TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by spicyuzo(m): 11:08am On Jun 22, 2019
Hy everyone. I kindly need your idea on this issue.
I applied to 3 different schools. The documents were evaluated and I just recieved the response from Uni-assist.
For one the documents were forwarded to the school.
For two others I was told that the documents were not well certified.
I don't understand. I thought only one document evaluation is okay.
Also, I didn't submit different docs for the different schools. So how is this possible please?

The deadline is for the school and Uni-assist. eg. if the school deadline is MAY 1st. Your documents need to get to Uni-assist before that day.

see more information here.

Thank you Jonsnow... You know plenty things Jonsnow. wink

Deustchemann:
The deadline refers to Uni-assist receiving your documents and payment.
Thanks for your prompt response man, you are good.

Just to support, I found this on the Uni-assist FAQ........for posterity sake

The application deadlines of the universities apply only to applicants. uni-assist has agreed on its own deadlines with the universities for processing applications.
Generally, universities do not start their admission process until uni-assist has processed all those applications which have been received complete and within the application deadline.
The most important thing is that your application and all documents have been received by uni-assist by the application deadline. In addition, the handling fees must be paid by the application deadline.
Are you applying for the preliminary review documentation (VPD)? If so, you should allow more time for your application, because you still have to apply to the university directly using uni-assist’s VPD. The above-mentioned agreement does not apply to the VPD procedure.

Greetings to everyone. I need to ask a question.
For some major reasons I wasn't able to send my docs since May...The application deadline for two of the schools I am applying to is 15th June. I sent my docs to Uniassist today and hopefully it will be there before the close of work tomorrow. I just want to know...The deadline does it apply for (applicants)sending docs to uni-assist or for receiving the application from uni-assist (reception by university)?
Thanks in advance my people

I don't know if anyone replied you but let me say the ones I know to the best of my knowledge.

1. Most schools accept notary public certification. Only few schools insist on embassy certification like FAU and Jmu Wurzburg.
So your notarized copy would fly 90% of the time. Please go ahead.

2. Yes some schools accept transcript before completion. Just check the requirements and possibly send them an email to confirm. The distance between ur Bsc and now doesn't matter In most cases except it's for daad scholarship.

3. Uniassist usually makes the school or course you're applying for available a week before application period starts or the day it starts. So kindly Wait or check constantly.

Good luck
Much thanks for your response, I'll use the notary like you've pointed out. Also since my Msc is related to the Bsc I'll attach the transcripts...i believe it will strengthen my application as the Cgpa is also higher than my BSc Cgpa. Thanks again
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by spicyuzo(m): 10:04pm On Apr 07, 2019
Deustchemann:
@ first bolded part, sometimes, some schools are specific on the type of certification they want. It's advisable to know what your school wants. But then, embassy certification seems to be the most popular cos it's free (at least for 5 sets) for those who have proximity to the embassy. High court certification is okay, same as public notaries. But the bottom line is that you should know what your school wants and do it so that your application won't be rejected.

@ second bolded part, though you didn't state the courses you studied for your BSc and current MSc, I think you can add details of the MSc you just completed. It can boost your chances, if they are related. During visa interview, you should be ready to explain to the VO why you want another MSc instead of a PhD.

@third bolded part, you can't create an application on Uni-assist outside the Application window of the school. So, just chill for the start of Applications. If it's 15th, I assure you it will be opened on that same date. You can spend the mean time getting your documents certified.

Hope you're clear now?
Thanks alot for your answer. I'll do as you suggested. My BSc is in Information Management, Msc in Business Information Management. Now I want to get another Msc in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence (it's more technical and I'm specializing in Data Science).
I will add the Msc to my application as I think it will strengthen the application. Thanks again

Hello everyone, I have a quick question. Everyone takes their docs to the embassy for validation, how about Notaries? Is there something unique about getting it done at the embassy? I live in Turkey and there are Notaries around, the embassy in far from my city so I was wondering if my docs will be rejected for using a notary.

Also, I want to apply for an Msc (2nd) in Business Analytics or Data Science. I'm currently on the brink of completing my thesis and I have my transcripts from my current Msc, will I still need to submit my Msc degree(note I don't have it yet), or should I just apply with my BSc as my latest degree (creating a huge gap between 2013 and now).

