Chimumsy20: For all new applicant
Try as much as possible to avoid schools in Dublin if you're on budget as the accommodation and living expenses is ridiculous. You can apply for job from anywhere in Ireland . You can only apply for single entry while in Nigeria and if you're planning to travel during studies. Then, you have to apply for re entry visa which is guaranteed till the expiry date of your GNIB. The cost is 100 euros Be mindful of the schools you're applying to. Check their rankings on google before you apply. I will advice, you apply only to the top ten schools. You will thank me later. As for staying back, it's possible if u find any company that can sponsor your work visa which is not easy as portrayed. However, it differs on individual basis. Also most people come to Ireland as route to Canada or Australia. Thanks please can explain more on the coming to Ireland as route to Canada and Australia....as it's what I intend? please share me your opinion |

ICaSNg: Its worthwhile to note that your SOP to get an admission offer is slightly different from the one you're required to submit for visa application.
Emphasis should be on why you've choosen Ireland , skills you stand to gain or acquire and of what positive impact it will contribute to your home country upon completion of your program..don't forget to express that you'll be returning to Nigeria. thank you...would look into and hopefully send to you for cross checking. |

tommee: Hello Gurus,
Good Evening,My 1 year tuition is 15,445CAD for a 2year PGD intended study i was delayed 30th of last month for with all financial boxes ticked so i applied immediately for my GCMS note. After seeing the notes i think my case is a clear example of V.Os not checking all documents submitted please i really need your input and advise because i want reapply immediately. Apart from paying the tuition fee balance for 1year what other things do you think i can add to tackle this denial. Please see attached GCMS note stating Lump sum from an unknown source and below the history of the financial statement submitted.
Sponsor Mum GT Bank - 7.8 million (Mum received rent of 4.6 million in July for a whole building she letted out to a school she also paid 7,500 CAD half of 1 year tuition in August UBA- 2.3 million (her salary account with monthly income of 285,000)
My Bank Statement GT Bank- 2.5 million (Mum transferred 1.5 million to me and she stated it in the letter addressed to V.O)
Please note that i included rent receipt of the 4.6 million and all documents of the building ?but obviously the V.O did not check the document and still denied me on lump sum from an unknown source. The v.O also stated i included a third party sponsor which is false. There two statement from my mum and my GTBank LOA please how did you apply for your GCMS note? I also want to apply for mine |

Frankrobbn1: I'll advice you run a check on Memorial University of Newfoundland Canada (MUN) as it is also one of Canada's cheapest universities across Atlantic Canada for MSC international students and it offers broad range of programs that will suit your need.
Better still you can check on universities like university of Winnipeg , university of Saskatchewan, and other colleges as well etc...
Additionally, make google your best friend. Do your research and findings, then come here and ask related questions you don't understand.
I hope this information helps.
Cheers! thank you, fully understand |

Frankrobbn1: Hello, I'll answer your question because you are my Name sake... lol.
Brandon University is one of Canada's cheapest university, if not the cheapest.
Annual Tuition fees in Accounting for 30credit hours goes for 6758CAD. Other miscellaneous Expenses like student service fees,U pass, student fitness fees etc... plus the tuition will cost you for a year = 7677CAD.
Brandon always advice students to budget 18,000CAD for annual tuition and living expenses.
In respect to the tuition it is paid Annually(Only if cic instructs you to do so)
Be guided that tuition fees don't cover your living Expenses like feeding and Accomdation. You need to have 10,000CAD handy for your living expenses plus tuition fees for a year.
Of course yes, if you are the hustling type you will get job when you get there, (getting a job in Canada is not easy as you think) in as much as you will be issued your study permit and SIN at the point of entry (POE), so this makes you eligible to work 20hours per week while studying and you can work as much as you can without restrictions while school isn't on session(OFF CAMPUS). So, you don't necessarily need to rely on your sponsor for all your expenses, either you will depend on him a little mostly for tuition fees, while you settle your bills for your living expenses. Because i doubt if you will get a job that can cover both your living expenses and tuition fees while studying in Canada.
√On this forum we advice applicants to pay their annual tuition fees(7677CAD) while your sponsor deposits your living expenses (10,000CAD) into your dorm account (This serves as a proof of commitment to your sponsor), After all, make sure your sponsor has enough sufficient funds remaining to cater for his family, business etc...
I hope this information helps NameSake!
Good luck in pursuit of your Canadian dreams. hello, thanks for your advise, Pls aside Brandon university which other university as cheap tuition fee for msc program most esp in logistics and supply chain or shipping management |

henrooik: Bosses in the house please I need your advice in this legalisation issues. I have an admission to study at C-MAT University of Antwerp 2017-2018, my application was done online with my documents only scanned and uploaded and after which they interviewed me through Skype and eventually gave me the admission. They specifically asked me to legalize my degree certificate, scan it and send it to their email and also not to forget to come with the legalised degree document while coming to register in the school by September. I have legalized a certified copy of my B.Tech cert. But as I am goin through this thread I found out that the embassy requires more than degree cert. apart from the police report and Annex 32. Please, I ask if I must legalise my transcript and also, is it mandatory to legalise my original Waec cert. and my original degree cert. As I have their certified copies Before I can submit my application for visa. Your contributions are vital. Please help !!! hello, please I am also about to submit my admission application for msc in maritime and air transport... please so you mind giving me any clue as I am new to it all, I sent u a pm please respond |
