giselle237:Thanks for your quick response. Sorry I didn't add that she will be staying with him in the UK for the duration of the visit. So again: Accommodation: Staying with brother Savings: 1.5m Sponsorship: Brother dedicated 1K pounds Flight support: Our dad supports with 1.5m Salary : 450K (Disposable 350K) Duration of stay: 7 days Just thinking about your point on father and brother sponsorship. If we just top-up her current savings with 1.5m and remove the father sponsorship, will this help in any way? Thanks again |
Good morning everyone, I kindly need your support on this: My sister would like to visit the UK to attend our brother's graduation. (7days visit) (She applied for the 7 days leave from work) She earns 450K monthly, spends 100K, 1.5m savings , will be sponsored with 1000 pounds by brother and Dad will sponsor the flight ticket 1.5m. We are concerned if her application makes sense? Thanks |
Kudos to everyone supporting and answering questions. We shall all celebrate |
Deering1008:Hi, Can you please confirm which documents your sister submitted on application before biometrics? Can it be that she skipped some documents which then led to send the email for additional documents ? |
Greetings everyone, I'm curious... If I top-up my POF a few days before my student visa appointment just to make up for the rates, will this affect my application? Do I need to wait the extra 28-30 days circle again? |
iamleye:I think this is quite relative. The officer who checked me last Friday was black, and he looked at my passport so much so that my colleagues began to ask me if there was something hidden in the Nigerian passport which the guy wanted to find. I think the POE experience one gets depends on the mood/instincts of the officer he/she runs into. My next entry will be from Montreal, I hope I meet a jolly good fellow. |

KingDeity:Responding to your first question, Yes, your common-law partner can come with you. In our case, my employer is sponsoring me, and I am sponsoring her. Regarding your second question, ensure that appropriate documents showing your relationship are attached to your application such as pictures of you together, shared bills, shared address etc. Also attach docs to show her home ties as well, e.g work contract, study certificate, residence card etc. My Timeline: Applied : 29th Apr 2023 Biometrics : 8th May BVL & PPR : 25th May My Fiance : Applied : 30th Apr Biometrics : 12th May BVL & PPR : 23rd June Thanks to all the guidance received from the responses in this thread. May God grants us all his divine success in the name of Jesus. Amen |
Kemexy:Please don't let down your hopes. I'm sure a response will come in 2-3 days 😉 |
Greetings house, One question please. Is it ok to create one account with myself as Candidate, and another with my spouse as the Candidate? |
Kemexy:Did you send a webform recently? I sent an additional document via webform on my fiance's application and today I have same message as you mentioned above. Eligibility is also not started. |
Blueace247:Interestingly "kafa" really means "head" in Turkish 😃 |
majesticguy:Tbh, I think Avatar 2 opened up several possibilities to spin the story. Possible paths could be: 1. Sully's son leads Avatars VS Spyder leads Sky people ( my best bet) 2. Sully slowly uniting all Avatars ( Ascending to some kind of Avatar King) against the common enemy. Water tribe + Forest tribe already done Other possibilities..... |
YourBestWriter:Management is not a job, management is a position you grow into based on years of accumulated experience. Management doesn't depend on IQ quotient or academic qualifications, management capabilities comes from actually growing through the ranks to attain a certain level, and then leading people through almost the same or similar routes which you have navigated on different projects or tasks. Actually the success of any team greatly, largely and astronomically depends on the managers ability to manage. The team almost always expect the leader to know what to do, and this confidence to lead comes from years of experience. So your friend can either decide to stay put and probably wrestle to keep afloat, or he could just find a way to actually be a manager overnight. |
9jaBloke:These books made our childhood. This Raliya-the Sugar girl for example, was my one time favorite. Now that İ think of it, i didn't really need TV, reading books as a kid made you create the images and play the script in your head over and over, and in ways that prompted you to ask questions. İt kind of stimulated the thinking faculty. On the other hand, TV is like watching someone's well scripted story, as a kid you can't really add your imagination to a TV show, you just watch and enjoy. So now İ ask....What's better for kids....TV or Books? Or a bit of both? |
immortalcrown:This post should be pinned!!! Infact, could we take it up a notch by adding that "Miracle is for the unbelieving". Faith in God is believing without seeing, without reason, believing in God only because he is God and has redeemed us through Jesus Christ. The greatest gift to mankind is that God who is almighty came down to dwell in us and within us leading and directing our steps daily, but Alas! That isn't a good enough miracle for us...... We simply seek out an unburt bible in the midst of burnt lives and properties....And this is the so called miracle. |
Good day everyone, has anyone here applied for International Tourism Development program at Deggendorf? I will like to get some info on the test |

Today I officially join this race, and declare that It shall end in praise. Amen Thanks @GraciousWords for the very comprehensive compilation. God bless you |
