Okay just calm down. How soon is your interview?
Scroll up and you would see the search button. Type in Walspring inside the box and that should bring his posts. Click on the name walspring and that should bring his profile. Scroll down and send him a mail. Hopefully he sees this and replies you faster

If anyone else can help pay his sevis fee, please do. The person that paid mine really did me a favor and I wouldn't want to bother her again. I am sorry

INTERVIEW TRANSCRIPT
vo: why are you going to the U.S.
Me: The education system of the U.S. is widely and generally accepted in providing in-depth research and fundamental knowledge in solving national and international issues. Thus, a Master's degree program in the U.S. will equip me with top notch research and knowledge to tackle existing and emerging societal issues in Nigeria.
Vo: where are you going to
Me: I am go to Murray state university(the racers) to acquire a Master's degree in public administration
Vo: what is your study plan
Me: I am required to complete total course requirement of 33 credit hours for a period of 24 months. During the cause of my program, I will be taking major causes such as: research methods, foundation of public administration, public policy analysis, public budgeting and finance.
Vo: How many school did you apply to
Me: just one
Vo: why Murray state university
Me: the school curriculum is well designed that it covers all aspect public administration ( health administration, public community health, economic development and non- profit leadership studies) with excellent state of art research facilities ( ray science campus, watershed study institute, center for economic education and finance) and also an impressive 15 to 1 student to faculty ratio.
Vo: How did you know about Murray state university
Me: it was recommended to me by a lecturer I have close contact with, then I proceeded to make further research about the school and found out it is ranked 34th best colleges regional university south
Vo: did you write any standardized test
Me: No, it was not required
Vo: Tell me about your academic background
Me: I had my Bsc in business administration in 2012 from ........ university
Vo: what have you been doing since then
Me: after the completion of NYSC in 2014, I attended a workshop on leadership and career development and later held a position as a customer care agent at ....... limited, presently I work as an administrative officer at ......limited and also a volunteer for an NGO
Vo: But you have a job, why are you leaving
Me: it is only a temporary leave which I wil be back with greater drive to make an impact through NGOs, as our government need to be monitored and kept on their toes to ensure they are proactive and sensitive in formulating and implementation of public policies that has direct impact on the citizenry.
Vo: This program is available online, why do u want to travel for it
Me: online degree is yet to be generally accepted in Nigeria, having the program online will hinder ability to interact, brainstorm and share ideas with fellow international students, and also limit direct access with course advisors for possible assistance.
Vo: why are you changing from business administration to public administration
Me: both degrees are actually interwoven, I am looking to have in-depth knowledge on how to tackle emerging societal issues. As a matter of fact, my undergraduate project was centered on the impact of business environmental factors on the performance of business.
Vo: What will you do after this program
Me: upon the completion of my program, I intend to come back to Nigeria to work and partner with NGOs to tackle the major problem of policy formation, monitoring and implementation, as our government show less concern in implementing policies after being formulated.
Vo: who is your sponsor
Me: my dad
Vo: what does he do
Me: he is in to .....sector
Vo: can i have his statement of account
Me: yes please, pass it to vo
Vo: congratulations I will be approving your visa

Gurus in the house, please, help me scrutinize and criticise my transcript and identify flaws and loopholes found. Thank you
Please don't mention that the course you are going for is online. That is automatical denial because you can be in the comfort of your room and study the course.

As in eh, thank you for making it plain oh...
If I come here to do fund raising for educational expenses, he will still be the first person to complain about people bugging others with their overpriced ambitions.
Now I wanted to know schools that give full ride, he is complaining...
People sha, they can just be too harsh on others with one kind of myopic self-worth attitude.
I think what he meant was, if you don't personally do your research to know if a school is good for you and absolutely want to go there for some specific reasons, you will have a hard time nailing the question 'why this school or how did you hear about this school?' and probably say something they have heard over a million times when you didn't personally do your own research.
These little things are the reasons people get denied.
100kobo didn't mean it that way. He has honest intentions and has been helping people on here. He helped me with my proposed transcript so he means well for everyone.

My interview is for 19th November again after rebooking after the denial on the 7th of November.

I was denied visa in Abuja on the 7th November of this month. That was my second f1 denial.
The last interview was Howmany schools did you apply to ?
Told her two. One admitted. I didn’t finish application for the other one !
I did Gmat. I have a scholarship. I have 4times the money I need for my program. Mom and myself is the sponsor

Pls I will be waiting for help.
People with better profiles have been denied. It will be better for you to post a detailed transcript of the conversation between you and the Vos. This is going to be your third appearance, make it count

Pls. I've been given an admission into one of university in the US for masters program and the resumption date is on the 2nd of January 2019. I'm thinking I might not be able too meet up with the time frame as per the visa stuff. I just want to ask if I can defer the admission and would I need to fill the I 20 form? And would I need to still go for the interview at the US embassy?
It takes a few minutes to get visa approved. Some people here have also not gotten their I-20s. You can use a courier service so latest next week, you will get your I-20 sent to you from the school. You can request for an emergency appointment and get a date in December.
It's still possible if you want to go for spring.
Some of our bosses here got their visas approved a few days to their resumption e.g imperiouxx and uncle gboyegaD. Someone even got his visa three days before resumption, he picked it up and from there to the airport so if you really want to go for spring there is still time otherwise, defer.

