You may not be far from the truth but then you gotta realise that they have just taken over a process from vfs bout a month ago (though not an excuse for poor service).
There r still people who have received their visas from VIVAC. There's only much they (VIVAC) can do. Needless to add, the duration of visa processing lies to a great extent with the UKHO rather than the Application centres.

kemkem30: I will apply as a tier 4 (Sponsored) then, because picking tier 4 (general) means counting 28 days.

sisit: I quite disagree with u.Submitted @ Teleperformance on 10th july and got a txt msg on 5th Aug for pick up and visa was approved.

Guess we should be more careful about how we quantify/qualify things. Think it's best to approximate than generalise.
In all, I think the delay here n there, which cld also be affecting VI is becos of the Peak season rush.

Just received a mail that my application has been approved and my visa issued about an hour ago... I'm just so happy because to be honest, I kinda had some doubts about the application thing which was the final hurdle in the journey to studying in the UK... Still can't believe it..

DO you advise i update my Bank statement now? or its just fine?
