This is very true. My car become so soft both in sound and movement

Once you are planning to sell, I am planning to buy... No wahala. Don't even bother to fix the top gasket issue, i will buy it with the problem.

Name your price oga, but remember you are selling a faulty car..

I hardly drive for 15 minutes without looking at the electronic instrument cluster, that is the dashboard. I know not less than 6 people that lost their engines due to overheating.

For me, one of the cheapest ways to maintain your car is by checking your dash board often.

Overheating can be as a result of these factors

1. Bad radiator cap
2. Dirty radiator
3. Leaking house or rad.
4. When your fan is in bad shape.

I hope the engine can be redeemed. At times, its almost beyond redemption when the engine is fried. Hope you have a good hand?

All you have to do is too change the gasket since the engine sound is very ok and working perfect.

To the guys that had the experience of the "not so good" engine function even after changing the gasket, it may be that the burnt gasket already affected the engine before even they noticed the problem and change the gasket.

I want to agree with this comment, My Honda element gasket got burnt.

Changed the gasket and the SUV never remained the same again.

First, it sounds a bit louder than before...
Now am getting some strange whistling sound from engine

You must have poured water in the radiator before the engine was absolutely cool.

I believe you should change the gasket and sell it.

Don’t even try and buy half engine; just change the whole engine if you want to continue enjoying that car. But engine is very costly (like 500) so you best just replace the gasket and sell it off
