Bambamzzzz: Please am new here, my application was refused because ECO did not see my naira bank statement where 5m was there for 28days and he was using my other back up statement.my school is resuming on sept 15th I want to re apply with just one bank statement now and I want to send admin review for the refusal because the statement of account was there pls I need your advise

Hi, good morning. I went for my appointment at ikj yesterday but i was tld to go for a tb test. So i paid yesterday ( till awaiting appointment date). My questions are as follows
1. How long wld the whole process of test n collection of result take.
2. Concerning my visa appointment, do i have to reschedule or can i still use the one dated yesterday and just explain at the gate. Thanks

1. You go for the test on your appointment date and you come back for the certificate the next day.

It depends on an individual application.
28days? i presume you applied for a tier4 visa, therefore there was never any requirement of 6months. You can open a fresh account and deposit the money, wait for 28 days and print the statement.

Same bank account? That is very risky if the amount is not for both of you.

the remaing 1940 will be paid immediately after 17weeks which the initial payment will cover me for

You can only pay for your visa application online.
Any Nigerian bank issued payment card will work for you. And you don't even need a token to say the least

Yes, they're processing it now so it is safe.
Only one person has recieved his, he applied for visiting visa.

You got it all wrong. In it's basic form, he was advising you not to include in the letter the story that your school gave a go ahead even though there was an error.
It would not favor you because you're liable to all information provided.

Just tell them you made a mistake, that's all

@SpikesC, What if I am using my parents account? Must the money be in my own account? The money is actually in my mother's account.

That's ok. But you're now required to submit a birth certificate which should ofcourse mention your name and your mother's name.
Also, a written letter, from your mom, that clearly states that you're her daughter and that she would be sponsoring you

You have to deposit the full maintenance fund + remaining school fees in your account for 28 consecutive days, print a statement of account covering those days and submit with your visa application

GVA: Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen!!!.
The things I am seeing on this thread is beginning to scare me. I made a mistake on my form ohhh!!!!.
I selected the Yes option indicating that i had paid my fees and in another section of the form i selected yes that i had outstanding payments to be made. This error was due to the school rep who claimed he cross checked and everything was fine with my form.
Please is there any way this could be remedied ?

I would appreciate if the elders in the house could be please share any useful tips on how the Visa Interview might go and what may be required of me.? The school representative that i have been liaising with is not really forthcoming.

Photocopy your certificates and all docs you cant easily get back. They tend to withhold documents randomly

myfuture: Please people, I need your opinion on this; the date of birth on my WAEC certificate does not tally with the one on my international passport but the school I applied to said that for English language qualification,no documents are required to be submitted as evidence of it. Actually I am going for a master's programme. My question is whether the British embassy will still want to see my WAEC certificate.

No they won't as far as its not written on your cas

ruksy: Please o, I am seeing many things and I have become a bit fretful.
I have filled and submitted my application but some answers i supplied are beginning to confuse me.
Okay, for the english language requirement, my school didn't ask me to submit any english language document and I even submitted my ielts cert to them but they didn't put it in my CAS. So in that section, I chose assessment by HEI and english language waived as a result of me being a gifted student. I hope I haven't done wrong there.

Secondly, the part where they asked me of I have been assessed by any other means, I picked 'yes, by academic certificate' as stated on my CAS.

Thirdly, I made a mistake when filling the section where they asked me if I have had any other Visas to the UK . The mistake was in the date. The expiration was supposed to be 06 Apr 2012 but I put 2011 by mistake. I sent a message to the Visa4Uk email to notify them of the mistake, I hope they get to fix it before my appointment time on monday. I was told by a friend that I should tell the people who will interview me.

Should I be worried? Confused much.

However, I also thing it's a big mismanagement on the Home Office part reason being that you can't take a job from a bad worker and give it to a worse worker. Either their management is poor at managing reshoring, or they dunno what their problem is, hence they can't find the right company to help facilitate, for example visa applications.

I am not really saying that teleperformance has poor management generally or that this will go on forever, i am just saying that, for now, submitting at VI is a risk one can only attempt at his peril.

UKVI is also to be blamed really, and i do not fancy how they're handling the issue. Maybe because they really don't know what's going on.

But teleperformance has failed in all ramification. This is not their first time to handle visa processing. They're currently providing such services in many countries.
So why this kind of eff up with all their technology equipment and processes.

You get your activation code from gtbank online banking portal, then move on as directed.

To pay on the visa4uk website, when they send you to worldpay, you'll have the option to chose between mastercard, visa, paga etc.