Really unfortunate... Turkey has some of the most beautiful holiday destinations. Cheap and affordable places to enjoy nature. To think that this is happening around the coastal regions is really unfair. Beraber bunlardan da atlatacağız. |
munstaqq:I hope this encourages you. 1. Keeping going, don't stop. Get your hands dirty by doing projects. Create a GitHub repository, get on Kaggle, post the stuffs you've done. Put your tasks out there. 2. When you feel confident enough, and backed by the array of projects in your portfolio, then you start applying for positions abroad. Yes do that, don't feel shy or not good enough, just make good applications. You'll get a lot of rejections, but keep going, all you need is to get just one. 3. When you eventually get one, you'll be given a task to do. This is where you shine. Do the task to the best of your ability. You'll be given an opportunity to present your results. Notice that I didn't mention about your degree yet? Well yes, that's cos in these countries, they first want to know what can you do, can you get the job done? And then they'll look, is he/she educated? Those places it's not about the best certificate for the job, it's about the best fit for the job. 4. And if you do land the job, good for you. They'll relocate you and even your family. And why will they do that? Cos you my friend are the best fit for the job, and they won't spare resources in recruiting your talent. Good luck. God bless you always. Btw...... Accounting is numerical and would be a good foundation for a data Analyst |
Keep up the good work guys. I'm just keeping this here, so I can come back when I'm ready. |
charliesyndrom:i know someone who got admitted into two programs at this school and ended up settling for the LSCM. I'm not really sure the NC frei, but my best guess is that it falls into the category. Hope this helps |
Energygod:I sincerely beg to disagree on this conclusion. I think the action he took is better than nothing at all. Also, I disagree with the generalizations that a people are "very strict". The party on the other end may be a Turkish-German, or Romanian mix or some other race. It's really discouraging to throw in such conclusions especially when it's obvious that the sender is already perplexed from lack of ideas which is really not his fault. Strict, lenient, and other attitudes are human behaviors, they shouldn't always be tied to particular people. |
Bol şans kızlar. |
Heartlessbanker:İn my opinion, Learning to code is not a goal, Knowing what you want to do with a programming language is a better motivation. İnfact call that this, The single enough motivation. You have to find out what is your single enough motivation? İf my little experience help shed some light on what i mean; As at 2011-2012, i already had introductory courses on Java, Php and some C, but somehow i couldn't stick. A friend was already doing stuffs and earning from some projects but somehow i still found a way to lag behind. But fast forward years later, Now I'm reading through documentations, tuning for hyper parameters and all what not, Not because money eventually fell down from the skies, not exactly because the industry eventually became lucrative, but, simply for the fact that I found a passion, and coding happens to be a tool to do the things I like to do. My point is, coding is a tool to reach an end, the goal should be the motivation, not the tool or the need to earn money with the tool. I'm seeing biologist who are coding, economists and even researchers in the field of linguistics who are coding, not exactly because of the money but simply because the goal they wish to achieve requires that they pick up this skill. This goal is your single enough motivation. İn conclusion, your single enough motivation will make you go all the way. Have you ever wondered how some people know about 4 or more different coding languages, How they are almost versatile across different platforms? İ don't think they did that for the fun of learning the language or for the potential money they can earn, instead, i think that on they way chasing their goal, fired up by their single enough motivation, they walked through the corriodors of those skills and picked them up. Money shouldn't necessarily be a goal, money is the by-product of chasing your goal. May God bless us all in our endeavors. |
What's happening, are the Chukwudis seeking help from the one who is their enemy in the first place? İnteresting.... Keep up the good work sir Royver |
kagari:Thanks for your response |
How have we been reduced to recovering and counting? 1, 43 or 110 what difference does it make? People were Massacred People Died What state of disillusionment have we snowballed into oh dear Nigeria? What kind of confusion is this? How has the matter changed from loss of life to number of dead? What achievement is there in having a lesser number of dead people? Will the security outfits be applauded for justifying the number 43 instead of 110? Who benefits from having the heads of fellow humans chopped off? How have we fallen into such pit of blindness and callousness? How can we be politicizing loss of lives? We aren't dead now, but we will surely be....How will you like to be counted so disdainfully? Lord Jesus, Nigeria has failed me, please use me for your will because your kingdom never fails anyone who puts his trust in you. Remind me always that my father land only sees me as a number, and help me never to forget that my true and only identify is in Jesus Christ. Amen |
