timidapsin:You went ahead to publish it on youtube without even knowing the meaning of what they are saying. Don't you fear God at all? Remember that one day you are going to give account of all that you do in this world. Repent my friend and seek forgiveness from God because you have misled a lot of people because of your bigotry. |
lalasticlala:Definitely, the interpreter is mischievous. This is the prayer of 'ending of the Qur'an' (dua'a khatamul Qur'an) or al-qunoot which is normally recited when one finishes reciting the whole of the Qur'an. The dua'a is as follows. (This is from where the Imam began) Do not make the world our biggest concern and the amount of our knowledge. Do not impose on us because of our sins someone who will not fear you nor have mercy upon us with your mercy Oh Allah the most merciful of those who show mercy. Oh Allah, do not leave any of our sins without forgiving them, any concern without meeting it, any debt without paying it, any sickness without healing it, any misguidance without guiding it, any ignorance without imbuing with knowledge, any lack without enriching it, any need from the needs of this world and the hereafter without meeting it, in your mercy, oh the most merciful of those who show mercy. My friend, you can see therefore that there is no where the name of Buhari, Kano, or Shekarahu featured in the prayers. Wallahu musta'an.

If you see anywhere the strike is effective, check carefully, it will be one of the places that have not been paid their salaries. When you're seriously hungry, you become angry. So any opportunity to vent your anger is welcome. |
I think I was able to decode their established pattern a very long time ago in order to pursue their sinister agenda: * register your presence on every available online social media as much as you can; * always draw attention to the plight of our people and cry, weep, shout if need be to get it to the notice of every available media; * debunk and destroy all positive or favourable news about the enemies as propaganda and ensure you cause confusion even in the minds of their ardent supporters; * promote, celebrate and elevate all perceived negative news that would taint the image of the enemies and put them on the defensive; * fabricate believable lies and negative news to put the enemies on defensive; * attack, demystify, destroy all opposing figures even within your kinsmen as long as they support the enemies. If this is not nuisance, I don't know what it is. |
TonyeBarcanista:Nope, that Abuja own belongs to the "agbaiya" who are still part of the problem. The PH own belongs to those who still have political interest to protect in PDP for now, but in actual fact they are not that interested in rescuing the party. But if you the younger elements organize your own convention elsewhere, a powerful message would have been sent to the elderly ones that you're ready to retire them politically by fire by force. ![]() |
TonyeBarcanista:Then let all the younger elements hijack the party structure to jolt the elderly ones out of reverie. When you younger elements mobilize against the elderly ones, they would know that your group could no longer be taken for granted again. How? Have your own parallel convention in Ekiti. Shikena! |
From this info, one could also deduce albeit vaguely the purchasing power of the people. This is because na the person wey chop well na im go remember say im want call or even browse the internet. ![]() Lailai, person wey no chop well no go even remember say im get phone talkless of making calls or browsing. ![]() |
angels09:Perhaps you intentionally missed this because it doesn't tally with your own narrative: Amina’s rescue came when vigilantes from Damboa town launched a counter attack to stop fleeing Boko Haram from the Sambisa forest. An African proverb says, "he who points a finger at someone, have the rest of the four fingers point at him/herself". Remember they have been in your current position before - free and indifferent. Who knows, the pendulum might as well swings to your side tomorrow and other people would have the opportunity of paying you back in your own coin. The age-long wisdom has never changed: "do unto others as you want them to do unto you". Playing with people emotions is cruel and blameworthy. "Omode to ba ni enu agba n run, bo pe boya oun naa n bo wa d'agba". |
TonyeBarcanista:That is also to tell you that your political version sometimes obstruct your sense of judgement and that create a lot of problem for the other version to deal with. All the same, I think I like your normal version, the political version of you is something else. How can you support a candidate you're not sure of just because you don't like the other one? You could have stayed neutral and allow people to make their choice. |
Every one has a reason or another to protest. The Osun workers especially those who have been receiving half salaries would jump at this opportunity to protest. The students of Osun schools who are at loggerheads with the governor would also have the opportunity to get back at the governor. The Iya alatas and elepos of Osun state would also register their grievances as lack of payment of salaries has impacted their businesses. So when you see people protest, not necessarily because they love what NLC is doing, but because they have one beef or the other with their governor or the government of the day. |
NTA ran a programme on this issue some weeks back, but we hardly paid attention. Hope the concerned authorities would do the needful. The Dangote Farms Tomato Processing Factory announced that it has halted operations in its $20 million tomato paste facility due to a scarcity of tomatoes, barely two months after beginning operations. This announcement comes as a surprise to many that believed Dangote was the reason for the tomatoes shortage plaguing Nigeria. The tomato plant was anticipated to help reduce wastage of the fruit in the country and to also minimise the amount of imported tomato pastes in the Nigerian market. According to Nigeria’s Ministry of Agriculture, Nigeria produces about 1.5 million tons of tomatoes a year, but over 900,000 tons is lost to rot.http://venturesafrica.com/this-is-the-real-reason-why-you-are-paying-more-for-tomatoes-in-nigeria/ Sorry mod, I posted it here because some disgruntled members of the public have turned this to a political issue |
My friend, it's like you have a dual personality. One version of Tonye is an Ijaw man who is very objective when it comes to Ijaw/Niger Delta/National issues. The other version is a political one. The problem here is the political version of you has dented the image of humane and objective version of Tonye so much so that people are confused which of the two versions to believe. For me, I think I'll rather go with the first version because the second version lacks credibility sometimes. ![]() You were the one that sold Dickson to your kinsmen few months ago as the best thing that could ever happen to Bayelsans. Now you're praying for his elections to be nullified. How do you explain this my brother? ![]() |