Finally, I get the message ( "For this study request, the university has not yet approved the application phase. Therefore you can not create an application yet"wink
When I try to create an application, I think it's cos the schools are yet to commence application cos I checked their website, I was just wondering should I forward my docs to uniassist so they can start processing while I wait for the application to start on the 15th?
Good people in the house, please who did I offend na?
Kindly help throw some light on the questions I raised here. I humbly anticipate a reply. Cheers

Humble Greetings to everyone in the house, much respect to everyone who has contributed and is still contributing to this thread.
I humbly seek to ask, I hold a Bsc degree in Information Technology(from NGN) and on the verge of completing my Msc in Business Information Management ( from TUR). I however wish to pursue another Msc in Business Intelligence,/Data Science/Data Analytics and Operations Research from Germany. I'm wondering, will I need to state that I already obtained an Msc, will it hurt my chances?
Secondly, I heard there are Technical universities and normal ones, is there a kind of preference especially if I am considering staying back and working on completion of the program?
Finally, There are numerous universities, can someone recommend some schools from experience may be based on ease of obtaining admission or some other criteria that may benefit my search?
Thanks a lot as I hope to hear from someone soon.

So your 'solution" is for us to cry?

Tears now work wonders?

We should weep while other saner countries would enforce stricter guidelines to prevent lives from perishing like this in the future?

Nigerians should demand good governance, Nigerians should take to the streets if that is what it takes to recalibrate this country. I don't mind shutting it down for weeks if chaos is what would bring lasting peace, we might as well get on with it.

Crocodile tears isn't t going to bring one of those unfortunate souls back, neither will it prevent the next mishap from happening. Let's stop trying to play God. We need to get our acts together.
Crying is only an understatement...
Weep and weep out your hearts because it is the squeaky wheel that gets the oil...

Weep and reawaken the sense of humanity....
Weep and reawaken the sense of responsibility...

A politician that weeps genuinely for a loss of life, will not divert or embezzle funds budgeted for infrastructural development..

Weep out of empathy and watch Nigeria heal through acts of charity.
We have lost our sense of empathy, and this is why someone can embezzle millions without blinking an eye.
We have grown stone hearted...
Let the tears flow as we regain our consciousness and work together as a community of human beings towards rebuilding our Nigeria.
TravelIt Is Mental Sickness To Take Pictures And Videos From Accident Scenes by spicyuzo(op): 12:47am On Jun 29, 2018
It is heart-wrenching to know that the first thing that comes to the mind of someone who finds himself/herself close to an accident scene, or a mishap of any form is to start taking pictures and making videos.

Pictures and videos from the incident at the OtedolaBridge today penetrated all over social-media and news platforms just within a few hours, with different versions of reporting. This threw me into thoughts of how much we Nigerians have degenerated far away from humanity.

What has become of us fellow Nigerians?

Is it a clamour for popularity? Is it an appeal for likes and shares? Is there a bragging right or an award for live reporting from an accident scene? Or just maybe, is there a subtle innermost feeling of joy or satisfaction derived from reporting loss of live and properties directly as it is ongoing?
Please leave the reporting job to the press. Must you be a harbinger of bad news?

I ask you dear Sir or Madam Reporter, is there nothing else you can do to salvage the situation besides running live commentary?
What right do you have to take a video or a photo of people's lives and properties going up in flames?

Did you atleast even try to call the emergency and rescue authorities if that is the least you can do?
In fact, that phone which you are using for your live streaming news service, do you even have the hotlines or emergency numbers of the fire department, police, emergency search and rescue, ambulance service etc, stored on the phone?

What would have happened if most or all the cars travelling along the other lane had stopped, and brought out their car fire extinguishers. Wouldn't it have helped no matter how small, someone probably may have been saved, just one life atleast, or maybe even 1% of the fire may have been extinguished before the arrival of the fire fighters.

Let's now assume someone else called the emergency services, let's assume there is nothing you could do, atleast that is the deceit conviction you have given yourself, does this still justify you to start taking pictures?

You may ask, what then can I do?

Here is your answer.....Cry!!!!
Raise your voice and Cry!!!! Weep my dear brother and Sister.... Scream on top of your voice and weep until you run out of tears...

Weep because that cry you hear in the fire maybe the voice of the breadwinner of an entire family...

Cry because that cry in the fire may be the voice of the only graduate a family has ever produced, or it may be the voice of the only successful business man/woman who is the light of a family..

