Do you have an idea of a proposed deadline for this application?

Has anyone been able to acquire the NPC birth certificate recently?
I applied for it, and was asked to comeback in two weeks...
It's the only document preventing me from submitting my application, and I'm really concerned....
Should I upload by my normal birth certificate or age deceleration and submit the application, I can present the NPC birth certificate at the interview center...
Or should I just wait patiently and upload the NPC cert in two weeks time?

Mine was an assumption.

What I did was open my documents and get a screen grab of the page. Then I export to paint and reduce the size using paint.

I was concerned that it would be too small also. However when I did the final print out, after submission, I realized my passport photo was clear enough even after reducing critically to 20kb. So I simply assumed it will be same for other documents.

But they need to be aware that jpeg of 20kb is very small. Infact it is more of a thumbnail of the documents.

With regards to the NPC thing, I am currently in France and just completed my masters program under the Total International Masters Scholarship in the University of Toulouse. As a matter of fact today was my graduation for my Msc. in Safety Engineering that was why I did not reply on time. I am not in Nigeria to get the NPC birth certificate thing, so instead I risked using my affidavit for this part. I have no NPC birth certificate. I risked using my affidavit and submitted the application that way. Better than not submitting at all.

But you are available in Nigeria and like someone suggested go to NPC and get yours.

Crop and Edit your documents,select the sizes you want (length and width) that will compress each doc to <=20kb.More so you can get NPC birth certificate at national population council office in your state.They charged me a thousand naira.

About the NPC BC, Do you mean my state of residence or state of origin?I am far away from my state of origin, I really hope I can get it from the state office of my present location..

If you doubt, This should clear your doubt.....

1. 6 graduates doesn't in anyway represent a fraction of unemployed graduates in any Nigerian state, yet only this six were lucky enough to reach the interview stage.

2. Another Interviewer may have been sent in-place of this one that requested for the cleaner.....but No.

3.This particular clearner may have been absent today maybe as his off day, but guess what? He was on duty, he may also have had an encounter with the company staff that requested that he be interviewed.

It may not be reasonable enough for us to understand but guess what?

But you might have to provide the certificate at some point.

I had same issue yesterday and I really got tired of the process until last night when I found out the trick.

Simply go to the Login Page,

Enter your Username (email),

Then Password : Simply Enter the first "8" characters of your password.....

For Example: If your selected password during registration is Nairaland123, it simply means that your password at the login page would be
Nairalan d123

The part in bold is your login password, the other part is useless.

I think this problem is generated from the Registration page. The Password and Confirm Password Fields accept only "8" Characters

I wonder why Registration Instructions were not given on the site.

This is the best extent to which I can explain.....

e-recruiter is powered by dragnet solutions, which implies that dragnet is the official recruitment firm for the NSE, I think it explains why they didn't accept your hardcopy C.V since dragnet is solely responsible for their recruitment needs.

We should channel our grievances to dragnet solutions for delisting the job post from their site.
I can vividly remember that the deadline should be 5th Feb as at the last time I checked before it was delisted.

I was actually updating my profile to apply for the position when it eventually varnished.

I'm sure the folks at dragnet should have noticed this by now, or better still it wouldn't hurt to ask/remind them. However they might have their reason for delisting it which I might not know, but whatever the case, they should please put it back let's all try our hands on this opportunity please.

You probably applied for an experienced position...
If so then I think the "Payslip" would be to confirm your pay since the last six months by your previous employer, and the "Statement" would be your bank statement probably from your salary account.

But I beg to ask....when did payslips and bank statements become necessary documents for recruitment?

I was following the love transmission of the event and here are my thoughts:

First Dr Jimoh Ibrahim is a very smart man, the way he delivered the lectures, his analysis of the Chinese economy as a model for Nigeria's development is sterling.

Secondly, I think his decision on the sack of the news magazine MD is a calm response to a monumental embarrassment. The News watch managers couldn't keep their houses in order and that's a breach to their titles as managers in the first place.

But I beg to ask.....How did those fellows gain entry to the venue in the first place?

I enjoyed every bit of that event and I simply wish I could follow them all the way to Kenya for the next conference......

Dr Jimoh has a lot in his head, no wonder he is commanding a successful conglomerate....
