Proudlyngwa: Like I said you people twist peoples words to fit you. What is more important, the image or the message. If I have a drawing that makes me love the saviour more, whether its his picture or not. How is it bad. Once again where have I advocated worship of such image. Kindly reference or apologize. You see! Accept that this is your wisdom, and in God's agenda, it is in vain! (Mark 7:7). This is because a picture of Jesus can never makes you love him more. Why? Because "love is fulfilling (keeping) the law" (Romans 13:10). Oga, you are subtly endorsing idolatry. Sorry, I have no apology to tender. |

Proudlyngwa: And how does the second commandment corelate to my post. A graven image is made for the purpose of worship, where did any of my initial post support that. I have told you I believe in John 10.10, how does that show I believe in physical things. So what do you called such things like "picture of Jesus"? Here is your comment: Many things were not covered in the Bible. Many people use visuals to remind them of things, people and events.
What we should be concerned about is leading a good life. This is a subtle endorsement of idolatry. This is because in the Bible, these things are condemned! And then you went ahead and dismissed such practices as inconsequential, as long as one is leading a good life. How will you described an act of bowing and praying in front of an image of Jesus or Mary? Is that not idolatry? |

TonyeBarcanista: Lol you and I know that Jesus wasn't born on December 25th, and Emperor Constantine of Rome decreed that upon advice of Catholic Bishops. That one is not even an argument.
On whether I celebrate it, NO SIR! I don't celebrate the birth of any Christ on December 25, but I celebrate a period and enjoy my rice.
Back to the subject, you can't hide behind "not all things were recorded" to disobey THE COMMANDMENT THAT IS RECORDED! Did you just hear that supposed Christian? According to him, all you need do is focus on John 10:10, and all other sins like adolatry shall remain inconsequential!

Proudlyngwa: And what is the commandment given in the bible if I may ask, then corelate it with my post concerning this topic.
There are a lot of things the bible didn't talk about. We should not bother ourselves about inconsequential things, rather we should focus on john 10.10 .
I hope you didn't celebrate Xmas because the bible never talked about it. Excuse me! Are you saying that the second commandment is inconsequential?
And who told you I'm a celebrant of your pagan Xmas? Again I ask you: On whose wisdom are you speaking these things?
So when we focus on John 10:10, all sins like idolatry are forgiven, abi |

Once I was in darkness, keeping one idol in the name of "Infant Jesus of Prague" (all thanks to that false church- mother of all idolatry). But when the glorious light of God shone on me, I smashed that statue in such a way that even the devil himself quaked! |

MrPresident1: Jesus is an ideology.
Jesus=ideology of God Christ=men anointed with the ideology of God Jesus Christ=men anointed with the Word of GOD.
The ideology of God is the Law of Moses. Whether we like it or not, we will all return to that Law, because that is the meaning of the coming of Jesus: the Law of God will be written in our hearts. And when he comes back, we will all be like him...
Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
After those days, which days? The days of our tribulation. Our tribulations will end by 20th January 2017 by which time the kingdom of God would be fully established on earth

EKITI State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has described the sack of the Executive Secretary of the Financial Regulatory Council of Nigeria, Jim Obazee, in connection with the implementation of the controversial Corporate Governance Code 2016 as an afterthought and cover-up to stem the tide of negative public reactions to the implementation of the controversial law that stripped the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, and others of their positions.
He questioned the speed at which the President reacted by sacking the FRC boss, asking: “Why was there no such swiftness in his action on Southern Kaduna killings where a race was almost wiped out, with people killed like goats? Why didn’t the President react swiftly to the Senate indictment of the EFCC Acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu?
“Obviously, it was an afterthought, which was aimed at dousing the negative outcry that greeted the action by using the sacked FRC boss as the fall-guy. Is there any zombie competent enough to answer these salient questions raised by Fayose |

This is an issue that has been bothering me for the past 2 years when i first introduced my girlfriend to my mother, i am about to tie the knot with my girl but the problem is that she's too short for my mother's likeness coupled with the fact that i'm also short as well, my mum has always wanted me to marry someone taller than i am to balance my height so as not to give birth to short children. Now i find myself confused on whether to follow my mum's advice or to leave my long term girlfriend, who has been there for me, whom i only dream of spending the rest of my life with, she has been loving and caring ever since i met her, that's why am sharing this problem with you (my fellow Nairalanders) ...

Christianity Etc › Re: What Is The Significance Of Mountain In Christianity by Splinz(m): 6:50pm On Jan 09, 2017 |
The mountain is a secluded area that is devoid of distractions, which is just the right atmosphere to commune with God.
It is being at peace with nature. Unlike life in our common environment where you have no real peace of mind 24/7.
So, it is no surprise that Jesus and the rest of the saints chose such a place to communicate with God. |

Benblaq: y dnt u jst strt reading ur bible nd stp being daft LOL... please teach me how to start reading it... . Or is this your own way of surrendering? Go ahead! Call 911- call for help! Tell even your priest that you're being whipped mercilessly here, and you're failing woefully to defend yourself... You lots claims to be owners of the Bible (a disgusting lie!), yet, even an atheist is more knowledgeable in biblical matters than your so-called priest. It is no surprise! After all, the only thing a Catholic knows is to bow down to one dumb, blind, and lame giant idol in the name of 'a' Mary or Jesus. Here's how the Bible describes your gods: The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see. They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths. Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them. (Psalm 135:15-18). What a perfect description! I once witnessed an insane scene, where a local Catholic faithfuls had to carry one idol in their head (poor things, I can imagine such a burden) in the name of taking Mary round the community. What a lame god! |
