I never learn this mock up o and the thing dey fear me, but when I remember how you started, I am encouraged that I can also do it. It makes a design look beautiful, you know. I go try learn from today, I want to send it as a freebie to my first client. Once I can do Mock up, I will mock up the design I did for him as a gift.

This is where it all started. I had opened a Fiverr and a Freelancer accounts in 2014 and abandoned them because I had thought I will get notify via e-mail when my services were needed. Well no one ever seem to seem to need my service. In 2015 I bought some materials worth #6000 on Fiverr, and other stuffs from that guy that goes by "Proffiverr", did it work? Nope, I didn't earn a dime. Then I came across this thread last year, took a while reading and asking questions, set up a new account (US, the 2014 own is Naija) and chatted with some nice people that give listening ears, such as Incredibledan, Beautycrush (shared one of her materials with me) and and many more that time may not permit me mention, but while other where sharing their testimonies, I was clingy and nothing was working, I still went back to my 2014 style. My US account was o writing niche, bought three reviews, but no sales. I was actually waiting for buyers to look for me. which was the problem. But the fact of no sale made me to begin learning two skills, video animation and Logo Designs (learning without an instructor hard o). I was in this battle when a God-sent by name Bestdpoke (God bless you man) started a thread on learning and offering Graphic Designs. Few weeks to that, I had technically abandoned my New US Account and created another Naija, starting with Virtual Assistant gig, it gave me my first $5 sales and things locked up again (at this point I had started looking for my Village people Phone numbers, to ask them to free my case before person go vex retire from city come dey shack free garri with them in the village).
Now to cut my long story shot, I set up a branding gig complimented it with a logo design gigs about three weeks ago, and with the enthusiasm I used in learning logo, I decided to 'buy' a piece of land in the city of BUYER REQUESTS, so as not to repeat that past mistakes. And to my greatest surprise I have sold $83 in just four orders, all from buyers request. I think Baba God is finally picking my call, as I keep dialing him. Lol. I know it is not much money to 'brag' about, but I share this so that my 'classmates' (those that don't use buyer requests) will know that it pays to use them.
Now, I can't end this without a special mention and appreciation of Mr. Venzal. I think this, may just be the beginning for me.

Oga himself done answer, wetin I go come talk? Yes, Google, google about pizza and existing pizza shops, is there a trend? what could you bring in differently to make this unique and yet having an element of representing the trend. Here my mind is playing around with social media logos, for example, somehow if you Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Wechat, Skpe etc you tend to think you can easily tell what is a social media logo at a snap of a finger, why? There is a sort of trend and yet all unique in there own right. Above all, simplicity is a Virtue.
Then you have to also get some input from the client as to what he may already have in mind, and to which you could work with those feasible and drop those that are not. His colour choice for example, etc.

I have twice been warned by Fiverr that such requests to promote my gig could lead to my account being restricted (even though it seem they went ahead to approve the second one because I got 19 offers. I don't know your objective of wanting to do that, but if it is to get orders, I don't think it pays because it a a place populated by sellers not buyers. My own objective was to get an idea of how sellers bid for requests. If you have a similar objective then you could only put in a request for a job not related to any of your gigs.

You don't open png files from sothink to illustrator.

You should open the svg file exported from sothink. Distortion is perhaps due to size and also because it is PNG and not svg. I dwelled much on size and quality in the new video.

Thank you very much for the logo variations. I liked the WhiteBackgroung (4th) colors, and the Grey_background colors. However, for the grey background could you please change Vent and the lines to white, and make Pro only in tiffany blue? Please send me both in png along with the vector file so I can make future changes when needed.

Make I no forget o, Oga Bestpoke, when I open png files from Sothink in my Illustrator (I don't know how to use it at all sef), they tend to be a bit disfigured and not so cool as they were before. What do I do, I just downloaded Inksacpe (a free alternative to illustrator) to see if it will make a difference.
To my fellow students in the house please go and create a gig if you have being to this class. I had just one sale ($5) on my Nigerian Fiverr account after two months without a single sale on my writing niche American account, and I was almost giving up on fiver, before Bestspoke did this change of story class, and within a two weeks or less of creating a Logo gig, I got me a custom order to brand and design a Logo for $30 and it is in the Nigerian Account.. Baba God I thank you, Bestspoke, I cherish you man.

You will have to design a business card & then show the buyer how it would look using a mockup(realistic representation before print).

Tips on making a custom mockup for a buyer. Logo design should be in PNG format,download a suitable mockup template from www.freedesignresources.net.

Launch Photoshop & place(import)your logo design in there & edit other features as you like. Advisable to get accustomed to Photoshop for best user experience. Best regards

Now I understand he wants me to try it on different backgrounds, which I would do and which mean some of the topography colours to will change but where I HAVE HEADACHE NOW IS WHERE HE MENTIONED FOR BUSINESS CARD.
