj.com/2021/10/11/white-money-goes-on-his-knees-to-appreciatetouch-the-shoes-of-obi-cubana/

DJ Cuppy’s money or Tem’s fast growing popularity? Money and fame are 2 important factors in determining how big a celebrity is. How rich and how famous(popular) are they? However, there are several instances when some celebrities have only one of the two. DJ Cuppy is an Heiress to a billion naira empire of the Otedolas. She is a DJ and singer who has released several songs to her teeming fans. Despite the money and time spent producing and pushing her brand, DJ Cuppy has not been able to get the kind of fame she earnestly desires. If you are a follower of the beautiful and intelligent DJ on social media, you would know that she loves it when her fans give her attention. She seeks it and she is a master at sharing posts that gets her the attention. Musically, however, her fame and worldwide acceptance are still at a low. Tems on the other hand grew up singing in her church choir but has now become one of the most famous singers in the world. The success of her 2019’s Try Me saw her emerge into a big name in the music industry. The recent feature on Essense with Wizkid also shot her further into the hearts of Nigerians and music lovers all over the world. Tems have been able to achieve the fame and fans’ love that DJ Cuppy has not been able to get despite releasing an album, Original Copy in 2020 featuring a lot of musical heavyweights. Tems has the fame but is nowhere near the wealth of DJ Cuppy yet. As these 2 singers continue to work hard and grow, we hope they find the other rewarding half of their passion. Our question to you is which situation would you choose if you had to choose just one. Would you choose to have money without musical fame? Or do you prefer to have musical fame without the millions of dollars, yachts, luxury condos, mansions, and private jets? https://mynaijadj.com/2021/10/05/would-you-choose-dj-cuppys-wealth-or-tems-fame/

Peru by Fireboy DML is a heart warmer and party banger. It makes the spot for naija song i am feeling right now for the week. I stepped into an eatery a few weeks ago and noticed a familiar yet different song playing on their TVs and sound system. I did not pay attention to the video but noticed a part of the song was very familar to the chorus of a song by Salt n Pepa in the 90s titled Shoop. I had no idea that would be the beginning of a love story between my ears and Peru by Fireboy DML. It has been about 6 weeks since that experience and my love for the track has grown. Is it the vocal and tonal range Fireboy explored which was hitherto known as Wande Coal’s signature? Or how short, precise and accurate the song was? The beat was on point. Mix and mastering was world class. If you are a party lover, the night cannot end without the DJ throwing Peru in the mix over and over again. The lyrics had some very significant positive messages too. He mentioned that he does not smoke hemp and also that he is on duty(working). These are very good points he raised and hopefully those who thrive in laziness and drug abuse would take a cue. He made a lot of reference to women and love which the music was mostly about. He sang about how he is working and partying. https://mynaijadj.com/2021/10/04/the-naija-hit-song-i-am-feeling-right-now-peru-by-fireboy/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6uXFreFPyA
