Yeah, I like there game play but you know that's not what am talking about. No one likes a predictable game. The fun of a game is the unknown. GozieDiora: You see, I liked the part where you said, "...so much so that PDP & APC will have clearly defined ideologies!". In fact I love it. That will bring us close to what we have in the Western world.
But I dislike the part where you added, " The only way we can however get there is to kick start this by voting out PDP at the national level in 2015. 16 years is no joke. Let's try another party ". Here is my reason; since we have not yet gotten to the level where each of these parties will have distinct and well define ideologies, it would be rather unbecoming to vote out candidates simply because of the fact that he is of a particular party and this party has ruled for long. Still perching on the fact that these parties do not have any particular ideologies they can be described with yet other than mere political propaganda, it follows that each candidate has his own approach not driven by any party perception, ideology or philosophy and therefor our voting should be individual oriented and not party oriented.
Are we voting out GEJ cause PDP has led for long, is PDP one person? Do all PDP candidates have the same ideology? You have answered it yourself: NO, PDP as a party do not have a common ideology yet and, for now, it still burns down to individualism.
If you want to vote GEJ out, let it be cause he has not done well and that you have an obviously better candidate and not cause PDP has led for long. My take. No be wetin them ask you ooo They're voting out all PDP members because they've ruled for 16 years and replacing them with APC members who, ironically, are part of those who ruled for those 16 years and still have nothing to show for it. And then you ask, are Nairaland political bigots ok in the head? Do they have short memory? Or are they really paid agents? Cos that's the most reasonable explanation |

justwise: lol...can you remember the first time Arsenal paid a player more than £100,000 a week? And isn't that affecting the club? When you guys cant spend money for a big turn around. The team is just there, year in year out playing the same lifeless game...lol Non of their fans expect much. It's like an already planned and executed set of instructions Do you see how we always make the news, winning or not How many top teams are at the bottom of the table, yet the media doesn't bat an eye. It's called expectations, glory. It's called football We sell the papers |

Mrbeee: Good day everyone. One of the documents listed in my CAS is my transcript and my date of birth on it has an error - day and month wrong but year is correct. What might be the implication of submitting this transcript as it is? Will not not be a case of supplying false information? Note that I have tried to rectify the error at several times but it's not been fixed and it's difficult getting a note from my undergraduate school acknowledging the error. If the situation may give an unfavorable visa application outcome, what options do I have. Thank you as you assist. (mrbeee) Swear an affidavit and submit with it |

Melv: Hi, I need advice from someone about applying for tier 4 general student visa, I applied for a visa in August it was refused and I couldn't got to university in September so I applied to another university for January start. The issue is when they returned my Documents my original birth certificate did not come with the rest documents and I need it to apply for this new visa, as my maintenance funds are in my parents account, I am planning to apply for a new birth certificate and put a copy of both the old and new one and explain in a letter and possibly swear affidavit of what happened, would this work out? Thanks so much You don't need to swear an affidavit of 'what happened' but I would advise you swear an affidavit of your date of birth as it is anew acceptable replacement for a birth certificate. But make sure you include the letter and ask them for the birth certificate. That being said, on what ground where you denied as withholding a document means it is fake and carries a ban |

Not long after that my uncle started misbehaving in his office shell petroleum, and he was sacked when he was on the verge of being sent abroad for training. Fast forward 25 years later, his friend they entered shell together as a trainee retired as the GMD of shell and runs a thriving oil and gas firm till date. Instead of people to take their relatives to psychiatric hospitals and find out their problems, they would find one stupid reason and tag a naturally/scientifically explainable situation. My worry is that I am told applicants are refused based on time constraint issue and I am also aware December/January is a peak period for visa applications, hence, my request for additional time...
Further, I except that visa applications are on first-come-first-serve basis...
From experience, Lagos or Abuja? Which is likely to be faster? BTW, I live and work in Lagos.
I have hit the panic button You have 15 working days so they can't deny you because of time. Submit at Abuja if you can |

Have you seen the my earlier comments? My Visa application will be submitted on the 27th of this month and my course starts in February. I just want ample time, not for myself, but for the ukvi.
You frankly think my visa application will fall short because of this time constraint? Hence, I should ditch the visa application? 27th December to February? that's enough time |

Dokitadotun: My brother, speaking in tongue is speaking in languages from your spirit n not from the mind as it is naturally with everyman. Your mind does not understand what your spirit is saying(except you have the gift of interpretation of tongues). I once heard of a christian who speak in tongue with chinese language without him knowing what language it is. I don't think you read that part well, pls focus on this part 6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language. They heard the message in their own language. If you like speak Cantonese, if i don't hear it in Igbo i'll assume you're talking nonsense |

Dokitadotun: @Op, you don't need to speak in tongue to make heaven but you need it on earth to maximize your spiritual potentials. The bible ...building up yourself, praying in the holy ghost. Praying in tongues refreshes you. You cannot experience it n say it is not real. For those who say they don't believe it, fitst, God did not says everybody will believe,no!. Those who believe it are blessed says the bible. Many people approach the things of God with critical mind hence God's way is veiled from them. If you humbly seek God and his ways he will reveal himself to you. Remember, God resist the proud... Pls, where did you get those. Any prove? bible links? or like always, you're saying what you think? BTW, John 20:29 King James Version (KJV)
29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.Stop turning a verse of a bible to preach what is not written Revelation 22:18-19 King James Version (KJV)
18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.Read your bible and stop preaching what you don't know. |

Acts 2:5-12 King James Version (KJV)
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?I still dey find that person wey una talk say dem dey speak in tongues |