Scream because that smell of people burning in the fire maybe a group of students returning to their already awaiting family, or a spouse joyfully returning to the arms of his/her loved one after a stressful day.

Weep because while other people battle with maintenance of life quality, we are still battling with low live expectancy rates in Nigeria.

Cry because, just about anything, Anything is a threat to the life of a Nigerian.

Most of all, Hit your chest and weep for Nigeria...
Weep because most of the reasons why thousands of lives are lost in Nigeria, is not even a threat to the life of a stray animal in other countries..

Weep because the people we have entrusted to serve us, fix the potholes on our roads, provide us with alternative routes, provide us with basic amenities, ensure good town planning etc, are now the same people that will fly over our heads in helicopters and jets, while we burn and roast on the roads that are dilapidated and in utermost disaster.

Weep because while an entire force can be reshuffled and interogated for the loss of life of one citizen in some countries, we are conducting mass burials on daily basis here in Nigeria, and no one is held responsible for such impunities.

Fellow Nigerians, let it be clear to us that we are in no way better than those that lost their lives today or have lost their lives in situations like this in the past.
Let it be known to each and every one of us that we are in no way entitled to live even one minute longer than any of those people who lost their lives today.
No sane person goes out of his home with plans of dieing along the way, it is in no way by our power or our might that we are alive. It is strictly by the mercy of God that we are saved, let us therefore not take pleasure in taking pictures and videos from scenes, when people are in pains and anguish.

May the souls of those who lost their lives rest in the bossom of the lord, and may God grant the families the fortitude to bear the loss. Amen

We are humans, we are sensitive to the plight of fellow humans, we are different, We are Nigerians.
God save Nigeria!

Why is Nigeria such a cursed land...Why do we not hear Results of İnvestigations on the News headlines?
Why do we have to hear about investigations that hasn't even commenced on News headlines..... Aren't these supposed to be classified information until someone or some people have been indicted in these investigations?
How is this News supposed to help this investigation?
That's if this investigation is REAL....

İn Summary: Nigeria is a country where some group of people are paid to churn out different News headlines daily (both real and unreal), with the sole purpose of keeping the public blind and talking, while taboo and incomprehensible corruption is pepetrated in high places..

I have cried and I have no more tears to shed for Nigeria. There once a country called Nigeria but in it's place a Jungle of untamed canivores, omnivores and paper-swallowing wild animals has taken.
Farewell to a country that once was.

I have watched 'Kara Para ask'. It's Interpretation in English is 'Black Money Love.' I must say, it is the bomb! It was aired on FoxL Africa and it's also on YouTube.

It stars Engin Akyurek and Tuba Buyukustun. For his outstanding role in the series, Engin got nominated for best actor category in the prestigious Emmy International award.

The guy is one of the best in Turkey and can give any Hollywood actor a run for his money. And might I add that he's also very good looking.

The first episode on You Tube is English dubbed. I think the rest are subtitled.

We might not have same taste, but I'm certain you're bound to fall in love with the series.
I rushed down to this Thread to Announce the Thrilling Awesomeness of KPA but then you have beat me to it...
Honestly, Turkish series are splendid...
I'm certain it will beat most of those Indian series off the Nigerian screens...
I completed Cesur ve Güzel (Brave and Beautiful) immediately after KPA, just cos I was blown away by Tuba Büyüküstün's performance...
İn summary I highly recommend Turkish Series and I wouldn't even mind Translating an entire episode just to promote the Awesomeness...

Ironical, isn't it?
First, Congratulations on securing the job. As ironic and abysmal your performance was at the interview, It is worthy of commendation that the interview team were able to spike your ego and maybe that made you perform somewhat better in trying to defend your claim on the job. But then finally, you got the job, so in your perceived "bad performance" you exhibited an amazing quality that landed you the job.

Hello people, I am currently in abuja. Been here since monday....I shall be leaving tommorow so i decided to go on a C.V sharing spree today....

I am presently in a bus headed to finance bridge( the only bus stop i know) from maraba....

I am armed with copies of my C.V and Credentials however i don't have a destination as i do not know where to go....

So I ask, please support my course today....Where can i submit my C.V?

I understand that droping a C.V cannot gurantee anything....but then let it be recorded in history, that I did everything in my power to get a job touring from lagos to abuja....

So please, support my operation "C.V for All Ministries"

Where should i start....

P.s..who knows where the FCSC Office is?
