lastchild:Charlie you lie. Duncan hasn't been mainstream of recent but timaya is that's why. In the days of his first and sophomore album where he even featured some ghanaian acts and sang Akwaaba the streets of Ghana were rocking. Everyone is entitled to their opinion sha. But for him to say he should not be compared to rubbish he's the rubbish. How dare he label another act who is arguably bigger "rubbish" or he wants us to come for him with our Port Harcourt shots of Omah Lay and Burna Boy. |
lastchild:Everywhere they play songs in Nigeria, Duncan is being heard so it's either you've not gone out of Port Harcourt in your life or you don't know Duncan. |
Timaya would have said no need for comparison's but calling a fellow Port Harcourt boy rubbish who can match up to him is very shallow and stupid of him. In fact for this, Duncan is bigger than him. |
PrinceOfLagos:I know what you're trying to do but shove it up your axx or simply suck it up. |
How much per word? |
JuIiusmalema:I swear, it's getting ridiculous here. |
50k words a day? And 10k words for 3000? Man you gotta be kidding me. ![]() |

Karaye - the Journey 6:am and my bus peeled out of the banks of the great calabar river. Away from the University of Calabar, one university with a population of 50,000+ yet the air is unstuffy Destination was Kano - Northern Nigeria Purpose was to serve and the thanks was for Gen Gowon Rtd 28 hours later I was greeted with the scorching heat of the sun as the dusts welcomed me to Kano Next was Karaye even though the waters of Kusalla damn didn't roar to acknowledge my presence I felt welcomed I've sang the national anthem for the better part of my existence and here I was poised to fulfil it Every morning reality beckons with the sound of a bugle is succeeded by whistles Sleep is a luxury too high to afford Double up is the mantra Fear of the north resonates from the background Cries of deployment although silent are more louder than the NYSC anthem Everyone is healthy but sick at the same time Why is heat so hot and why is cold so cold? Harsh realities of the North Insecurity, religious tension and the Boks are sincere worries But one thing is crystal clear, when death decides to have you for an evening snack Your location is the least of his worries, whether it's Aso Villa or on the death fields of Sambisa The south where I'm from and the north my present host are both divergent world's and NYSC is the bridge We've aggregated at the Kusalla Dam from different parts of Nigeria and we won't be damned Kano will be our new love, fear would be a distant cousin and joy will be the child As we number our days to the exit of Karaye The soldiers who stole the keys to our morning happiness, the morning drills, the drums, the mami market and the mami waters we take there The kitchen and their fantastic meals, the parades, the white shorts and shirts and the colored waters of Kusalla dam that defiled the laws of chemistry will remain etched in our hearts memories will be relished years after and tales of the exploits will be recounted by the moonlights If wishes were horses, the sun should take a chill pill, the cold should take a wife and be warm, 9mobile should be stable, camp food should cross our throats and let's not clamour for relocation since "fear the north" will change to "fear not" somewhere hope is lurking in the form of allawee with the 3 to the O and the letter K is a suffix It won't be the first of the many hopes an average Nigerian is akin to God bless Karaye our host, the waters of Kusalla shall never run dry and may we never regret staying back Spiff Wright Batch C 2019/2020 Kano State |
Astra101:there's a place in Kano called bare bari. I don't understand all these names |
Make them no do oh. I de enjoy this light. |
Ugo4hotish:Who be this one? |
Reno talks too much for a man. Let Buhari government do and end so we'll see what he'll criticize next |
She don reduce oh |
That's 360 bucks for 450 words. It's alright. |
So what's the benefit now. If not that you told you us the gown looked ordinary. Like one hired gown anywhere in Aba or Abuja |

Equal Opportunity? Na wa oh |
obembet:Well said bro. But I've seen traffic for more than 30 mins in Port Harcourt. On multiple occasions. |
All these research wey we no de see the head. Everybody wan cash out with govt money. |
kalu61:Which is why they developed Lagos and Abuja and left Enugu to rot. I like their no discrimination policy. |
The traffic congestion at Ada-george by Pepperoni and location is increasingly becoming unbearable. Yet no traffic light there and no plans for a flyover. Only Aba Road has 8 flyovers why Ada George is as wide as that road and even more promising but Wike is focused on one stretch. Can't he do a flyover in Omoku town must everything be in PH. Go to Delta they have towns competing with Asaba same with Anambra, Edo, and even Akwa Ibom. In Rivers once you delete PH, no one has any business in the state again. |
I thought there's a flyover already in Kaduna Street junction. Does he wants to expand it or what? All these low flyovers sef. Can't he replicate one of the kinds seen in Kano? Abi Kano get money pass Rivers? |
Pearly255:of course |
Make that VC come nairaland, e go suspend students tire till school go empty. The guys didn't even say much that could trigger anything of the sorts the VC was insinuating. And why will a school have only one bank? |
mightyhazel:Go and ask Wike |
BastardWike:Gee chill, the protests degenerated into all sorts of unfortunate incidents in Oyigbo. Police men and soldiers were killed, police stations burnt and even court building. And then it was almost turning to a tribal war between the Hausas and Igbos. Add all of that to soldiers coming to retaliate their fallen colleagues and imagine what would happen if everyone was allowed to move freely. Although the curfew lasted beyond normal, you should look at the precursors and stop blaming Wike. Oyigbo is not the only place with Igbos in Rivers. There was also curfew in Ikoku but things in Oyigbo heated up beyond control. You IPOB'S like crying fowl to gain international sympathy thanks to MNK and his antics. We know all these plots. Go and chill mbok. |
Why are you losing sleep. The IPOB'S killed six soldiers and they're retaliating you're here blaming Wike. |
