Besko: Currently in Agric (Ikorodu axis) with about 16hrs per day power for last one week.
Moreover, since April 2021, I've 247 power thanks to solar power I installed with more or less #100k (I earned from resealing one of my domain names sold for N107k/$250)... i.e.
1. 200w panel = 20k (fairly used but new as much... Band new is about 30k+)
2. 100ah deep cycle battery = 35k (brand new)
3. 1000w sachet solar inverter = 18k (brand new)
4. PMW Solar battery charger (30A) = 4k
5. 15m solar wire = 7k
6. Transport (8k) and installation (DIY with YouTube)
All bought from Alaba (check out prices on jiji too)
Between, I'm a programmer too ... The solar system'll carry all ur 5w bulbs, charge all ur phones, rechargeable standing fan (247) and PC (for at least 15hrs a day).
Although planning on adding another 100ah battery and 200w panel ASAP to boost the power generation during bad weather.
Was actually at the verge of killing myself due to the epileptic power supply (sometimes we go 8 days without power then and I hate generator n the noise...so don't ever consider it) – till I could sought this out myself by God's grace... Already feeling as if I were in charge n control of my destiny now! Don't really (emotionally) care so much about the govt n the looting anymore. However, still concerned that millions of smart brains are languishing in lack just only bc they couldn't afford COMMON electricity.
All I know is that these leaders that v made the lives of these millions around the world so difficult will definitely end in misery n the hottest part of the hell awaits them. but it's the charging part. It rains all the time where am at. |

Rebelutionary: Having stayed for atleast a couple of months in some cities from Maiduguri to PH, Lagos-Enugu, Lokoja to Kano, Abuja to Akwaibom etc I can categorically tell the Op that in ALMOST EVERY STATE...there is always a part that enjoys that level of stability in electricity that you seek...ask around if you need to relocate!
Sometimes i wonder when i come to nairaland and i read about some nationwide blackout!! Yeah but I don't trust this Port Harcourt even the Woji they say is having steady power before you know one thing will spoil and they'll stay without power for weeks. |

I'm a freelancer, I'm tired of buying fuel, fixing generator all the time, paying PHCN bills with erratic power supply. If the poles don't fall, then it's low current or meter will have issues. I'm ready to relocate to anywhere even if it's in a village provided it has stable power supply all year round and preferably not coming from PHCN. I'm even willing to relocate to a neighboring African country with guaranteed power supply. Your suggestions are welcomed thank you. |

CharisEleos: Now, this is what I've been meaning to share with anyone it may concern but I see most people don't like that line so I'm most times reluctant to share it. Glad this opportunity came up though.
This is/was how I developed myself to be able to survive the harsh economy that was hit by the global meltdown some years back and it has been my saving grace till today. At least to some extent compared to if I didn't take that bold step to develop myself.
Before the global meltdown, I was thriving in my profession as a secretary/ PA. After the meltdown, it became very difficult getting that nature of job and if I got it, is either I face sexual harraments and get laid off or settle for jobs that I didn't find fufilling due to the demanding nature or paywise.
I decided to go into teaching full-time but it was still demanding with meagre pay. That was when I decided to develop myself by going back to study a part-time subject so I can go into part-time teaching and be able to manage my time, job, spiritual and personal life effectively.
After that, I resigned from my full time job and started getting schools to teach on part-time and i charge what I was earning per month as a full timer then per school now and it's just once a week.
So, you can actually have 5 schools, or more but with more schools, you'll need extra hands and extra hands requires you pay but then it's still lucrative because if the extra hand is covering 5 schools x 30k that is 150 a month and you pay her 40k. You'll gain 110 a month from her side plus the 5 you are covering.
Now, even if you're the lazy type who just want to stick to your own or Maybe you're having a challenge getting good hands, you'll still thrive.
Schools are really looking for these part- time Teachers. Eg are
Phonetics French Yoruba. Computer appreciation Cursive and Nelson Writing
Now, I'm planning to go study french to add to what I already have. So I can also be both a French and Diction Instructor in the schools I work. God helping me.
If you want to train to be a certified phonics/ Diction Instructor, PM me. Ill train you for a token amount and you'll be awarded a certificate by a certified Academy. It's going to be an online training with audio.
The Lagos State ministry of education has finally included phonics and phonetics subjects to their curriculum. So the demand for phonics instructors will be high. Don't miss out.
PM only, Please. This part time teaching can you elaborate on it ? Never heard of it. I've pmed you though. |
