@Blakstar
nice 2 see ur posts again. Hope u are back 4 good. I hv been able 2 grab both w3a and sirius 4, thanks 2 ur tips. The only problem now is that only the MBCs are showing. The channels on 12728H are all red.
@ Nash-FTA
Your thoughts abt the GTV receiver are right.

Thanks. I also found that trick on that other forum. I tried but after the failed download it doesn't go back 2 the free2view channel. Instead, it shows some numbers on the screen with a question mark.

Happy new yr all.
@ Microgiant
Like Blakstar noted, it's not possible 2 add transponders to the GBS coship receiver. Will the free2view guys make the box FTA friendly?

I was trying 2 adjust my 90cm dish on w3a in order to get Sirius 4. I didn't touch the azimuth but just raised elevation a bit. I also changed the Lnb position to vertical. I got Sirius 4 at 46% quality with srt 69x but I've lost w3a.
Any help to get both birds?

Good observation abt the GBS Coship Box. I just pray a guru comes out with a technique to make it FTA friendly.
Over to you the IT wizards.

The only NDS embedded receiver i hv is that useless GBS COSHIP. No one has come up with a software to decrypt it yet. Any ideas?
@fijabi, spacevice,
You don't just patch receivers for the sake of patching. For a decoder having a software version of August 2009,
I think that is recent enough. Besides, pito confirmed it can open etv on 902/c. What more do you need?
@fijabi
You dey hear that?

@George/Enitan
I copy that. Thanks. So long as i am able to view what i want, i will not bother myself at all with that thing called PATCHING

@fijabi
Why should i patch my newly bought SRT 4669x? The software version is August 2009. What benefit will it bring to someone like me.

@ALL
I also remember the stands of enitan, George and co, concerning patching of receivers

Depending on the satellite u are on, just google eg. fta frequencies on astra2b. You will get what you want. For direct results you can also visit www.tracksat.com. Scroll down the page and select the satellite u want.

I haven't seen ur post in season 4 yet. What dey happen?
Satellite TV Technology › Re: Official Thread Of Free To Air Satellite Tv (part 4) by spacevice(m): 8:12am On Oct 04, 2009
I really don't see why Multi TV should hv a problem with people using strong/daarsat to view their channels. Their digi box is far cheaper than strong. If the case was the other way round, i will understand them. If we are buying strong and daarsat it's because we use them for other things as well. Their just making empty threats.

Most people are clamoring for DAARSAT recorder for MULTI tv, cant I use strong decoder for same purpose?
You can only use an mpeg4 strong decoder for same purpose. If u hv cash. Get the new SRT 4669x. It will help you. I'm actually using one

I tracked Multi TV and CRTV this afternoon. It's working well. No problems

Season 4 has started but it seems we can leave this season unless Oga Moderator locks it.
