This is a high end car. You need to have some money in your pocket, also don't bother about fuel economy. The car is a V8 5.0 litre engine.

It is not due to heat. A car that is parked for maybe three days under carport and the radiator fan comes on is definitely not heat. Maybe people don't understand my problem statement.

Car never behaved this way till a few months ago, I have a more recent model too and it doesn't behave this way.

Normal thing it just means your engine was still hot when you stopped, just use some detergents and warm water to clean the radiator and condenser sand dirt and mud buildup might be reducing its function.

Does it mean dirt can make the fan to come up on it's own when no key is in ignition and you maybe sleeping or watching TV and you hear your car fan coming on randomly and go off after 2mins? Radiator is clean though. Flushed not long ago .

Both the engine and ignition is switched off and the key is not in the ignition.

The radiator fan of 2008 Toyota Highlander randomly comes on for approximately 2mins when the car is switched off. What could be issue.

had similar issue before, was actually issue with security. The chip on the key was missing. Once i used the spare key, car came on. The injectors were also not pulsing but car cranked.

Try my best to catch him before he falls with the TV. Then I will sit him down for peace talks.

There is only one reason that this can happen, THE LECTURERS DON NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. In sane climates they should be sacked.

For me this is better than I4 camry. Very powerful and reliable but don't play with regular maintenance. The camry is more fuel efficient . Camry parts are also more readily available than G35x. Follow your heart.

Read about the K series engine used in rover. Mind you i don't need a mechanic to fix my car

Probably not a car you should buy. I have a relation who has been using this car for more than 6 years without complaint . Some cars you must never buy if you are the type that is careless about maintenance. Just find yourself a mechanic who knows about Freelander. If you can find a Landrover dealer , go there and talk to some of the mechanics. They will be pleased to recommend someone I am sure. Never do hit or miss repair with a car that is not common on the road.
