MelesZenawi:

Then go and invest it in Abia state and leave anambra alone.

You should be more concerned with the Image of Abia state not what Anambra can give.

We have and have been settling our scores. I didn't remember anytime anambra has called for Abia state assistance in sorting her issues out.

Whether you make clean or dirty money is non of my business. Take your cash and lift the face of Abia but then leave anambra with their illiteracy, arrogance because it seems all Abians are literate, meek and saint...

Obi ojooo is real, I now see one in day light.

Dude, this is not about Abia. Please tell your brothers to stop disgracing us, IGBOS. Like the OP, I am also tired, and I am Delta Igbo (Asaba). You can attack Delta too; it's a free world.

It is a bitter truth of course, but Igbo's should be ashamed of themselves. They always blame other Nigerians on their problems. But the reality is that, they are the source of their problems all over the globe. And mind you that we will never let you go. Because even if we, we will continue to bear your cantankerousness.

That's counter productive. Dont you think so?. If I were Nigeria I will let Igbos go and form their own country so that they stop 'disgracing' the green passport. What really does Nigeria gain from Igbos that will warrant not letting them go after all these disgrace?

IPOB: Enemy of democracy
By Gracelyn Eshet | Published Date Sep 10, 2019 3:31 AM

Boko Haram is not the enemy of democracy

Murderous Fulani cattle herders are not the enemy of democracy

IPOB (unarmed and protesting for freedom) is the enemy of democracy

So says one mad Gracelyn Eshet, the reporter from Calabar working for Daily Trust, a Fulani Newspaper.
Politics / Re: Attacks Not Xenophobic, 89 Nigerians Killed Since 2017 - South Africa by spectroscopic: 2:48pm On Sep 10, 2019
The authorities reportedly told the envoy that there are three categories of Nigerians in South Africa. The first are professionals, who are doing very well in such fields as medicine and the academics. The second are businessmen, including genuine traders. The third are those into drugs.

“These people (drug couriers) are few but they are very loud. Sadly, it is they that are seen as the faces of Nigeria in South Africa,” a senior official was said to have told the special envoy.

This is exactly the opinion expressed in the Facebook article https://www.nairaland.com/5398486/sa-vs-nigeria-sorry-field I posted here weeks back. We did not need a special envoy to tell us this.

I dont think the figure include those whose papers have expired or those without legal papers-illegal immigrants.

If so, that goes for other countries as well. Yes? Unless you want to suggest only NIGERIANS stay in SA illegally.

“They are busy carrying out their legitimate duties. I was in Mandela Square and was served at a restaurant by two Nigerians, they didn’t express any anxiety and neither did they feel under any pressure to flee SA.”...............................................Babafemi Ojudu

An article I posted a couple days ago https://www.nairaland.com/5398486/sa-vs-nigeria-sorry-field gave the figure at 30 K, which is comparable to this one. Apparently, unless these data do not capture both legal and illegal immigrants, the Nigerian population in SA is small and cannot be the reason for afrophobia targeted specifically at Nigerians. Are some of the Nigerians there loud and shady? Yes. But there are decent Nigerian profs and doctors and other professionals there as well. These are usually not loud and obnoxious compared to traders (same as traders in Nigeria) let alone Yahoo! Yahoo! and drug dealers. Nigerians in SA are like Nigerians in Nigeria: they come in all shades and colors and comprise of the best, the good, the bad and the downright ugly. I don't know if Nigerian professionals in SA and the non-criminal traders and artisans communicate at all. These people of different social strata should start communicating to dispel the false narrative and also to detach their honorable image from that of the few bad eggs among them.

PS: All Nigerians in SA went there legally at first. So everyone of them was documented initially. Depending on how they revise their documentation, some formerly legal immigrants who did not honor the terms of their visa become illegal and may or may not be captured in these data.

If he was Nigerian, USA would be the first to refer to him as a Nigerian, e no dey hard dem do.

Its like na we dey even anticipate bad news for this country just for banter purpose

Sharap there. If he is a US citizen, which he likely is (I bet they won't let a foreigner work in such a sensitive position), they will not call him ''Nigerian'' officially. That still does not negate the fact that he was an immigrant with a Nigerian sounding name. This is only a breaking news. It's still early; we shall soon know whether he is a Yoruba (which seems highly likely). grin grin grin grin

Another Nigerian-American (he became a citizen few years ago) was arrested for killing a white girl in Utah. His name is Ayoola Ajayi. Google him.

These low self esteem people can not comprehend simple English words.
