The narrative that NK is responsible for the killings in the SE is false. We should be careful because the lives of people are involved here.

If not for anything, NK defended the lives of Igbos against the marauders called herdsmen that attack farmers. This was in response to the inability of the governors of the SE to respond to the calls for protection.That's why he formed the ESN to protect his people. ESN itself is a replica of Amotekun. Recall that the SE governors in response went ahead to later form another version of ESN called Ebubeagu Security Network who are the people largely responsible for whatever insecurity you see today.

IPOB under Kanu was largely peaceful except when they formed ESN specifically to fight Fulani herdsmen (similar to Igboho)

Let's not use sentiments to argue. Both Kanu and Igboho wanted the same things and even approached them the same way. They both set up militias.

Now whatever Kanu said about Lagos was during the Endsars protests and it was way a to hit the country hard. That is he wanted that protest to lead to chaos that would probably give room for disintegration.

It's the hypocrisy and the partiality of the FG in dealing with the case that has made it look sentimental.

Igboho for example, is not different from Kanu. So why is he not in DSS custody?

What they admitted by that press release was that they interviewed the notorious kidnapper kelvin who killed a former deputy governor and kidnapped ozekhomen ; yet somehow, they think releasing him makes sense. They also interviewed over 40 illegal miners and thought releasing them makes sense more than people sentenced for petty theft like stealing tubers of yam. They are saying they interviewed 70 drug dealers/drug mules, and they thought it wise to let them enjoy the good grace of a president that had over $400k linked to drug trade seized from him by the government of United States.

See they are not reviewing any shiiit, they are just trying trying to cover face from the backlash that followed the release of the ludicrous pardon list. Imagine they claimed they involved CAN, NBA, Supreme council of Islamic affairs, etc in the initial review just to force it down our throat. When they see how people have reacted including their staunch supporters, they are trying to deceive us by claiming an AGF is reviewing what the GCFR has already given 100% approval. ☹️
