Left to me, they should be left there, they went there themselves, so why the noise, I think the fact that the government keep bringing them back is the reason they are still going there. Before you say the government is to blame, think, the cost of transportation to Libya is enough to start something in Nigeria but everyone wants to get rich quick. |

Goodluck brought SURE-P Buhari brought Npower...
What has Tinubu Brought for the Youths? Absolutely nothing..... Tinubu brought student loan, it's definitely more efficient and productive than SureP and Npower, those just empower their followers, student loan actually belongs to the student once eligible. |

Meti99: How many of you noticed that even the music industry has slowed down in Nigeria since Tinubu came on board.. It was Kizz Daniel's Buga that reigned by the time Tinubu was coming in in 2023 and since then no hit song emerge in Nigeria.. Hunger don kill creativity for Nigeria All our creative youths now wash old women's boms in UK.. All once engaging programs for youths like Gulder Ultimate Search, Who wants to be a Millionaire, Nigeria's idols, etc have vanished from Nigeria space Cost of living has increased, people are more concerned about their well-being rather than some entertainment. Besides most of those shows doesn't pay the poor, it takes from the poor and gives a percentage to a lucky winner, how is that fair? |
Politics › Re: Coalition Talks Face Hurdles As Atiku’s Bid, Zoning Threaten Negotiations by sparko1(m): 6:14pm On Mar 24, 2025 |
omowolewa: So the aren't aware of this
The closest voters to power is Obi/ElRufai (Will Obi serve one term to give way for Northern Candidate by 2031, No)
Will Atiku support the any Candidate to power,? No. Atiku will rather support himself back to Dubai instead of supporting any Candidate, not even when Obi could get there to spend 8 years. Baba would be Very Old to rule then.
Atiku/Obi Candidacy would only create low voters turn out as South and North Central would be captured already and Other North would be the battle field.
Aside from these Candidates, others are supprises without effects.
The Coalition should better wait till 2031 when politics is sweeter.
I will not be supprised if Ambode, Aregbe, Oyinlola, Adeleke, join the Coalition but it not in their interests.
Keregbe tofor, deyin leyin Odo. Leave Tinubu alone. Very funny, no coalition with Atiku in it that he will step down for anybody. No coalition with Obi it that the North will support, if you like make Buhari his vice, he will lose. Here's the the problem, the North will only agree on two conditions, one, they take immediate power, or two allow Tinubu to complete his 8 years and it returns to them, a new Southerner means another 8 years. Now, the real power house is Atiku and Obi, if Atiku leaves PDP, he will lose 50 percent of his support, if Obi leaves, it's the same. The best time for this coalition would have been before the last election, even if they lose, by now they would be speaking with one voice and it would be easier to defeat Tinubu, now, they can't even get a headway before 2026, even if they do, the political alignment will be difficult to understand and they will lose. |

SmartPolician: I know that Tinubu was totally wrong with the steps he took in Rivers crises, but nobody should be comparing what's happening in Rivers State to what happened in Lagos. After all, Sanwo-Olu didn't bring down the State House of Assembly. Which of the steps is wrong? For the first time, a president is proactive and you guys are talking about wrong steps. Since the governor was removed, how many pipelines did you hear is bombed, any blockade anywhere in Rivers State at the moment, what about protest, fighting, any government building destroyed?🙄🙄 This is one of the best decisions, let the governor and the reps watch from the sidelines for a while, maybe they will see clearly, because obviously, they were just acting like they were blind. |

owobokiri: When that market is reopened, you all will be stunned to see the level of looting that happened there while they were busy ransacking the market.
Uptill this day, the owners of the shops have not been allowed to see their shops, explain what were/are inside and help take details of what we're removed. It has been some unknown nafdac officials dancing azonto all over the market.
The amount of goods taken away which they claim runs into trillions, should be bigger than than the quantity they are showing . Where are the rest? Everyone is against fake products, but with shops selling wears and clothing already looted, only God knows what is going on in that market.
NAFDAC seem terrified to reopen the market..But reopen, they must.. That is their problem, they allowed fake drugs and drug dealers in their shops, they can't complain. It's like living among yahoo boys as a guy, the day EFCC will come, they will move everybody, seize everyone's laptop and phone, you can then defend yourself in court and get acquainted. You see boys in your area beating soilder, you say not my business, when they come, everybody go collect. |

You expect the governor that is clearly the sponsor of the pipeline bombing to be allowed to continue a state of emergency. Stop thinking with your ass, the unrest is Fabura way of saying, impeachment is not in your best interest, if he is confident, he should allow the process just like the 27 HOR Members when he removed them unconstitutionally I must add, and they didn't mobilize their constituents to fight the state or state government. |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Oga, when a governor's term is done, he should leave. Simple! Peter Odili left, Rotimi Amechi left, why should Wike insist on taking money from Rivers coffers even after leaving office? So how does refusing to send money to Wike include working with only 3 of the HOR members, now they have started impeachment proceeding against him and this will likely drag for another 6 months or a year, this is bad for everyone, especially the people of Rivers State. |
Politics › Re: Rivers Crisis: Pro-Wike Lawmakers Setting Traps – Jega Reveals Only Obstacle To by sparko1(m): 10:57am On Mar 17, 2025 |
ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Wrong question! The right question is if Wike and other politicians like him are betrayed by the godson's who refuse to deposit in their accounts public money, how is that your business? If a politician stops another from stealing public funds even when they are out of office how is it your cup of tea? Is it the people of Rivers that should pick their governor or Wike? He rigged an election and imposed an unpopular candidate into office and you are here ranting. Go and show Wike the way to the courthouse so he can forward his complain. You people deserve your wicked leaders. First thing you need to understand is, there is nothing like a good politician, they are all the same, some might try to paint a pretty picture, but at the end they are all after there personal interest. Now, the part that concerns us is the smooth running of the government, we are not paid by them but every policy that results in a fight between them will not affect them, it will only affect us. The fight they are having for close to 2 years means, no constituency project, nothing has been happening. Politic is a dirty game, you can pretend you have some contender but at the end of the day, they are all the same, I will prefer a smooth process to whatever is happening in Rivers. |

ADAMUdaCOWBOY: Nigeria is where it is because of nit wits like you. One man said to make you governor you must promise to divert billions of naira of public funds that could be used to better the lives of the people into my account for eight years and now that the governor refused to live by the terms of the agreement, poor nigerians living on less than a dollar a day say the agreement should be kept. The problem of Nigeria is not the leaders, it is your ilk If you know you are uncomfortable with such, why agree in the first place, you can't decide when to choose a righteous part. It's not by force, you don't have to be governor, besides how are you so sure the agreement was about payment rather than a mutually beneficial settlement in manpower placement? |
Politics › Re: Rivers Crisis: Pro-Wike Lawmakers Setting Traps – Jega Reveals Only Obstacle To by sparko1(m): 9:48pm On Mar 16, 2025 |
mastermaestro: Sign agreements you can keep. Keep to the agreements that you have signed. Fubara knew what he signed up for with Wike. And I am pretty sure those agreements were not sealed by mere words.
Looking at the way Wike has prevailed so far, you will be naive not to conclude that whatever they signed had unseen forces involved. Agreements are binding. Even GOD will stay out of it when it's time for you to fulfil your part of it. This is exactly what people fail to understand, when you agree to something, there are two parts, do what you agreed or negotiate. |
