One may wonder why the joint-tag identity (Plateau and southern kaduna)?
Well, the people of Jos-Plateau and Southern kaduna have been known to have the same history and origins (Nok) and similar cultures and dialects. We have overtime developed into a mix of similar people only divided by colonial history and political classifications just like the Akwa-Ibom and Cross river people.


Together, we (Jos and South Kaduna people) form the largest bloc of middlebelt minorities with approximately 10 million people and also the largest population of Christians in the Northern part of Nigeria as most of us were converted to Christianity decades ago by the Sudan united christian missionaries. We also have muslim minorities who accepted islam from Bauchi and Zaria.

Anybody who has visited Kaduna and Jos cities (the 2nd and 3rd largest cities in the northern half of Nigeria) will know our people very well because these are our headquarters.
Our region is the 2nd most ethnically diverse part of Nigeria with about 100 different ethnic groups and over 100 languages.

I have really been to different parts of Southern and northern Nigeria and i think i can confidently say that my people are the friendliest and most welcoming people in Nigeria. Also when it comes to beauty, i do not think i have seen anywhere in Nigeria with as much dark skinned beauties as my people (pls am not boasting). .......Meet us......

A promoter of the beauty of Northern/Middlebelt Nigerian peoples.

This thread is focused on the ladies from the central northern part of the country, (Jos-Plateau and Southern Kaduna in particular).
I have observed that most southerners do not know how to differentiate the people of the Core-north/ middlebelt, especially those of us from the upper parts of the middlebelt who understand hausa. They usually generalize the whole north/middlebelt as hausa.

Well i guess this thread and subsequent threads of middlebelt beauties by states will help southerners to be able to differentiate us based on our looks and physical attributes. .
Yes, we may all be politically classified as north and may have many similarities with hausa-fulanis, but we still have our own uniqueness just like the Igbos are different from the South-south minority people even though they share so many similarities with each other.

It is good to expose the culture, faces and beauty of the Northerners because here in the South we don't have any idea of how they look like due to the Northerners strict religious beliefs that forbid their women from exposing their faces and to marry outside their religion.

That has really affect us as country and has denied us the privilege to express our fundamental human rights.


However, I wish the op or anyone interested to open a thread that will afford us the opportunity to choose the most beautiful tribe in Nigeria.

How do we go about it?

Every tribe should post the pictures of the most beautiful girls or women from their tribe on that thread and after that each tribes should choose the best 5 most beautiful girls or women from their tribe for the grand finalise.

We will then all vote for the most beautiful. The tribe that has the highest numbers of the most beautiful girls within the top 10 will be chosen as the most beautiful tribe in Nigeria.

After we are done with the female then we will proceed to the male.

At least, Northerners and Southerns will get to know more about themselves.

Most of their ladies stay indoors and only come out mostly in the evenings to visit each other. Their men do all the work under the hot son

Stop beefing! I made this clear at the beginning of this thread that no group of women in Nigeria can really match this core-northern women because their culture favours the beauty of women more than others.

Most of them use heavy makeup and some are lebaness and not as the OP Portrays

Most of these pictures were gotten from Kano and Zaria online pages, groups and foras.
However there could be some mistakes here or there, but nevertheless most of the ladies here are from Kano/Zaria or they have lived or lived there.

Religious and linguistic difference is the major issue here.
Even we middlebelt and northern christians hardly marry Hausa fulani muslims, however there has been some exceptions overtime, very few though.

Murtala Mohammed is hausa but his wife was yoruba.

Ike Nwachukwu, he is an igbo man but his mother was a fulani woman from Katsina state.

One of Babangida's wife ia delta igbo from Asaba.

Danbaba Suntai, the former governor of Taraba, a christian, yet married a shuwa arab muslim lady.

So, there r exceptions.

Well, at the beginning of this thread i emphatically noted the fact that hausa/fulani women are usually spoiled with luxury by their husbands who do all the hard work.

Hausa women usually stay indoors to pamper and maintain their complexion and skin, most of them hardly come outside. Their men do all the hussling.

Well i have tried my best and i leave the rest to the good moderators to kindly frontpage this piece as we promote the beauty of Nigerian women irrespective of tribe and religion.

Well, i think u may be talking about Southern Kaduna girls.
I guess u know what am talking about? You know that the ladies from the northern part of Kaduna (Zaria) who are mostly hausa-fulani muslims and those from southern kaduna who are mostly christians of minority tribes look quite very different.

I will create another special thread for the glowing dark beauties of Southern Kaduna and Jos-Plateau together. U know we look so much alike. (Plateau and South kd girls).
