Had same issue when I ordered the redmi on slot online. They didn't have it in stock and have since refunded my money.

Forget about making unnecessary fuss online, here's how you go about it.

They sent u a confirmation mail after placing the order which was sent from sales@slot.com or something similar.
So respond to that email and attach your account details and order number asking for a refund since the item is out of stock. Also let em know you got a call from their customer care rep.

They'll respond, letting you know they've received your account details and that it'll take about 7 days or so to process.

I received my refund 48 hours later with the tp.
This life no too hard like that

I have tweeted it about 3 times now, the funny thing is that, the same phone is still being advertised. I am beginning to believe they are delibratelybadvertising a Phone they don't have to mislead Nigerians.

best u do is wait, Honestly, keep in touch always with their care Rep. and always save the details of your conversation too.. u will get ur phone

Is there any representative from Slot on Nairaland? Please get to whoever is concerned, I need my refund, I have reached out on mails and called, my complaint has gotten to their customer service team, yet they are ignoring me

I purchased this phone from SLOT online on the 17th of june, it was 3 days after paying that I was told the product has sold out.

Now slot is promising to deliver after receipt of new order. I am very pissed with the situation. If they don't have the phone why can't they just process my refund, instead of frustrating me. I feel they deliberately listed the phone on their website without having it in stock. Now no phone and my money is still with them. Their representative is no longer picking my calls.

I don't even know how long I have to wait for the new order. What kind of country is this?

I honestly laugh really hard when I hear people say this..see English you have been speaking, reading and listening since birth you couldn't ace it,you now want to learn a foreign language and do reading,writing, speaking and listening and pass in 3 months....please lets be realistic with ourselves... It takes an average of a year of consistent speaking, listening , reading and writing to get a very good score in tef as well as plenty sprinkle of patience,perseverance and hard work...

I know loads of people who studied French in school, went on foreign exchange programs to French speaking countries yet couldn't make a very reasonable score just few were able to do really well. Language is not something you rush to learn..its not like history you can cram and pour. Is it possible to learn even a Nigerian language in 3 months and excel in speaking , reading ,writing and listening? Let's be realistic.

Sorry it might sound harsh ooo but its the honest truth and we all need to take note of such rush rush approach. This process is not easy like that..May God help us all to make the best decisions that will save us time and money.

Hello people, my score in the pool currently is 393, my hubby and myself have masters. My last lelts result was L.7.5, W.6.5, R.7.0, S.7.5. I am taking the IELTS again later this month, I aim to score at least 8.7.7.7 to boost my score. I heard TEF can help boost my CRS score, can someone advise how TEF can help boost my score. I am willing to learn french seriously and try the exam in 3 months to see if it can help.

I just completed my post-graduate programme in NOUN. My thesis was supervised by a lecturer with PHD from FUTA.

My Topic was changed twice. I did a very tough research work and was eventually awarded a distinction by the lecturer. NOUN students thesis and project work are being supervised by qualified lecturers from federal universities. Those lecturers can attest to the quality of NOUN graduates

NOUN is not the school for lazy people. Thousands of students in NOUN absconded when they saw the rigour, discipline and the seriousness of NOUN. When i was pursuing my BSC programme in a conventional university, i did less reading compare to that of my post-graduate programme in NOUN.

So many graduates of NOUN are admitted into conventional universities for their masters and PHD. I have personally introduced NOUN to so many people. If you are not there, you can never know what it entails.
