Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Lack Of Adequate Employment In Nigeria by speedxe1256(m): 4:45pm On Jun 09, 2023 |
SultanOfAbia: Nigerians are lazy.. There are many job sectors like . Cleaning the roads and collecting refuse Not body wants to do that Everybody wants collar job with office blowing A C
Agriculture sector is heavily lacking in youths. All youths want fast money and agriculture takes patience dedication and discipline which this generation lack
My point is that in reality There is no job scarcity . What we have in Nigeria is job saturation There are job sectors that are avoided by the youths.. Due to prestige or ego. But when they travel abroad they don't mind washing dishes in restaurant and doing garbage man. The pay is worth it compared to doing that in Nigeria, no do yeye comparison habeg |

Education › Re: My Younger Brother Is Having Serious Issues In The University by speedxe1256(m): 12:35am On May 22, 2023 |
PaNnamdi: My younger brother studying biochemistry at the University of Benin have had about 5 carry overs. Now he is in his third year, and he is seriously depressed. I have seriously reprimanded him and also consoled him but I don't want him to spill and based on the fact that when am in school I never had issues like this, I decided to bring this online.
Is it possible for him to drop some of the mandatory courses in his department(note not core courses o,but mandatory courses) to accommodate for the carry over courses he had.
Please I need legit answers from those who are experienced in issues like this.
Mod u can place or more this to the rightful thread, Some might still be passing through this situation too in silent. If he can register all the required courses then he can graduate even without passing all of em but written the exams... If he cannot register all the required courses due to him exceeding the required credit load , then he will have to come the following year.. Biochemistry in uniben no be Beans, he should see it as a 5years course. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Dangote Refinery: How Prepared Are You As A Job Seeker? by speedxe1256(m): 12:22am On May 22, 2023 |
ytdivine: Opportunity comes but once. The opportunity is here again for the prepared minds. Before my NYSC in 2004, I had a mindset to serve and be retained in a multinational company during my service year, that dream came to pass. One major thing from my years of industrial experiences lacking in Nigeria is MENTORSHIP. Young graduates roam about like sheep without Shepherd and most time end up in POS and KEKE businesses. This should not be so. Do you know that the refinery is going to bring industrial revolution in Nigeria and Africa at large. Those prepared will be absorbed while the unprepared will continue the blame the government. Not everybody will work in the refinery, majority will work in the offset of the refinery. There will be hundreds of auxiliary companies that will come onboard as affiliates. More production from oil companies, hence more job openings. Many experience hands will leave their present jobs and migrate to the refinery jobs, hence more vacancies in other sectors. There will be placement for all the prepared minds irrespective of the course of study; Engineering, linguistics, medical, accounting, safety, foreign relation, statistics, chemistry, and so on.
I will be letting you know what you should do to increase your chances of being absorbed there. Please indicate if you're following. We move. I studied production Engineering, I am in search of a Job I'm following your thread |

ekanx27: I remembered that year when we were doing clearance in auditorium. Ambulance will always be close to the auditorium ready to brisk any body that faint or collapse to UBTH. Students of nowadays are so fortunate to get everything without stress. Ekosodin don quiet, BDPA don calm, Osasogie don package, arrow boys don graduate finish, June 12 is no longer a place where you give the babe you want to toast the best start up line, hall 2 car park no longer function like before, Buka 19 beans is no longer delicious, indoor sports hall no longer have the fun we experience like the Saturday swimming pool party, basement is no longer used by all 100l students, John Haris Library books are still intact without stain, hall 4 Porter are no longer chasing and ceasing hot plates and boys from hall 3 no longer carry binoculars to view girls in Hall 2 bathing outside.
God bless UNIBEN God bless Edo state God bless the Federal republic of Nigeria This guy!!!... You hit em' right, damn! |