There is a problem with this topic. Muslims do not have a figure like a Pope who is the head of all Catholics in the world. He is what he is: Dr. el-Tayeb, who is the current Grand Imam of al-Azhar - so there is no point in glamourizing what is not. Even he is not the highest authority on Islamic matters in his country not to talk of other countries. Stop misleading poor folks. |
Majority of his colleagues are even selling the old stocks @N170/litre. So for some who do not see any good in it, those who are buying the same old stocks at exorbitant prices would appreciate his gestures. |
I don't know your locations, but I'm watching gotv right now. All I noticed is that their tv channels have reduced from 52 to 49. |
Over 150 views with less than 10 comments. Were it to be "Fayose blasts Buhari", "Fayose cuts ponmo on the road", "Fayose drinks burukutu with okada riders" you would have seen the multitude of comments. SMH for this generation. |
Good. |
ahaz:I've already overgrown my dear. What you need to do is to pray to reach my age. If I leave this world now, I'll be celebrated not mourned. It's because of your future that some of us are still here so that you would at least use your brain for something good for once. |
247frolicboss:This reminds me of a song which we normally sang when we were much younger: "Gbogbo egbe e wo leesi, iwo sa ma ja kiri" (literally, all your mates are putting on lace, while you keep fighting about). In essence, imagine having Oshodi - Apapa fixed, Lagos - Ibadan fixed, Sagamu - Benin fixed, and Ibadan - Ilorin fixed. We know in the next budget God's willing, we are going to have Ibadan - Ife, Ife - Akure, Akure - Owo - Akungba - Ibilo all fixed. Let them continue to call us slaves while we are having our infrastructure fixed. All I know is that we in the South West are going to have a strict immigration policy when the inevitable happens. "Ki eku ile gbo, ko ya so fun t'oko". |
agitator:Well they have no choice. First of all, they don't have enough dollars due to the slump in the price of crude oil from $120 to roughly $40. Secondly they gave them the chance to even used the one that is available, but as smart Nigerians they prefer selling dollars in the black market to importing of fuel for which they were given the dollars in the first instance. So they have no choice other than leaving them to find their dollars from whichever sources and bring in the products. To me, that is sensible enough. |
Checked86:Well according to him, he said they are selling at that price to make NNPC competitive. I think there is no point bringing in investors and at the same time spoiling the market for the would-be investors. He equally said that the money they make from the differentials would be used to improve the capacity of the refinery and at the same time would be paid back to the federation account for all the states to share. I think you should watch him on this video: http://www.channelstv.com/2016/05/12/petrol-price-increase-should-not-be-basis-for-palliatives-kachikwu/ |
greatjoey:According to the petroleum minister for state, he said they have tried to give the marketers priority to access forex from the CBN, but the marketers were selling it through the parallel markets. According to him, to them selling their dollars in the parallel market makes more sense than having to import petroleum products. That is why they stopped giving them such privilege. On the later part of your summation, you're entitled to your own opinion. |
Owamudia:Thanks for the correction. I was quoting the minister but I read the PPPRA article in ThisDay. |
shachris02:I think the right word to use is naira has already depreciated. Currency depreciation is caused by outside market forces where investors lose confidence in the fundamentals of the country (economy, interest rates, political instability, increased risk due to regulations, chronic account deficit, high rates of inflation, etc). Currency devaluation is a monetary policy tool (used internally by the country itself): a deliberate downward adjustment to the value of the currency relative to another currency or group of currencies. |
Don't build castle in the air. Remember that PDP has already zoned Presidency to the North. |
The little explanation for that is simple. Previously, they were giving the marketers FX through CBN at the official rate of N197. But now they have asked the marketers to source for their own forex at the rate of N285 according to the Minister of state for Petroleum Resources yesterday on Channels TV. The PPPRA used the unofficial rate in the calculation. |
What most people don't see is that Buhari is indirectly preventing his ministers from putting their hands in national till. As he is preventing those who have stolen from benefitting from their loots, so also it will be difficult for the current public officials to stash any looted funds. Even though this may not curb corruption completely, but it will reduce it drastically. In fact, banks would now be more careful in dealing with looted funds. Nigeria shall be great. |
Can't believe what I've just read! Now I believe the old saying that says "never judge a book by its cover". This is exactly the way to go and just like I've always insisted that there are good and bad people everywhere. The action or inaction of the few bad eggs should not be used to judge the whole lot. Senator Buruji Kashamu is a man! I believe he is alone on this particularly in the South West among his folks and within his party. He should remain focused and consistent in his opposition. He should continue to hold his opinions and let who is bent on dancing naked in the market place continue. I know some people would want to criticize him for this based on his past, but people should remember that "kosi eniti won maa ti owo bo idi e, ti won koni ba igbe nibe". |
Looking at this picture, I'm very sure that this does not resemble someone that is capable of islamizing Nigeria. God knows how low some people can go in the name of lying and blackmail. |
dapsoneh:Someone is demented here. ![]() |
dapsoneh:That is the problem with you people. Everything is all about Aregbe. Mind you, before Aregbe started owing, Kogi and Benue states under PDP administrations in the last dispensation were owing up to 11 months. Nobody made a noise about that because they are PDP and Christians. So when Aregbe cried out that he was systemically being denied allocation from the FG, shebi all of you were mocking him instead of addressing the issue. Long story short, Aregbe and Osun people have moved on. Osun state is back on track as construction works have since started in the state again. Continue to make jest of Aregbe when your own governor is there making life miserable for you. SMH |
