Moving on to certifications and trainings too, which do you figure to be must-haves to ensure greasier entry into the sector and faster skillset acquisition for newbies?

Mostly web development and server administration as it currently pays my bills.
Unfortunately, am not a fan of certifications.

It doesn't matter if you don't have accommodation before applying.
You don't have anything to worry about accommodation as far you have the funds. What people are advised to do is, you look for accommodation online, tell the landlord you're coming to see it as so so date. Then when you land, you lodge in a hotel for a few days, view the houses, pay and move in.

Is accommodation really the reason why you're deferring or you have any other worries?

Jeffflo: Indeed. Perhaps present best practices are priced out of the reach small coys, but there really are no reasons for the bigger ones to not adopt them, based on economies of scale at the very least.

Cloud computing is very cheap with the advent of Amazon, Google and other small companies. The competition is too much and demand is relatively low. You pay for what you're currently using and your cost increases relatively to your demand

Online storage for example offers the cheapest possible method of backup and data transfer

So, after 27 working days (exclusive of 2 public holidays), my visa is out.

Got no single mail from UKVI, only got this mail from teleperformance:

Dear Valued Customer,
We are contacting you to notify you that your visa application request has been received at the application center and is ready for pickup.

Tracking also changed to Ready for collection

tobee: Hello Gurus in the house, I want to find out if I can print my statement of account myself from internet banking or I need to get the bank's print out.

There are so many requirements you need to meet up to before the online printout can be accepted which includes going to the bank for stamping.
So just go to the bank and request for the statement for visa applications

Bambamzzzz: Guys i need your prayers oh and @spikesC thank GOD i called oh because the manager in charge of African student said that she not will sign the reissue of my cas said she is mad at me and she has been refusing to reissue me another cas because she think i will not follow the instructions that will be given to me here by there agent when i am submitting the second application.
So the agent here said she has been pushing it for me and gave me her email to send her an email saying that i will follow the instructions by there agent here and use only one bank statement that has the whole money needed inside and i have sent the email to her and the email was acknowledge,so i am waiting t hear from them tomorrow because my agent said she will call her tomorrow and push further for me .
Please i need your prayers oh so that she can change her mind and reissue my CAS

The email might have just been an automated message and the lady would not want to press them as she even has other things and clients to attend to.

I would say yes, call them. When they move ur mail to the cas/finance department, ask them to forward your call there too.

This is the very busiest time for UK. schools as people get their exam results and are looking for places.

If you start demanding then your application might just go to the bottom of the pile!

When you send the school, or even any organisation, an email, it gets queued up. The worst is if it's under the general international email box.

Now, from my many years experience, a caller is priority. You call the school/organisation, tell them that you sent them an email. They will ask for your personal details, find the mail and confirm reciept. They then move it to the appropriate department and forward your call to them.

Still on the phone, you tell that person ur request and explain the situation, they get to skip the others and do yours immediately.

Cas generation doesn't take more than 5 minutes, the problem is always the queue. All my CAS came out same day that payment is confirmed. It will only cost me some minutes.

btw, when i said insist, i didn't mean typical Nigerian big man harassment

Call them on the phone and insist they send it today because you no longer have time.

I have said this before, you cannot apply for a new visa and also file for a review on your old application which was denied. You have to chose one, a review or a new application

I have never had tb but i react to things(sometimes just ordinary tea can get me coughing) and the major manifestation is cough. So i am worried that, this my affect my xray. TB and cough is not the same thing. You have an alergy, not TB. When i did mine, i was having very deep cough. Yet, it turned out negative.

But they told me i had a problem with the structure of my lungs. They gave me extra materials, a CD containing the scan and a document describing it, all sealed. They told me to see a doctor and that i should present those to him.

I came back, gave it to my brother, a medical doctor, after reading the hard copy document, he dismissed it as cough. Within days it was all over

Now you reminded me of it, i think am gonna go read that CD
Hopefully, he's still with it

You're good to go on the 15th of August.
You can print ur statement, make payment and can even submit on that 15th if u get an appointment that day

4. Printout of online application
5. Oanda conversion printed after i submit my online application
6. TB certificate

8. Marriage certificate,change of name and court affidavit (because my surname I'm using in bank statement is my husband surname while all my papers are all my maiden name)

You cannot do a review and also apply for a new one at the same time. You have to chose one process

The review is the way out now unless you want to reapply but note that reviews take a long time.
I also hope the statement is an official statement meets the requirements

justwise: She can travel to the UK any time from Sept 6th upwards, students are allowed to come to the UK a month before the course starts. You need time to settle, get accommodation, know your way around the city before the course starts.

I understand that quite alright, but shouldn't they have stamped her visa to start from 1 month before her course start date?
That way, things get clearer and she avoids any problem that might occur because of misunderstanding and ignorance at the Nigerian airport and possibly, at the POE

Nope, the money should be in that account till your visa is out. Also, the money is, presumed, to be for your upkeep in the UK, so why moving it back to a fixed account?
