It is not a problem as long as you don't have compulsory savings with the company so you can walk away at anytime, it is only your reputation that is on the line. However if it is in the financial sector like micro finance or cooperatives where you were compelled to bring guarantors or where you have signed out loans to customers then they will have every reason to come after you.

I believed there's a unit called recovery unit that help with the loan recovery. Or is it the staff that will go after defaulters?

You we be the one to look for the loans defaulters. When u notice their are not READY to pay back or being STUBBORN you we have to involve the officer. Then from there the officer we follow up and take necessary actions.

Want to apply for sales job in one of the lending firm in Lagos here. They are basic things I really want to know. When you loan out fund as staff to your customers who will go after your customers when they didn't pay back on time or refused paying?
