We are now in the long anticipated September and whether you're a worker or not, it's weekend, a time to have enough rest and prepare for a brand new week of 'work' 'work' 'work'. But before that, I would like to prescribe something cool for you. A delightful addition to Google's search result, the Tic Tac Toe and Solitaire. Before I make any prescription, I'll encourage you to take note of these disclaimers 1. Don't play the game while at work! (It's very very tempting) 2. Don't play this game in the presence of your boss! (it could turn him/her into an addict) Having made emphasis on these disclaimers, let me let the cat out of the bag. What makes the Tic Tac Toe so addictive and how do you play it? Depending on which of the games you would like to play, type ' Play Tic Tac Toe' or rather type 'Play Solitaire' in Google search for either of them. At the top of other search results, you should see an option to play the game. In the case of the Tic Tac Toe, you can paly against your friend and also choose difficulty level between Easy and Hard. There is no restriction to who gets to play the game because the game is supported on most browsers and was added to both desktop and mobile versions of the search results. It is worth mentioning that this is not the fist time for google to introduce some extra utility to its search result. For instance, if you make a search on "what sound does a lion make," you will actually get to hear the roar of the lion without being redirected to any other site. Netflix's FAST.COM Now Has An Android And iOS App To Help Test Your Internet Speed Netflix had earlier introduced Fast.com, a website meant to help determine the internet speed of both Netflix subscribers and those who aren't. The Android and iOS app work the same way as the website, once you open the app, it begins to calculate your connection speed. You can use it to test the internet speed of all networks in Nigeria, including the ones offering cheap and unreliable data (no names mentioned!) ![]() For the curious onces, here is how the app work In order to calculate your internet speed effectively, the app carries out several download test in your background from Netflix's own server. Since it’s on a mobile device, you can easily use the refresh button close to your result to quickly carry out another speed test whenever your devices swap to a new available wireless connection in another location Click here to download on Android and here for on iOS Source: http://www.techkibay.com/2016/08/netflixs-fast-now-has-apps-to-test-internet-speed.html

Thumbs up #gsmbasics. IFA in berlin starts today, and the company has other plans of launching its Gear watch. Funny enough, it is actually too early for leaks of the samsung s8. Concerning the dual-camera. I think its waste of space. Rather. a dual stereo speaker is a better idea. There are a couple of leaks i would love you to check out. Especially Xiaomi Mi Note 2 curved display (like samsung galaxy 6 edge) . >> www.techkibay.com |

Samsung made sure the Galaxy Note7 users are not able to insert the S-Pen backwards, and yet a new flaw seems to be plaguing some styluses. Right now, it seems, the mechanical button on the S-Pen, which usually ejects the stylus from the silo, may stop clicking very soon. And no clicking simply means the S-Pen will not be ejected from the note. You could probably get it out with the aid of a pin, or alternatively, by hitting on the S-pen's hole, however, once you start having issues with it, you may be left with no choice than doing this quite often. Currently, on YouTube, there are already a number of videos describing this issue and it is clearly the S-Pen fault Check out these two YouTube video that will help explain the issue: http://www.techkibay.com/2016/08/samsungs-new-s-pen-keeps-getting-stuck.html |
You've said it all. But Android Needs These 3 Windows 10 Mobile Features At first you may ask, are our Android devices not cool enough? Of course there are some cool and stylish launchers that will rock your Android phone but there are still some Window 10 mobile features that if only Android can adopt, will make our android devices more awesome. Let’s quickly dive in and check out what these features are. http://www.techkibay.com/2016/06/android-needs-3-windows-10-mobile-features.html |
On your Gmail, you can choose custom restore for up to 30 days. Hence, any contact added before then will be restored but if you added a contact after that time, it will be lost. Once you finished with the recovery, you need to resynchronize your Android device. If you want to synchronize again, kindly go to settings on your Android device. Under accounts, tap on synchronize, then tap on the sync now button. If you complete all the steps above, your contacts should return to your phone. |
A new tab should open, scroll down and select Restore Contacts. You should see something like this;
|
Get your contacts from your Gmail account You might not know this but your Gmail account has a nice feature that helps you restore your contacts; if you have linked your android device with your Gmail account then you can use this feature. Login to your Gmail account on your computer, open your inbox. On the top-left hand corner, you should see a drop down menu called 'Gmail'. Click on it and select Contacts. (See image below for more illustration).

One of the most important thing on your Android device is your contact, if you've lost one or more of your contacts don't worry. Here is a quick way to bring back those contacts. First, you have to confirm that your contact list is displaying At times your contacts could still be on your Android device but they are just not showing in your contact list. To find them, kindly follow these steps 1. Open your contact list 2. Tap on the menu (the three dots in the top-right corner of your screen) 3. Tap settings and hit contacts 4. Open contacts to display 5. You should see a list of the contacts your phone is set to display. Hit all contacts and all the contacts from your apps should now be displayed in your Contacts list. If you still don't see your contacts displaying, don't worry. Here is another solution |
