The good thing about pairing Auba and Laca is that they are different and bring unique contributions to the team play.
Auba has the pace while Laca the stamina.
Auba takes on his markers while Laca hassles them.
Auba has the eye for goals while Laca provides them.
Auba has the positioning while Laca creates spaces.
Their bromance simply makes everything synchronize. |

I have a feeling our players weren't interested in the top four race. The way Xhaka gave away that penalty Vs Brighton.
Well, it's going to be an all England CL, EL finals.

ORIJIN201: They will come out and play. We are bound to score. Else those sisies better don’t come back to London! Spanish teams are good at such comebacks. They will do like they aren't interested until the last 10mins when you will see a flurry of attacks. Two quick goals and bam game over. We should play them accordingly, toss the ball about like it doesn't matter, and then bam attack them and see the game off. Otherwise, go for early goal and waste the rest of the time. |

Fkhalifa: The fact remains spurs have had a very good and infact better season than Arsenal. Their owners and fans won't see pics as a failure until he has been given money to invest and bring silverware, Spurs fan and football neutrals do not expect spurs in top4 nor in last 4 in Europe, they do not have history nor money to protect. I understand Arsenal fans do not like spurs, so they can do no right, but I await that year we will get to UCL semifinals and see if Fans won't celebrate that season or not. There's a reason Utd mad Madrid wanted him. How do Spurs have a better season than us? Please answer logically. |

BlueRayDick: That is exactly what I was telling Khalifa when he was comparing arsenal with spurs. He was telling us how pochettinho has been a good coach and all.
Spurs still ain't shiiit! Same with Liverpool if they get knocked out by Barcelona and lose the title to City. Their season won't be better than ours if we eventually finish top four and win the EL. |

solomonbrown64: ....He is not my first choice nor even my third choice but we don't have the funds to get the quality players we need in all positions. We have too many positions to fill in so we just have to go with him. He is EPL proven also and will just slot into the team. Forget all these EPL proven ish, that was how Chelsea signed Drinkwater like he is the new Frank Lampard only to cry afterwards. If we can't get a marque signing, then we are better of with what we've got instead of adding more nonsense to it. |

solomonbrown64: .....Do you have the money to sign a proven winger, oga? We don't have a left back, a suitable right back backup, no Ramsey replacement, no winger and no world class center back. To me, there isn't much difference between Socratic and Mustafi, both are not good enough and Kos is old. Holding will take a while to return to form, same with Bellerin. Despite all of this, and you expect a marque signing, especially a winger! I think you are joking.
....Fraser has had 21 goal contributions across all competitions this season with 7 goals and 13 assists with worse team mates ,very hard-working too, the type Emery loves. Yet, he is not better than we already have? Iwobi and Mhki both have 9 goals and six assists between them all season and yet you compare this two to Fraser. .....Some fans here are impossible. And I hope you are not among the other fans that won't let us rest with complains of how so and so isn't ready for first team football or how so and so is a poor man's winger... |

solomonbrown64: ...Only Carrasco I will take in that list of yours and that itself is a risk. Although, if we can sell Mkhi, we can get him. Having two decent wingers is better than nothing but I think they play the same wing although it seems Fraser can play on both sides. Fraser is EPL proven and won't need to adapt. The same can't be said of any other person coming especially one from a Chinese league. Fraser also has better offensive stats than Jota and the rest and all of our offensive players put together except for our strikers. Seriously, it's no brainer.
...Fraser is the best option now for a cheap winger. Fraser is not better than what we already have. If we want to sign let's not do the same stupid mistakes we have been during for the last decade. Sign a proven winger. A marque. Not bleeping Fraser. |

pazienza: The problem started with Emery gaffe against Palace. Home was our strongest point this season, yet Emery chose to gamble with our home game.
A full strength team from the beginning of that match, and we would be 1point ahead of Chelsea at this stage with our destiny firmly in our hands.
We can blame Wenger all we like for leaving us a screwed up squad, we can blame Kroenke for refusing to loosen his purse strings and bring in quality signings, these are all valid points and they all deserve their blame. But this current situation of ours, it was caused by Emery getting too cocky and gambling with our home match. It's squarely on him.
If we don't make top 4 this season , it will be directly because of Emery blunder against Palace. Wenger filling the club with mediocre overpaid weak players and Kroenke refusing to offer Emery enough transfer warchest, will all be the secondary causes .
I noted after that Palace game, that the arrogance exhibited in that line up, could be season defining for Emery and Arsenal, and it's proving to be so today. Emery could argue that he put in a squad he believed were capable of winning the game. I think with the quality available to him, he had done well. Notwithstanding, bottling up a CL place at this time of the season is bad for his cv. |
