Today, there were a lot of instances where we tried to build from the back, but Welbeck, Rutter and the other Brighton players didn't let us, but for the majority of the game, they could easily play through haphazard press. There was a particular instance where Sesko, Mount, Bruno and Mainoo thought they had Brighton cornered, but a simple ball was played to the Brighton LW, and he was all alone because Dalot was not in sync with the rest. I am not sure the playing personnel alone will change this. Rather, the setup has to be right, and the players have to understand their roles on the pitch when we attack, press and defend. This is not clear when you watch our games, at least from what I see, and this is down to coaching and constant practice...

No matter how good your press is there's no way you expect to play Brighton that they won't beat it on multiple occasion. We actually did ok in containing them today. Even the best pressing team in the league conceded 5 big chances to them on Wednesday here. When they played Arsenal they had 47% possession today it was 40. Infact all Epl teams are now comfortable playing from the back that your press no matter how coordinated it is will always get breached and played through on occasions.

In our last 4 games we have created 12 big chances according to sofascore and only scored 2 of those. 16% conversion rate. I will keep on banging on it. Our players need to be more clinical in front of goal.

I see how you just stylishly trying to dodge the question. No one is asking you to be a scout. As a fan what quality midfielders would you want United to go for in the summer? It's a simple and straightforward question but because you are scared of scrutiny if you list names you are trying to feign ignorance. At the end of the day we all know what we are doing.

Foden is an attacking midfielder. If we include Foden then I would add Mount and Fernandes to ours so once again you are really not saying anything tangible to prove your point.

Defending is also part of the game. We can't be letting in an average of 2 goals per game and expect the attackers to bail out the team everytime. They could be trying their best and boom the defense concedes a useless goal. That kills morale. Their work now becomes twice harder. While the attackers are doing trying to do their jobs, the defense should be doing same. We can't expect to score 3+ goals every game.

If there one aspect of the team that has improved from last season, it's the attack. Do you agree?

This is the premier league, your opponents are always going to get chances. The attack has improved from last season yet we are not clinical enough. They are soo many games this season where we should have been out of sight but we couldn't take our chances and that puts pressure on the defense to be perfect and hold out the opposition. Take a look at city over the last 3 games they dropped points. They created numerous chances against Chelsea and Brighton to go 2 and even 3 goals up yet they fumbled and their opponents capitalized. When you are not clinical your opponents still believe it can get something from the game and will continue to push to achieve it.

We went into the season with Sesko, Zirkzee, Semenyo, Cunha, Mbuemo, and Amad playing two competitions. Once again you are not making sense.

How is marmosuh different from us buying zirkzee and then buying Sesko in back to back windows and they sold Alvarez for huge sum so they needed a replacement. That ur example makes zero sense. How many strikers/attackers have we bought over the last 3 seasons alone?

We create enough chances to outscore our opponents. Barcelona conceded 2 today yet won. We need to be more clinical. Today game we should have been two nil up in the first 15mins of that game and Brighton spirit would have been broken.

Our average possession is very good but take a look at our xG difference and big chances created. We are massively not taking our chances when dominating.

All these midfield talks are just distractions. Our main issue remains converting the chances we create. We created much more than Brighton today, controlled the game yet we couldn't score from our numerous opportunities.

For 30 million? He is 21 and an English international and even if he didn't workout here we would have easily recouped whatever we bought him for. We bought Dan James for 15 and sold him for 25m. The Sesko we bought instead for 70 million will be harder to recoup anything on if he flops and he's currently heading that way.

You are reaching. We literally ragdolled all our laliga opponents last season and no one said technicality was overrated.

We are at full strength today. Cunha and Mount back in the matchday squad. It's baffling how we got City, Chelsea and Arsenal in our first 5 games.
