The scheme is really not serving the purpose anymore, i served in Akwa-Ibom in the year 2005, and what we were doing as a Youth Corper was far below my capacity, i was actually teaching in a secondary school, urue-offong oruko in Oron, the students were not really ready for education, we were just forcing them. The teachers there too were mismatch, i could recollect vividly, we usually go round to invite students to come for lessons and when exam comes, they expect us Youth Corpers to assist in writing WAEC for them.

In conclusion, NYSC should be scrapped and replaced with a better scheme as so many of you shouting that you served are the ones that only comes for clearance once in a while. As for me, i was one of the few who did not travel outside my state of posting even when others have all left, even during festive period, i stayed back in Akwa-Ibom because i know i am a Nigerian and that is the essence of NYSC.

Federal Government should not just scrapped the programme but should create an alternate scheme where Graduates wont need to hunt for JOBS after school, i believed that will be more useful. The govt could just create a TRAIN-THE-TRAINER program where graduates are trained on some special or basic human development skills and they in turn train the locals or villagers in the respective skills which they have learnt for FREE under the Government sponsorship.
If this could be implemented, it will go a long way in alleviating poverty and still meet the purpose of serving our father's land.

I hope and pray he manages the club well, making him the chairman is a more of a status thing than turning around the managerial prowess of the club for the better. He should have been given a more participating functional role than the chairmanship position, we basically knows that chairmen of clubs and companies are not really into management but just appending signatures to resolutions. Such a CHAIRMAN we had in the last dispensation is ex-President Jonathan, he is just a CHAIRMAN at the presidency but the ministers who happens to be the managers of affairs runs the country amock while Jonathan just append his signatures to every decision taken by them.

USA, UK, EUROPE and other countries are so much culpable in the corruption problem of Nigeria, there is a yoruba adage which translate thus, 'the person who stole goat from the marketplace is not to be blamed but the person who received the stolen goat'..Those countries telling us about our loots need not worry anymore, we know where to beam our searchlight, when push comes to shove, we know who are true friend of Nigeria.

FAILURE IS PART OF SUCCESS, i really felt for the guy, but does the guy realize he can make money from the so called loss arising from the flood?

This is an amazingly shocking discovery, i have been to at least 2 psychiatric hospitals on a visit and i imagined the threat and danger inherent in this care giver career. The workers are sometime threatened by the patients, and like the report pointed out, there are inadequate support staff to help when violence broke out.
Sometimes the hunter became hunted and the staff resort to using brutal application to enforce therapy on the patients, its really agonizing.

A lot of these scams abound everywhere, i was surprised these fraudsters had the gut to come in into our close and paste job vacancy promising heavens on earth to applicants. There is serious poverty in this country
