Take the comments of politicians serious at your own peril. Politicians will claim anything and debunk anything just to spite opponents and gain favor from the other side. And yes even if it means claiming another tribe. Go and ask Amaechi now what he thinks. And by the way for those who claim name is a pointer, how come an ijaw man with Azikiwe and Ebele is not Igbo. You see most of you are just too quick to claim anyone bearing Igbo name. That name might come from his mother's side but you just claim the person is Igbo. Amaechi with no business with Yoruba bears rotimi, while he was slamming Jonathan why didn't he ask himself if he can speak Yoruba with his Rotimi. You see why you shouldn't take these men serious?

Will Pay Utomi, Elumelu, Mercy and the rest listed Glady accept to be labelled Igbo? and possibly deny their isoko, ikwerre or anioma tribes? These people have times without number debunked their Igbo descent and linked their ancestry to somewhere else, yet you keep dragging them. Yet you call them underachievers but will be glad to flaunt their successes and tag them Igbo. So many Edo people bear Yoruba names and speak the language that doesn't make them Yoruba. It is you who has low esteem.

I know; my articles are a bit controversial. I know that most things i say are not the usual conventional dating advice you hear all the time. I know that some of the things i reveal here gets a lot of people angry.

Stay with me; i will make this clearer. showing a girl attention is like kerosine - when you pour in a little at a time into a burning firewood - it is fine. BUT when you get a full cup of kerosine and empty it on that same firewood; you have a problem.

Guy, this is real life. What happens in movies rarely happen in real life, bro.

Funny thing is that while you are bombarding a girl with all these attention she is also wondering why she doesn't like you "in that way". When a girl meets a sensitive, caring, attention giving guy they think things like:

- He is such a nice, caring sweet guy - why don't i like him enough to date him.
- He is always there whenever i want him, why don't i feel like dating him.
- Let me keep him around, maybe with time i will start to like him.
- I don't want to hurt him, let me just be nice with him. But the thing is i just don't feel "it" for him.
- He is just a friend, he is nice but i can't date him - i can't bring myself to like him that way.

True enough, girls end up dating this type of guys but the fact is this; it is very RARE and most times when they do date the guy it is usually out of pity and not because they really like him as a boyfriend.

that's because Akwa Ibom was empty, they had to span out across the nation in search of opportunities and even now that they are coming up, relocating back is still a problem. Port Harcourt became a melting pot in the oil boom. Everyone wanted to come to the city and then you expect it's indigenes to leave that melting pot and travel out?

Dude people travel for greener pastures, Rivers is the second largest economy, apart from seeking better education and tourism what are they travelling for, even at that there are many rivers people in Lagos. The bulk of my family was born and breed in Lagos, some rivers people school in Unilag, some work in Lagos, don't say what you don't know. All these hasty generalizations that Rivers people don't travel needs to end. until you conduct a statistics and come up with the results stop saying what you don't know. I'm posting from Kano and we have an association of Rivers indigenes here.

I'm not a fan of Wike but when I see something good I appreciate it. I enjoyed the amusement park at Eleme junction as a kid. This resurgence in tourism is not bad at all.
