It will amount to telling yourself a lie if you look at our midfield and think we are good to go for the season. When I saw our lineup vs Everton, I hinted that we could do with a midfielder for the money we plan to spend on Sesko, that's how much I think of our midfield as the one area we need to fix...

So you didn't see the need for a midfielder against Bournemouth and west ham when we we won comfortable but because of Everton game the club should disregard their initial plan going into the summer. Why are fans so reactionary.

None of those players you have listed play in a midfield two. Put Pedri or Vitinha in a midfield two and see how their performance reduces. Maino is good enough for that role. Amorim just needs to twerk his system a little bit to accommodate.

It was on this same thread some fans were against us signing Cherki, Delap, Mbuemo etc. Well known and well watched players. They were perceived as not good enough us to take us the next level so now imagine the reaction if we start buying Unknown players from South America, Africa, Germany etc



I don't know why you keep using PSG. They have spent nearly 900million over the last 3 seasons and still pay big bucks for players. Kvara was 70million, Kolo muani was 95, 19yrs old doue was 50, 20yrs old Neves was 60, Ramos 65m, Dembele 50 and even Barcola 45m etc. Those are huge amounts for unproven players.

We should look elsewhere, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, South America and even Africa. See PSG for example, how much did they use to assemble their super team? Anyone keeping up with United knows this. Deco and Rashford agent even met in January. Deco even confirmed their interest at the start of the window which is why Rashford has been adamant on only Barcelona. If he will get his wish depends on Barcelona deal for Williams.

Rashford rejected villa and has his eyes set on Barcelona. We would have made a deal using Rashford for Watkins if he was willing to stay at Villa.

I told you all we definitely adding a striker after Mbuemo. I saw a report yesterday Amorim asked for Two 10s, a striker, center midfielder and a goalkeeper.

Go and check his stats for seasons before the 24/25 season. If we want to go for a merc, we target established ones especially for 60m. This guy might underperform for us and we would be back to this point next summer.

I am hoping Amorim won’t have him replace Rasmus upfront or top strike him with Rasmus in a 3-5-2, because I don’t believe we will sign a new striker after getting Mbeumo and Cunha. Anyways, if we are to sign the guy, should be for max of 40m.

There's no where you will sign a winger coming on the back of a season after scoring 20league goals and providing 7assist in a top league like England for 40m. Sesko and ekitike with 13 and 14league goals in bundesliga are being prized for 70 to 80million. Let's be realistic for once.


As for his stats the upper season he had 9goals and 6 assist in 25games. Those are good stats for a winger at Brentford. What you will notice is constant progression and he might just be entering his prime.

INEOS will walk away if Brentford prices him over their valuation. We did the same with Braithwaith. The deal will be completed for 55m plus 5 as add ons which Brentford want.

You don't think the potential sales of Garnacho, Hojlund, Anthony, Sancho, Rashford etc will offset the amount needed to get a Striker

Why are your examples always so far off. The option was for Mbappe alone to decide to extend for a year not Psg, there was nothing the club could do. In this case Brentford are the one with the option not Mbuemo. I really don't get how something so simple is complicated for you to understand.
