ironbender101: Please how do you mean? I want to create a new pounds account and then fund it and transfer. Can my school charge my card? or is there any other way? banks here dont bid anymore apart from BDC's.... Most schools allow you to pay with your debit card online or via phone. Just ask them The money gets converted with CBN exchange rate and no charges apply. If your school does not allow card payments, go to your bank and tell them you need to pay school fees in the UK. There's a new procedure for that now. |

ironbender101: @spikesc @justwise and @all. I have about 27,000 pounds in my savings account which is about 7million Naira. My tuition fee is 11,700 pounds and I want to pay from this account. I want to transfer about 3million naira to my exchanger's account to buy pounds. I'm a bit worried if this could raise a red flag in my statement if I make this withdrawal should I source for other money else where and pay ma tuition fee? No, it will not. BTW, why exchanging from blackmarket when u can pay directly either with your debit card or through bank transfer |

tbaba1234: Boko Haram is an aberration, yes, they claim to follow Islam but their ideas and actions could very easily have pushed them out of the fold. And Allah knows best.
It is an unintelligent, shallow interpretation based on a cultish mentality. They reject intellectual refutations based on the Quran and sunnah because their actions can not stand up to it.
That is the problem. That, is quite understandable but doesn't make them any less of an islam. You wouldn't debate that most of what they believe in are islamic laws. We have them in our own bible. It is up to the individual to decide what he follows and up to other people to respect those views; And the only difference between BH and other moslems is the later |

udatso: this is a wonderful analysis. this thread would be used as a reference for those who still think this is a Muslim Is it that you didn't read the post or you chose to be daft? They're pushing islam to its core. Their ideas not talling with yours doesn't make it not being 'islam'. Afterall you guys have sunni and shi'a islam just like we have catholic, pentecostal etc. Deal with the problem at hand and stop playing the blame game |

dominique: Sometime a man came here with pictures that his 2 year old neice has brain tumour and needs millions to operate abroad. This year, another came saying that his mum had stage 5 lung cancer and kidney disease and needs millions to keep her alive. Turned out they were nothing but pure scams. I suppose we should have pushed those threads to homepage so as not to seem heartless right? This is a faceless forum, one needs to be very careful before rushing to give out cash. If you find out that you've been fooled once, you may end up neglecting those that are genuinely in need. That's not your call, you don't get to decide who's genuine or not. You're not the alpha and the omega of charity neither are you a financial chancellor. You move it to frontpage to create awareness, people should then verify on their own. If anyone verifies, he/she will come back and tell us all. If you've taken up the job to verify people who need and demand help, then you should execute that job urgently and accurately. 23rd October is 2 weeks plus, so? |