It depends on you

Please I have a question
What is the most accurate answer to this question
"Tell me about this course /program"

Is it to tell the VO the duration of the course, credit units and the other courses that will be done or

How the course will be useful to Nigeria when you come back. i.e what the degree will do for you.
There might not be enough time to talk about both so which one nails the question better.
Thank you
Anyone please??

I expected you to share testimony that you got your visa with the school but ended up dashing peoples hope with the refusal you got. Which fault are you talking about. Well it’s better to learn from people’s experience. Am not saying that people don’t get visa with Lincoln, iglobal , VIU, but visa refusal rate I have seen with those schools is very high. There is over 3000 schools in USA... why must it be these schools?
It's true others should try and apply to better universities but it doesn't mean it is automatic denial for these schools cos people have gone with these unis but they were lucky

No. I came back with it. Why do you ask? Is there any meaning to it if they did or didn't
Someone here said they now verify each and every bank statement at abuja and Lagos. I wouldn't have been concerned because my statements are legit but collecting bank statements slows down application. You might not hear from them till two weeks or three weeks and some of us don't have that kind of time as school resumes first week in Jan

Does these cases say anything to you?

While the one was direct, the other waited to be prodded. It will be natural for the interviewer to lose interest after the third question. Another interviewer, may have elected to ignore. But who do you blame when there are tons of other candidates on the waiting queue.
Wow. I get it now. Thank you so much.

You seem to be a genuine student, but let me observe that your responses lacked 'live'. You were too reactive; almost being forced to deliver your facts. Next time, take the interview to the VO. You can be in the driver seat and determine the next question they'll ask. Many still need to master the art of public speaking.

The VO was simply uninspired with your responses. To put it technically, you were unable to convince the VO on why you should be approved. I'll advice you read more Success Transcripts to have a clue on how to give comprehensive and composite responses.

Cheer up!
Please can you explain more on how his answers were reactive? So that we can learn how to deliver responses properly without sounding forced to deliver facts. Thanks sir

You are welcome.
Pls, I would advice u 2 start researching how to pay sevis fee, i think @walspring is famous here for helping peeps with that. You can also start filling your ds 160 form and save it on your computer. I have filled mine and saved on my system. Tho, there are some part I can't fill since I don't have admission yet.
I would advice u go through your schools website and check thoroughly.(usually information for admitted students)
You need to get as much info as u can get concerning factors that may delay your I-20.
For example now, I recently discovered that the school am applying to won't issue out I-20 until they get official transcripts(some schools issue out I-20 before official transcripts but dey won't allow u 2 register for classes without having received ur official transcripts.)

They also won't issue out I-20 if the schools compulsory vaccination form is not filled and scanned back to them.

Like most schools, they also won't issue out I-20 form until u fill and submit d financial statement forms with copies of ur sponsors bank statements. But most school allow you to scan this financial form and bank statements back to them but for my school, u must ship it to them by courier, they don't accept scanned copies of bank statements and financial forms.
those are the things am working on now: transcripts, how to get financial statements to them on time so as not to delay my form I-20, get doctor to fill vaccination form and even do one nonsense tuberculin skin test for tuberculosis grin

I dint know all these things until some weeks back after checking their website thoroughly, I saw things I never saw there before. I mailed them for the ones I wasn't clear about and they replied me within hours. (i normally mail them within their working days and time tho).
An by the side, I don dey write and answer likely interview questions also...
Hopefully, we will get there in Jesus name.
AMEN!!!

So, there's still much to do with little time....
Arm ursef with as much information as possible.
My schools don't have requirements for i-20 shipping. It's just to present bank statements which I did during my applications.
Thanks alot. Amen to your prayers

I think November ending should still be good for your I-20, once u are able to pay your SEVIS fee ASAP, carefully fill ds 160 form, pay nd book visa interview.
u shud also be able 2 get an expedited date as a 1st timer, that's if your program kicks off within 30 days.
I am for Spring 2019, ULL, MSC. I never get admission, my school's Funding decision comes out by December 1st. So I won't get my I-20 till about 1st or 2nd week of December. Admission decision should be available by 2nd or third week of November though but I seriously need that POSITIVE FUNDING decision. I'm super confident and relaxed.
You can't hasten ur schools decision, u can check their website thoroughly, mail them and you will get an idea of when u will get an admission decision. Keep praying nd hope for the best.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Thank you so much, this is a huge relief. I thought I was the only one. Thanks so much

Good evening everyone. I have been a silent reader but I decided to create an account to ask my question.

I applied to some universities in the US around September and finished all my applications september ending. October 1 was the deadline for these schools so I made sure I finished my applications. I am amazed that till now I haven't gotten any response from any of them. People are already going for interviews and I haven't even gotten admission for spring 2019. I am going for bachelors. Though I noticed most people with admission are those going for masters so maybe it's faster for them. Does it take this long for undergraduate admissions?

Also, if I get the admission latest second week in November hope it is not too late as I intend to get my I20 sent down through DHL or FedEx and if the school resumes on the 7th of Jan, can I get an expedited appointment three weeks before or two weeks before as I have noticed people that get emergency appointments are those whose school resumes in a week.

Please I would love these two questions to be answered. Thanks
Please someone should reply this

Does this mean everyone will be placed on automatic administrative processing?
