Ibime: Arteta no dey manage anything, just the usual stodgy football and hope for set-pieces or individual brilliance while keeping defence tight. It's a valid and consistent management style, but one afforded him by extreme patience after over 5 years of failure
Maresca on the other hand knows how to penetrate and overload teams tactically in a way Arteta could not even dream of. There is almost no Chelsea match you go into and don't expect Chelsea to score even if it's Tyrique George as striker. Maresca must overload you somewhere on the pitch and penetrate your defence. Na Arteta be master of overloads. Imagine having your LB as no 8 or your CF dropping to become the second RW. The only overload Maresca does is Cucurella or James inverting to midfield, something Arteta have played with and even abandoned |

Amoto94: Nigerian Air Force attack aircraft, most likely A-29 Super Tucanos conducted multiple strikes, killing scores of BHT/ISWAP fighters. The insurgents, estimated at about 300 strong, had launched a coordinated pincer assault on troops of the 28 Task Force Brigade, Sector 4, attempting to outflank and overrun their position at around 3 a.m. on Saturday.
The troops held their ground in a fierce two hour firefight. When the terrorists failed to overrun the position, they attempted to withdraw toward the Timbuktu Triangle. But their escape route had already been identified, and NAF attack aircraft were vectored to intercept. The arrival of the jets sealed their fate.
The NAF carried out multiple interdiction sorties against the fleeing fighters. The first strike hit a cluster of terrorists attempting to regroup, while follow up sorties targeted the surviving elements who scattered into the forest in a bid to escape.
The ordeal was far from over for the surviving terrorists. NAF armed attack drones soon joined the fray, maintaining continuous ISR overwatch as they delivered precision strikes on the remaining fighters attempting to make a hasty retreat.
Once again, the Nigerian military effectively combined intelligence, surveillance, and coordinated air ground operations to decimate terrorists attempting a surprise assault on troop positions. It's a shame that it's the insurgents making the attempt to attack against our revered military. No wonder this problem hasn't gone away. Very shameful. It's not a victory, it's an embarrassment |

As a honest Chelsea fan, I do not wish to have BP thinking we can get any result from playing Arsenal on Sunday. If we manage to get a shot on target I would be OK. Those guys are terrific. If they don't hit you with set pieces they hit you with clinical passing transition. I think Arteta is better than our manager Maresca, who is no where near the tactical genius Arteta is.
If we sit low block, they hit us. If we attack they hit us. Either way we are done.
Let's just make sure we are not disgraced. Let maintain than sanctity of Stanford Bridge and not allow an abuse.

mine3112: Spy why now? The man also deserves some accolades. I know it is all on board for dropping the cheque. Berthasurely deserves a lot of praise for his speed and ruthlessness at handling transfers. He was able to get the deals done. But you see, our primary problem at Arsenal isn't getting deals done. It is actually having the money to do the deals. I said here last year or two about the Kroenkes having not invested in the club. That lack of investment was what made us not to have the depth to cross the line to the title. For example, last season in January Man City spent over 300m to push the team from 5th to 3rd. Arsenal on the other hand was second place and guess what, there was 0 spending to get the club to challenge Liverpool for the title. What is investment? It is having to spend without having need to sell. Last summer was the only transfer window where we spent 200m without having to sell anyone. For me, that was what made the difference. I have been criticising the Kroenkes for not in investing, so now that they have, I should praise them. |

There's a jihad going on. And APC supporters think they can argue it away on social media.
Especially the Ronus.
The plan seems to be to conquer the SW first.
It's just that the perpetrators are overrating themselves and think it's something they can do irrespective of the noise.
But the Ronus are underrating them and think it's not possible even though scores are dying on a daily basis. |

I want to give a shout out to Bishop David Oyedepo. He used his pulpit on Sunday to speak out against Christian genocide and even called for a seven day midnight prayer.
He has always been vocal against Islamisation of Nigeria. He has also been very religiously tolerant as he is very picky with his language.
His voice matters. |

mostob: nah... He's where he should be at that point in time. Assuming Spurs were the one holding the ball, I would agree with you. I've seen him occupy RCB and LCB a lot of time just so we can bypass the press. It's not his fault please Doesn't the bolded look weird to you? On a normal. You think it's not his fault because he is where the manager expect him to be. It's a tactical position but it is what caused the goal. When a manager's tactics creates a loop hole then call it, not a petty losing the ball which is not absurd |

daveP: You strike again. Raya was not in a totally wrong zone with us in possession for that error. That's why Zubi takes the full blame cos he saw 2 coming onto him and was trying to do prime time Busquets/Partey. Raya could have been faster but that error was 90% on Zubi. Try putting the blame on who caused it to happen abeg. Getting dispossessed is the least expected for Zubi. He got callous. Call a spade a spade nowwwww. Cheiiii So any time a player is tackled and dispossessed they should make an apology? Or is it because it's Zubi? |

mostob: Raya's fault? How please? It's 100% on Zubi please. Zubi's fault was to lose the ball. But that happened in a non dangerous area with three defenders already shielding. Raya's fault was poor positioning that led to the goal. If Raya was in his goal, Richarlison would not have attempted the shot from that distance. Even if he did, it would be an easy punch away for Raya who was not under pressure by any player and whose line of sight was clear. That goal entered not because Zubi was dispossessed but because Raya was off position. A midfieder getting dispossessed is normal error but a GK staying out of position is not normal error. |

Roland17: I welcome this post with grace, kindness and an overdose of vengeance.
Firstly, God knows I prayed so hard going into Sunday because I knew my enemies were setting me up for pain. You are right, I am still basking in the euphoria of yesterday's joy because I was something else after Magic Mike saved that PK from the snake. Like you know, the NLD is personal for me and the boys showed up and reminded those midgets who runs the City. There is something extra for me when HaleEnd has something to do with the pain inflicted on those dirty Spuds. As for my Celtics, I have removed mind before season started, I watch them with peace of mind. They are now over .500 but I am not buying their "gbanjo" night market.
Now, to the simple match up against your FC Hollywood. I have a lot of resentment that needs to be settled on Wednesday. You have disgraced me, caused me a lot of pain and anguish over the years, denied me opportunities to advance and have contributed to my trophy drought in Europe. I believe I am in the best form to inflict some pain and hand you some serious beating. I want to use Wednesday to test microphone, just incase, you show up in the latter stages against me, like you always do.
Please come with your white, I will be wearing all black because there is no stain to protect. Gabu is going to be available to handle the dirtiest player the world has ever seen. We know he still spots a Spud jersey under his Bayern's and will like to reveal it if he scores but we will be ready. He will receive serious physical assault on Wednesday, you will be forced to bring Jackson. Infact, he would need head wraps for the beating he will collect before his substitution.
There is no peace meeting before Wednesday. You are coming to Arsenal and body go touch una! Brutal assessment 😂 |
