Make sense. I recently applied for jumuia affiliate, it took less that 2 mins for them to approve my application. My adsense is still there sha. But i think Jumia is running out of customers. Being approved into their affiliate now is so easy, just like how adsense approval used to be! Very easy |

At the mention of 'insurance', a lot of us will think straight to Car insurance, House insurance or life insurance. There is a whole bunch of insurance but right now, we want to talk about phone insurance. When we purchase a phone, we often discover that these phones have a little warranty but most of these warranty do not cover losses. Since you know yourself better than the insurers do, there is definitely something to gain when your phone is under insurance. Before we go to the reason for this post, here are some important things you need to consider before you insure your phone. 1. Are loss or theft covered? 2. Are damage caused by water covered?, either immersion or spill 3. Are you going to be charge on a monthly base or will you pay a one time fee? 4. Will your replacement phone be the same model as the one that got lost or damaged? 5. Whats the guaranteed time for the replacement? 6. Are you limited to a number of replacement? Having these question at the back of you mind, you can take a look at these companies that offer good phone insurance in Nigeria. www.techkibay.com/2016/04/where-to-find-good-phone-insurance-in.html |

A user of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphone has sued Apple, the owner said the design defect made the phones' touchscreens start malfunctioning and became unresponsive, rendering both phones unusable. n line with a proposed nationwide class-action lawsuit filed on Saturday, Apple has been aware of this problem for a long time, which frequently surfaces after a flickering grey bar appears atop the touchscreens, but has refused to fix it. The suer related the problem to Apple's decision not to use a metallic "shield" or "underfill" to protect the valuable parts because it previously did on models of the iPhone 5. These were words of the complaint filed in federal court in San Jose, California The iPhones are not fit for the purpose of use as smartphones because of the touchscreen defect For the History Apple, headquartered in Cupertino, California, sold a total of 166.4 million iPhones, generating $108.5 billion (roughly 34,258,875,000,000.00 Naira) of net sales, that happened in the first 9 months of its current fiscal year. Source: http://www.techkibay.com/2016/01/4-tech-habits-you-need-to-stop-right-now.html As the year gradually comes to an end, it is best you start it right by doing away with your old habits and make your tech life easier by trying some new habits. It is a fact that old habits die hard and that's why we are showing you how to do away with these common practices 1. Using the same passwords for different web sites While using the same password on different websites, if any of the websites gets hacked, your information stored in their database will be reached by the hackers. Your information could be traced to other places, although it can be inconvenient to use many passwords if you rely on your own memory. It is advised to use password manager likes LastPass. Perhaps you've never tried any of the password managers, what they actually do is store your usernames and passwords for you. 2. Not backing up your photos You might not have felt the pain of losing hundreds of your "so cherished" photos. We advise that you back up your phone with any of the trusted apps that can automatically backup all your videos and your photos to the cloud. Making it easily accessible in disappointing situations. Google+ is available on iOS for this function, the Photo App on android can also set up auto backup, the Dropbox can also be used as long as your camera upload option is on. For Amazon Prime subscriber, an unlimited photo storage is available. 3. Not minding your Facebook settings Facebook is easily accessible, you can see what your friends are up to, you can post your own status. Here is a question for you; when was the last time you checked who could view the contents you publish? Finding those Facebook privacy settings can seem like a big task, so why not try this great article on how to secure your Facebook account. 4. Running Flash all the time on your laptop Many of us are fans of live Streaming on our computers, sometimes Flash can make your computers fans to spin beyond required in order to cool down your PC. You should not allow Flash running all the time. If you're a Google Chrome user, try to use FlashControl. If you're a Firefox user, try to use FlashBlock. You'd get amazed how much battery life you can save when you turn off Flash on various sites. If you do this at first, your browser might look very different to use, but it's worth it. Earlier in April, Opera made improvements to its browser by including a free VPN into the Desktop Opera. The feature was included in the Opera developers channel about a year after the company took ownership of SurfEasy, a Toronto-based company that creates VPN applications which are very much easy to use. iOS had earlier received it's Opera VPN application in may, now Android has finally joined the club. One notable thing about the Opera VPN is that it is similar to the VPN in the Opera browsers. With hopes of adding more countries, users can currently choose from a number of countries including USA, Germany, Singapore, Netherland and Canada. Another exciting thing about the Opera VPN App is that it comes with a built-in ad tracking blocker, to restrict advertising networks from tracking your behaviour when you visit different sites. There is nothing as annoying as when your computer crashes and you were told the mother board got fried. This could actually make your heart skip a beat because once the motherboard of your computer is bad, finding a new and better replacement is almost impossible as well as expensive. You could actually replace the bad motherboard with a new one and then your computer starts to show signs of malfunctions. Why not save yourself all those stress and pain by simply following these precautions 1. Do not use a faulty charge or power cord. Some people are either too lazy or think they don’t have the money and hence they would use that faulty charger for a very long time. I have a friend who is practically guilty of this and had just lost his motherboard. The good news is that he is free from the bondage of laziness but unfortunately, he lost his system. A large number of mother board problems has been traced to the use of faulty chargers or power cord. It is best you buy a new charger rather than buying a new motherboard. 2. Do not try to repair your computer by yourself There are lots of components inside our computer that we know nothing about and once altered, we could successfully damage our computer. So it is advisable that on no account should you try losing your computer. If you want to repair it, take it to a technician. 3. Do not charge with low electricity voltage At times, electric voltage diminishes and at the same time, your system is plugged in to electricity. Whether it be a low voltage or high voltage, your computer could be at risk. There have been cases of people whose computer’s mother board got fried due to change in electric voltage. Number 4 is very much important, so check it out: http://www.techkibay.com/2016/05/motherboard-precautions.html |
Samsung told Business & Financial News site, Reuters that: As pre-order results for the Galaxy Note 7 have far exceeded our estimates, its release date in some markets has been adjusted To be frank, who doesn't love a high number of demands? Likewise, no company would be happy when demand happens to be low. Right now, there is so much pressure on Samsung; pressure from customers and even competitor As Apple plan to release its promising iPhone 7 this September, Samsung has got to buckle its bet and start producing more of its devices. Prophetically speaking, the Samsung Galaxy Note7 would get to parts of Europe if no further delay comes from the company. According to some sources, Samsung had issues increasing number of curved screens for the Galaxy S6 edge last year, but claims from an insider say that the Note7 has no such issues Read more about Samsung >> http://www.techkibay.com/2016/08/demand-for-samsung-galaxy-note7-exceeds-supply.html |

From the look of things, it seems like one of the greatest feature on iOS devices is about come to WhatsApp. A recent leak revealed explanation text which shows users what to do when ask to give WhatsApp access to Siri. If you don't use an Apple device, you should probably be wondering what Siri is. Siri is an "intellectual assistant" that are built in Apple iPhone 4s and later iPhones, iPod Touch and newer iPad devices to enable users speak natural language voice commands in order to operate the mobile devices as well as apps installed in it. If Siri hopefully comes to WhatsApp, users will be able to read and send messages without stress by the mere use of voice command.
